Damia Hotel

,Andy and Charlotte, myself an hubby were there in june, The hotel is beautifull and Damia an family are very nice people. They made us feel part of the family,  We enjoyed ourselves very much , it was very relaxing and are hopeing to go back next year. .

We did not find anything we could complain about and trust me jeff is well known for his moaning .we ate in the hotel a few times and it was always good  The rooms were  very clean the pool fantastic & the welcome was  also fantastic as was the send of . We both have said we want to come back and we will ,sorry damia thats a promise! so once again thank you so much for such a wonderfull time .PS could we have prices for next year.

WOW! We have just returned from a two week holiday at Damia's and could not fault it. This is by far the best appartments we have stayed in (been all over Greece). Having read the reports about the hotel before we went we were a bit worried about the distance to sidari centre but this is not a problem at all. we used to walk in every night which took around 15 minutes and then get a taxi back which cost 5 Euros. On other holidays we generally like to go to the beach but the pool is so big we tended to stay at the hotel. I can not say enough about Damia, her family and staff, they were superb and did everything they could to make you feel at home and enjoy your holiday. Even the hotels entertainment (which is 2 nights a week) was fantastic which got everyone up and dancing ( I dont normally do this type of thing but after 3-4 of Damia's cocktails!). We were lucky to meet some great people there (Hello Magners Crew!). This is the first Hotel I have been to that I would say I would definately go back. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. There is a mini-market literally 5 min walk down the road which is handy to stock up on ya water, food and booze!!!

Hi this is for anyone that has been to damias apartments. I came back from sidari last year stayed in legends appartments and booked up with my friend to come back this year but have booked at damias appartments this time. could anyone tell me how far away it is from the main sidari centre i.e clubs restraunts etc?  would be great  to hear from someone.

We just wanted to say we have stayed here twice this year and we never had any problems.....we will defo be going back next year to see Damia and her family.

There were twelve in our party all of us were ill apart from one member of the group. We believe this was due to the apartments being damp mouldy and foiesty, The pool was never cleaned the whole week we were there plus it never had the pool lights on at night and this is a health and safety regulation that needs to be up held. When we complained about the apartments to the rep Damia was very abusive unprofessional and told the rep to f**k off which resulted to all twelve members of the group being located to another hotel. The hotel is at least a 25 min walk to the main resort on a dimly lit road with no foot path's. For a quiet location it is excellent but that is all that can be said about Damia's. The maid service was virtually none existant, the bin's in the toilet were only empyted twice, the towels were changed once and the main doors and patio doors kept being left open whilst we were out of the hotel and we were on the ground floor. This is one hotel to truely avoid.

WHAT AMENITIES ARE NEAR TO THESE APPTS. RESTAURANTS, BARS ETC. WHAT ARE THE BEACHES LIKE AND HOW FAR FROM APPTS. BOOKED FOR NEXT YEAR HAVE IMADE A MISTAKE?

Don't stay at this hotel the staff are far from friendly and the apartments are far from clean and full of mould which the staff try to blame on the guests and will not change your room no matter how much you beg!!!

I wanted a quietish holiday for just me and my son, Tyler (7). As I had been to Corfu before and found the people friendly and kind, I decided this would be a good place for a first holiday with him. We found the accomodation very good indeed and the staff friendly and helpful. It was a perfect break for me and the boy as we could come and go as we pleased without any pressure to be back for meals etc. The location was ideal as it was neither too close to the town centre to be kept awake all night, and not too far to walk in of an evening. Food, both at the apartments and at the numerous restaurants in town was absolutely excellent. I love Greek food and even got Tyler to try some dishes like moussaka, kleftico and staffado (sorry if the spellings wrong)

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 1 week in August. We booked with Cosmos Holidays at www.cosmosholidays.co.uk and we got an absolute bargain. Since we have been back we have already booked again and have been assured by Cosmos they are still selling Damias for next year. (Got an excellent bargain for next year too!!!)

My self and Julie went to Damias First time in May 2005 and we thought it was absolutely brilliant we also went with Julies  Mum Dad and Auntie who all had the same opinion.

really enjoyed our stay at damias apartments.just what we needed. hotel was very clean and well run by the whole family.we were made to feel welcome and at home.excelent pool and facilities and its worth going just to see the little puppy (Rocky).we will definately return to damies apartments in the future.

Damia's appartments / hotel, This is our 3rd year here and unfortunately this year I have to knock back on the cleanliness, we complained on the 3rd day about the standard of room cleaning, were told to leave it with Damia she would sort it she did she sacked one of the cleaners. On week 2 the towels were only changed once and the rubbish bin was also emptied the once leaving us to empty our own, not what we had come to expect from this complex. There is a local supermarket 500 metres away currently expanding and as we left the shelves were not full but growing on a daily basis. Beware with young children in any of the shops in the Sidari area as hard core porn (dvd's etc.) are on display sometimes next to toys. The compex is a good 25 min walk from the town but a 5 euro taxi ride is well worth the cost especially in the daytime heat. The pool is at the back of the complex so passing coaches etc can not overlook you, this is also a great suntrap area for the late afternoon / early evening. Damia and her family Spiros (husband, also runs the Damia's yard restaraunt in Canal d'mour) mum & dad (Lucy & Dimitri) her four children Dimitri, George, Nicco, & Luki will do their best to make sure you have a fantastic holiday. This year Damia is ending the contract with Cosmos, and going with Sunset and also going solo, she can be contacted on DAMIAHOTEL@YAHOO.gr please bear in mind that she is a busy lady and may take time to respond.

Just got back from a two week hol in Sidari. We had a fab time and thought that Damias Apartments were great. They were clean and the pool was lovely. Damia herself and  staff were lovely too. Big hello to Jimmy behind the bar we will see u soon!

We arrived back from Sidari Corfu on 5th June 06, We stayed at Damias Hotel and wre quite dissapointed with the Hotel and the staff the young chap behind the bar in the evening was very nice and polite, However Damia was quite rude and tended to ignore her guests that didn't have kids or had a complaint. We were asked to report any damage in our rooms asap or we would be charged for it when we left, so when we arrived we found the washing line on our balcony had been ripped off the wall so we reported it to Damia who said that it would be repaired the following day, It was still hanging off the wall when we left a week later. The maid service wasn't much better for those of you who know Greece know that you have to put Toilet Paper in bins provided you would expect these to be emptied everyday for hygeine reasons they were actually emptied every 2/3 days need I say more!!!! The beaches were awful and dirty, we also had a long walk to Bars and restaurants about 40mins going wasn't too bad walking back late at night is not reccommended so we got a taxi back for 5euros it was worth it. The best restaurants were Mythos and Astoria fab food and next to Astoria is a great bar called the Premier Bar owned by Astoria, Staff Fantastic and music brilliant had a great time there with a couple we meet at Damias who felt the same as we did about accommadation. Would go back to Sidari but not to Damias.

hi, my husband and i first stayed with Damia in May 2004 for our honeymoon.  The welcome we received was second to none.  We were SO impressed with Damia, her family and her staff (who are all a credit to her) that we went back in May 2005.  After Damia emailing us to say we can now book direct with her that is exactly what we have done and are going back in August.  Her hospitality is unbelievably and puts english people to shame!! Our first visit was pure fate as our honeymoon had been cancelled by the tour operator at the last minute so we got a late deal (5days before the wedding) and chose Damia. Truly one of the best decisions we have ever made.
