First of all, the people in the travelcentre said to us that it was a 3-star accomodation..
My partner, Daughter and I returned from our holiday to sidari in August 2005, it was the second time we have stayed at the beach star and we love it there, the staff are lovely especially Elaine & André's who could not do enough for you & the hotel is excellent yes the rooms maybe small but still they were cleaned every day and the food was lovely. we love it so much that we are going back this year & we are even getting married out there. We would defanetly recommend it to people.
Me and my boyfriend returned from our holiday at the sidari beach in August 2005. It was terrible!!! We stopped in a room what you could call the basement. It was really damp and mouldy, you couldn't even step onto the balcony for the overgrown forest that covered it. The shower in our room was terrible, the shower head would not stay on the wall and the shower curtain stuck to you, making showering a difficult task. The rooms never got cleaned and the bins never got emptied leaving our room smelling awful. We went bed and breakfast (thankgod not all incluisive) as the food was terrible. Also the people who were staying in the hotal the same time as us were absolute prats!! Sidari in itself is brilliant, beach and restaurants supurb, but we would not recommend the sidari beach hotel to anyone.
An ideal setting right on the Beach. This is without doubt the most friendlist hotel we have ever stayed in,the staff could not do enough for you,the breakfasts were just right and the whole experiance was one of total relaxation.I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing break were the staff actually care about the customer.A lot of big hotels could learn alot from this hotel ,it is a credit to Kiki and her family who run it and we will be returning next year.
This was my third visit to this hotel, which is a very friendly family hotel. The owner (Kiki) and her daughter (Alex) and their staff always make you feel at home. Unfortunately this year she was badly treated by Olympic and had to close before the end of season. My friend Miriam and I were left the only guests in our second week of an all inclusive holiday. Kiki and what was left of her staff treated us like royalty, but this did not make up for the fact that Olympic left us stranded and the reps were completely uninterested. We still enjoyed our holiday only due to these wonderful people at the hotel. Hopefully in 2006 they will be able to ditch Olympic and get bookings elsewhere. However, whatever, we will be back.
My friend Miriam and I are to visit the Sidari Beach Hotel again for the third time. We cannot understand some of the bad comments. Especially comments about the food being disgusting. Each time I have been there the food has been fresh, and the choice, although not as extensive as a large higher star hotel for all inclusive, is adequate and well cooked. I found the cleanliness of the hotel all round very good. The staff are wonderful and the owner, Kiki, and her daughter, Alex, were very welcoming and friendly. We went to a 4 star hotel in Cyprus last year and were more than disappointed and could not wait to get back to Sidari Beach this year.
We have just returned from the Sidari Beach Hotel in Sidari and can honestly say that we had a great holiday. Kiki and all the staff at the hotel couldn't do enough to help and assist you. The hotel is a little basic as is the food. However, there was always something at every meal that we liked. If you wanted something else then the staff always went out of their way to get it for you. Some of the reports for this hotel made me a little apprehensive about going. We had a wonderful time and met some very weird and wonderful firends. The hotel was very clean and our rooms were cleaned every day (except Sunday - but then everybody deserves a day off!!!). The pool was great and we never had a problem getting a sunbed. The pool side bar was open from 10am until the main bar opened at approx 7pm. You could get toasties, cheeseburgers, crisps, pizza and icecream etc. These were all made freshly on order.
Hi i am going to the sadari beach hotel soon.i was just woundering does this hotel have a pool bar?also on the picture in the brochure the hotel looked in the middle of nowhere......?
Had a weeks all-inclusive last september and had a great time. Kiki and Alex were great, welcoming and very kind. The breakfast was a bit boring but everything always tasted great, the only time we ate out was when going on a trip somewhere. The location is fantastic and you can go to sleep listening to the sea lapping against the shore. It's a very short walk into Sidari and everyone we met was helpful and pleasant. This is a 2 star hotel and I have been in 3 and 4 star hotels which are far worse. The cleanliness was very good and we had nothing to complain about and really enjoyed our holiday and are intending to go back soon.
Staying at Sidari Beach Hotel first week in July 2005 any info would be appreciated, I have stayed in Sidari before and found it to be very nice in fact I stayed at Loxides Apartments and it was excellent. E-Mail: niloct@hotmail.com
I AM UTERLEY DISGUSTED WITH SOME OF THE BAD COMMENTS PEOPLE HAVE MADE ABOUT THIS HOTEL!! DO YOU NOT READ ABOUT THE HOTEL BEFORE YOU ACTUALLY GO?? YOU ARE STAYING IN A 2* HOTEL, I THINK WITH WHAT SOME OF YOU WERE EXPECTING, YOU SHOULD OF STAYED IN A 4* HOTEL. THIS IS NOT AN EXPENSIVE HOLIDAY AND WHAT YOU GET IS ABSOLUTELY FABOLOUS!!
THIS WAS ONE OF THE MOST BRILLIANT HOLIDAYS I HAVE EVER HAD. A HOLIDAY IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT. I HAVE BEEN IN 4* HOTELS WHERE YES THE APARTMENTS WERE GORGEOUS AND THE FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, BUT THE STAFF HAVE BEEN SO RUDE! THIS HOTEL IS PERFECT IF YOU WANT A FRIENDLY ENVIROMENT AND A BLOODY GOOD LAUGH!
I RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE! BUT IT IS ONE OF THEM HOLIDAYS WHERE YOU HAVE TO LOOK INTO IT BEFORE YOU GO IF YOU ARE A PICKY PERSON!

What a great holiday we had at this hotel. The staff were brilliant and all aspects of the holiday were first class. Only slight downer was the dogs which occasionally were noisy and roaming about but otherwise food was good local drinks were fine (we went all-inclusive) and special mentions go to Kiki (the owner), Alex (her daughter) and Liz at the bar who were all wonderful and created a real family spirit. We met loads of new friends and hope to return next year (as a group) to enjoy the hospitality once more. Forget the negative comments - unless you want to nitpick. Remember - this is a 2 star hotel - NOT the Ritz, so ifyou accept it's shortcomings then you'll have a great time.
I am off All Inclusive to the Sidari Beach on 4th October and a little concerned after reading other comments. I am interested to hear any comments from recent visitors to this hotel. What are the bedrooms like? are there diet drinks available from the bar and a does it have good selection of alchol drinks? how long is the transfer time from the airport? any further information would be very useful.
i am not sure if there will be enough room on this site for the comments i have to make. let me first say sidari itself & corfu island were fantastic. my holiday was ruined by the sidari hotel.
this was one of the most unhygenic places i have ever stayed at. there were no lids on some of the bins in the bar toilets so the flies have landed on your s**t then proceeded to the dining room where there was no insectocutor and decided to land on the food.
we all had food poisoning. the hotel was so old fashioned it could have come from albania. faulty towers looked like the ritz compared to this.
although we were all inclusive it was impossible to eat at the hotel as the food was so bad. therefore because we had to eat out we ran out of money by the wednesday of our second week as we had not budgeted for this. you could not even take a second drink from the bar if you still had some left in your glass! i want my money back! olympic holidays have a lot to answer for, this hotel should not have any stars let alone 2 x star. the entertainment was non existant. use this hotel st your peril. i will not be reccomending this hotel to anybody. if olympic holidays customer services reveiw these comments please feel free to get in touch with me.
We have just returned from an amazing 2 week holiday at the Sidari Beach Hotel. There was no aspect of this holiday that you could fault. Kiki, the hotel owner, and her daughter Alex were so friendly and welcoming as were all of the staff. The hotel is fairly basic, but has everything that you need. Set in a beautiful location far enough out of town but near enough for a good night out. I would recommend it to anybody and will certainly be returing.
Me and My boyfriend have just returned from the Sidari Beach Hotel. We had an amazing time. The staff are wonderful and so friendly. It is a 10 minute walk from town, which is perfect as the views are incredible and it can get a bit noisy in town at night time. If you arrive on a day that is a bit cloudy you will be blown away when Albainia appears out of nowhere! I would suggest walking to the west of Sidari and finding the beautiful rock formations and the canal d'amour. I would definatly recommend taking a camera! We will definatly be returning to Sidari Beach Hotel, sooner rather than later we hope. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. We had a wonderful time and could thank the staff enough.
it was the best holiday i'd ever had, good choice of food as i am a very fusy eater, would love to go back tomorrow. 5 minute to beach and main town centre
The price for two adults the week ending September 31st for one week
we just got back on the 16th of september after having a brilliant holiday which was made all the better by the staff of the Sidari Beach Hotel in particular The owner KIKI and her Daughter Alex who were just fantastic with us and treated us as family the bar staff were hospitality itself Genjan and Elisabeth keeping the ball rolling above and well beyond the call of duty I am missing them all already the hotel itself is beautifly clean and has a lovely pool the whole experience for me was just great so much so that I will be booking up for next year definitely same hotel same resort cant wait.

we just arrived back from holiday on 15 th sept 2003 and we stayed at the sidari beach hotel and i can say without hesitation it was the best holiday we have ever had the staff were fantastic we didnt go all inclusive but did eat there once and the food was very good.
entertainment value was excellent, the manager kiki was brilliant and the bar staff outstanding and also cleaners were all very helpful, we all thought it was that good we are already for booking next year this is from frankie and sheila oxfordshire
I think there could be a bit of a mixup in names of hotels. Hotel Sidari Beach is not the Beach Star Hotel. Although it is the next hotel on from the footbridge at the end of Megali Beach. I have had adverse and good comments about accommodation at the Hotel Sidari Beach. Most of the complaints were about the all-inclusive. I have stayed at the Beach Star Hotel many times and also Astoria and private apartments. I would not recommend going all inclusive anywhere as you are restricted and there are too many wonderful restaurants and lots of new greek people to meet while your there.
Im off to the Sidari Beach Hotel in June 03, just wanting to know if it's really ok and if there is much to do both day and night for a 24 year old and his g/friend thanks.
Heya
Am going here in 2 weeks... is it as bad as most of these reviews say? Any info please get in touch @ spark1es15@aol.com
I visited the Sidari Beach Hotel in 2001 with my friend Miriam and we had a great time! The staff were fantastic. The rooms were basic, comfortable, and clean. The food was good and the staff were helpful. The location was wonderful if you like a restful holiday but you could go into to the main centre for a slightly livelier time. The bus service was excellent and we travelled about without the help of tour operators. All in all the best holiday we have had for a long time.
