Theodosia Complex

We had such a great time in the Theodosia Complex in Sept/Oct 2004. Yiannis (Owner) is a very quiet man but if you take the time to talk to him you'll realise he isn't a 'meany'. In fact GoldenSun, our tour operator went bust after 5 days of our holiday, Yiannis could have thrown us out into the street because he hadn't been paid for that season and some of the previous season, but because he had a heart he let us stay for 'free'. I'm so glad he did because it was one of the best holidays I have had. The rooms were cleaned nearly every day (must take your own towels though, the ones they provide are hand towels) and the whole complex was extremely clean. The family that help Yiannis run the complex are very friendly, George took us out for the day and his wife Pipina cooked us a meal in their home, this just topped it off for us. I would recommend this complex to anyone, because I have no complaints about the property and it is in the best location in Sidari, in my opinion, because it is set back from the town, which is a nice short walk away. Keep it up Yiannis and friends!!!

got back from the Theodosia 2 weeks ago, and i had an amazing time. Yanis was about of a grump and i got wrong for the Chairs and Light fixtures getting broke so i don't like him. And when you ordered your food he would just sit and you would be waiting for like 20 mins for a cheese toastie. But Gorge and Pipina and young Yanis were great. So were Diane and Georgina who worked around the pool. Its sad they lots there jobs coz of Golden Sun. It was really nice of our Rep making sure we all got onto the coach even tho she wasn't getting paid for it.
The towels are the best in the world, but the maid was really good, she cleaned the rooms really well and worked hard. The bad thing about the theodosia is the manky dirt track you have to walk up in order to get onto the main road. But i was still go back. It was the best holiday i've been on

We stayed at the Theodosia Complex 13-30 September and could not fault it. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and apartments were extremely clean, with beds made daily and laudry changed weekly. When we were there the bar did stay open until about 2/2.30 am which I thought was an asset as the location is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Sidari. The BBQ night with Greek dancers was the highlight of the week for me. I believe the property will be with another company next year and we would stay there again definitely.

My husband and I are decent middle aged people who enjoy travel and have visited many of the Greek Islands, always staying in studios. Never before have we stayed in a studio where towels were not provided, the bed wasnt changed and the proprietor was so rude. The noise was totally unacceptable as the pool bar is open until at least 3 a. m. Golden Sun make no mention of this. Lack of sleep spoiled our holiday. Golden Sun representatives are worse than useless, both fell asleep on the transfer coaches. I would never use Golden Sun, and all I can wish for, is that they will be honest in the next brochure, and tell future residents of this hell hole that they will need to take their own linen, and ear plugs. This is a good location but has been spoiled by bad management and lack of care for guests comfort. I implore you all, do not go unless you wish to drink yourself into oblivion every day, and not take a shower.

The Theodosia apartments are ok if you get to stay in them. Just make sure that if you travel with Golden Sun that you don't end up in the sub let apartments to the rear of the complex becouse they are owned by someone else and are filthy to the point of being a health hazard. I am currently in the process of trying to get my money back from Golden Sun becouse I did not get what I paid for. If I could post pictures I would

well i just returned yesterday and it was very cool , the ownwers was a bit of a misery but was nice to the kids, aslo watch how he treats the younge girl zuzanna she aint allowed to use the till she does 99% of the cleaning, when the old man has walked round and seen it all then left it , the thing that mad me even more against him was how he would sit watching tv and somone would order food , all he did was yell zuzanna and did nothiing.
there a nother point never book with olimpic whos over the road from theodosia as the coach dont go down the long drive and you have to walk all the way down the poorly lited drive, an man broke his leg down a ditch walkin down there at night.
also is you suffer from any illness that effects walkin in any way i wouldnt recomend this one for you, we called it the narrow desert.

the night life is great loads to do and even mc donalds.
you have to go to a greek night there really good and the people are really nice, ps if you see a likkle gigger cat its called pedrow, erm what else can i say oh yeah hi to all the other people one last point the bar dont shut till the last person leaves

Me and my little sister stayed at the theodosia appartments for 4 weeks last july and it was exellent there was enough to entertain my sister who is 6 and plenty for me (21) and as a added bonus i met my fiance and we are jew to be married in a month. After are next holiday to the complex

Our apartment was excellent (for Greece), cleaned, and rubbish etc. removed every day. Young Yannis was a great lad and had a bit of banter with everyone (especially the young ladies lol).
The place is about 10 minutes away from the main street and about 5 from the beach. Boat hire is available from hourly to daily and a hired car is a must for seeing some fantastic scenery. (visit the Monastery near Petalia and take the smaller roads to Paleokastritsa over the mountain from Sidari).
Weather was warm a sunny most of the time but look out when it rains and watch for thunder and lightening (when it rains, it rains and the lightening storms are fantastic).

Any one been there recently??

We have just got back from The Theodosia apartments after 2 weeks there, my only real complaint was that the towels were only changed 3 times, plus the fact that they only gave us 2 hand towels, however the maid came in everyday to change the bin liners and clean the toilet and mop the floors. I found Yannis the owner to be a quite man, but quite pleasant as you got to know him, although i was very annoyed at him when he picked the stray cats up by their tales, as a cat lover and owner of 4 cats myself i found this to be upsetting. Sidari itself is a lovely place.

I have only just returned from the theodosia apartments yesterday and it was brilliant the place is very tidy and the people are very nice and help you to all your needs!!! A cleaner comes in everyday. Sidari is a beautiful place and has something for everyone i will be returing next year as we all enjoyed it so much! i strongly recommend guys for you to check it out!!!

The Theodosia would be a great place to stay if they removed the Owners they are miserable and make no effort to converse with anyone. Yannis and Theo both received rebates from the Greek Charm School they have as make charm as a squashed Cobra. The towels and sheets do not get changed and are filthy before you even get into your room. I do know what I am talking about we had five rooms and they were all the same. They grounds outside shower collapsed on my son and caused an injury to the back of his head and then we were blamed for the poor maintenance of the place. IT STINKS SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE,

I stayed at the Theodosia complex last year and found it to be one of the best places I have ever stayed in Greece, it was clean, maid service every day, everyone was really friendly, and contrary to what a lot of people have said I found the Golden Sun rep very nice and helpful. I would reccomend these apartments to anyone and will be returnning myself probably next year.

Booked into the Theodosia Complex in Sidari, Corfu any comments would be gratefully received.

I have booked for 14 nights at the Theodosia Complex next year any nfo on conditions of place would be great read complaints about golden sun holidays and flights
