We have just returned from a week's holiday at the Theodosia. The complex on the whole is very clean and our appartment was comfortable with every thing that you could need. The kitchen was a bit small - but hey who goes on holiday to cook in any case! The staff were very helpful and pleasant and looked after us well. Excellent freshly cooked breakfast served with a smile . One of the only downsides to staying here was that it is quite a long walk from the main town - up an unmade road - fun the first couple of times that you do it but a real bind towards the end of the week or after a night on the town! Brochure says 200 yards, but I would say that it is twice this. Sidari itself had enough to keep us occupied for most of the week, however we did go off on 3 day trips ( Paleokastrista, Corfu Town and a long day in Albania). We would visit Corfu again, however would probably stay closer to Corfu Town as it was an arduous journey from Sidari - especially if the coach had to pick up at serveral different locations. We booked our trips via Phillip at Vlaseros Travel. If you don't book anything through him it is well worth just visiting him - a larger than life character who is mentioned in the Rough Guides. There was a hiccup with our Albania trip but he gave us an immediate refund. All in all though a good holiday and thanks to the staff at the Theodosia.
Me n my friends went to stay at the Theodosia apartments in Sidari in August, 2 for 1 week n 2 of us for 2 weeks. First arriving there and meeting the owner, Yiannis he seemed very unwelcoming, however once u get to know him u realise thats just the way he is, he was very helpful with everything. Have a joke with him, you'll soon get a smile out of him! Very basic rooms with not much of a kitchen but we didnt need to use that anyway as we ate out most nights. nice bar area with a good choice of food on the menu, gorgeous pool and no fight for sunbeds! met loads of great people at the apartments too! Shakers bar was by far the best place to be at night, met the sweetest glass collector you'll ever meet (didnt serve drinks lol) George!!! he was very friendly n came over to say hi every night! and he even remembered my friend from last year, how sweet!! all the staff were so friendly and the DJ played the best music, however the songs do get a little annoying after 2 weeks! The chinese restaurant above bedbar, cant remember the name...AMAZING!!! Weather gorgeous the whole 2 weeks we were there! We loved it that much were back next year!
On reflection my previous marking of 1 was bit unfair. The room was large with plenty of storage space. The floors were wiped every day and the bins emptied. There were plenty of chairs at pool which was well maintained. My other comments remain
I have just returned from the complex and was really disappointed. The people who ran it were very nice but the facilities left a lot to be desired. The towels were only changed twice in a week and if you are showering twice a day 6 showers with same towel I dont thing so!!! We had no hot water in the kitchen inspite of the fact we advised this on the day we arrived and nothing was done. We had a daily fight with the shower trying to get it first of all to stay in the wall the finally having given up the whole floor was flooded because there was no shower screen. Would not go back
We had a great time and loved the Theodosia Complex.

Me and my boyfriend are going to stay in the Theodosia Complex in Sidari in August 2007, which we are both really looking forward to!! I was wondering whether anyone could give me any advice on booking excursions as Ive been to Corfu twice before and want to visit some of the local attractions again!! We are going late August, will the weather still be hot??
We stayed in the Sofia Appartments (part of the Theodosia complex) - which were extremely clean - and cool. The Greek plumbing isn't the best but you expect that. George, Pipina, Yianni and especially Mimi all work extrremely hard. Young Yiannis was brilliant with my girls (10 and 7) and they loved his company. Greek night is fantastic (especially the food). The pool has a lovely mix of people and a great atmosphere. The town isn't full of lager louts as I'd been led to believe. Try some of the quiet tavernas before you get into the town - Elysee is lovely. Three Little Pigs is definitely worth a visit as is the Bed bar. The beach further down past the first point is lovely and sandy and we enjoyed a snorkel there. Make sure you stock up on Insect Repellant - it'll be your best investment!
Iv just came back from the Theodosia apartments in sidari and it was amazing the greek night was so much fun there was dancers and the best food iv ever tasted! The best thing was yannis he is beautiful and i cant wait to go back and see him

I have been back from sidara for 2wks now,and we had a fantastic time. i went with my partener and 3yr old son,we got a lovely warm welcome from all the staff when we arrived, and they all took a shine to (tomas). the aparments was lovely, and the pool was nice to. The maids there are brill they clean your room, and do your bed sheets and give you clean towels eveyday they work around the clock! we also meet a lovely bunch of people there, who we are still in contact with! if we was to go back to sidaria, which we are considering next year we will defo be going back to theodoisia!!!!! (also the owner is lovely just takes time for him to come out of his shell) xx
ive just got back from two weeks at theodosia apartments in sidari. the most relaxing two weeks of my life!
the dirt track takes about 5 mins to get up. there are a hotel at the bottom, and a large hotel half way up so there is plenty of light. I lived opposite the Theodosia for the summer and you get used to it.
Looking into staying at the Theodosia this year (2006) with First Choice. Ive read reviews about this dirt track can some one tell me more?
In reply to finding Theodosia studios in Sidari Forst Choise are featureing them again, althugh not in a brochure
Last year it was available with First Choice...but after looking on the sites and books for my parents we haven't been able to find it. Best bet would to go into the travel agents.
Does anybody know which company it is possible to book the theodosia apartments in sidari with for 2006 thanks
My boyfriend (Mark) and i (Dawn) had a fantastic time, we met some
brilliant people, it was like a mini family, the staff were friendly,
Yiannis the owner was a little quiet, i think people took it for being
rude but i think it was just shyness.
we would like to come back in the next two years, a big hello to everyone we met xx
The owner Yianis is friendly when you get to know him, he really looks after the complex pool with no complaints from us!!
