I have stayed at Joy Life many times since 1991 and this year, as always, had a brilliant time thanks to Zoe, Kostas, & Spiros (this year helped by Mikas). Lovely place and lovely people who've worked really hard to make the Joy Life apartments what they are today. I only wish I could stay there forever. If anyone is going give my love to Sophie and her new baby and tell Kostas & Zoe I am practising my Greek every night in the hope of some improvement for next year!
We stayed at the Theodosia Complex 13-30 September and could not fault it. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool and apartments were extremely clean, with beds made daily and laudry changed weekly. When we were there the bar did stay open until about 2/2.30 am which I thought was an asset as the location is a 5-10 minute walk from the centre of Sidari. The BBQ night with Greek dancers was the highlight of the week for me. I believe the property will be with another company next year and we would stay there again definitely.
I was surprised to last the last comments on Joylife as I've stayed there many times over the years - last time being June 2004. As Shaun's recent update photos show Joylife has been extended, new apartments built, has a lovely pool area and a gorgeous bar and dining area. I find the location fine - although I must admit I preferred the view of fields opposite instead of the large hotel, but the tourist industry and companies must take responsibility for that. The walk into Sidari takes about 20 mins but there is an easy alternative of ringing for taxis which come almost immediately and cost about 5 euros.
