Sunshine Apartments

This is a fantastic place to stay - we are going back this year and it will be our 3rd time. Athena, Dimitri, Nicos and Tony are great hosts. The apartments, swimming pool and bar/restaurant area are always very clean and tidy. We have made great friends and keep in touch with them now by facebook. If you want a quiet location, but like having fun then this is the place to stay 10 out of 10 - Even Thomson's gave them a Gold Award in 2010 See you all soon for fun in the sun

Just got back from 2 weeks staying here. Apartment nice, looked over the pool, only downfall with this was being over the bar but it didnt stay open late and was normally closed time we got home.

Can Anyone tell me if the Sunshine Apartments and the Sunshine Resort is the same place.

A really relaxed and friendly place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble for Athena and the family. The apartments are spread out so it doesn't feel cramped. Fantastic food too! Highly recommended and we will not hesitate to return next year.

arived here 18 july - 3 june 2007

will be arriving friday 20th july for two weeks this will be our 5th year running.We all can't wait to see nicos,athena,dimitri and staff.Apartments clean and a good size,pool well looked after by nicos.Food

  what can i say, I have never laughed so much...just ask dimitris! Fantastic holiday, I went there with my teenage children in May 2006, the weather was wonderful and the sights amazing, especially the fire flies during early evening. We were made so welcome, the atmosphere was so friendly...we had great fun met some fantastic people including John Paul, who will no doubt be on X-Factor 1 day! all in all I couldnt fault it, it was so good that my daughter went back the fortnight after with a teenage friend to have some more!!! beautiful scenery, wonderful people and I will be going back one day. Big thanks to Dimitris (Yeeeease hehehe!), Athena and her husband for making our stay so pleasant, and for making sure that Jennifers 18th Birthday will be one she never forgets!

Really enjoyed our time at the sunshine apartments really good location night life and restaurants just a 10 min walk away! Supermarket 2 mins! Food at the apartment was delicious we had dinner there 3 nights and the full english breakfast was so good! Apartments were very spacious and the pool area was very clean and really nice to swim in!  Been home a day and i already miss it! If u want to go to sidari stay at the sunshine!!

My wife, son and I are going to sunshine apartments in september 06 and just want some up to date comments on what the apartments are like and the area. Went to Sidari about 10 years ago and know that it will be a lot different, but also know our 2 year old son will love the shallow water on the beach.

im going to Sidari on the 1st sept and staying in the sunshine studio apartments, are they nice and also what will the weather be like? any info would be great. thanks

we really enjoyed our stay and would like to come again next year. dimitri and family were great apartments were comfortable and clean fantastic location. sidari is a lovely part of corfu and the people are so welcoming and kind missing it back at work crying

We stayed at the Sunshine Apartments in August 2005, we found the complex to be quite small but a friendly atmosphere.  The picture of the pool in the brochure makes it look bigger than what it actually is.  We are used to going to bigger complexes so this was a change for us.  The apartment we had was over looking the pool and the rooms are very big.  Take some extra towels for your room as we was only supplied with 4 hand towels. (not good when there are 4 of you having showers) The owners seem to be quite friendly however on arrival at 8am no one was to be seen. Thought this was weird as we have always been greeted when we have arrived at previous complexes in the past. The Sunshine Apartments are situated in a nice area not far from the main centre.  Sidari is very beautiful and great for families we will defineatly go back but may look at a bigger complex with more activities for the children. Watch out for the moskittos as many people were being bitten we were very lucky as we bought a room spray and sprayed the whole apartment before we went out.  None of us got bitten.  Corfu operates an open house policy for pools and facilities so you may find that you are invaded by large groups from other complexes without pools.  This wasn't to bad at the Sunshine but the pool sometimes got quite busy.  The pool area is quite small and slippery but very clean.  The maids are very friendly and helpful.  Overall we thought the holiday was very good and loved Sidari great food and lots of Amstel.

great place to stay, the family and staff are very friendly,. especially dimitris, "the only g*y in the village". he's a good laugh. i miss my chicken sandwiches, slush puppies, banana splits and playing pool.

Going to sunshine apartments with friend in 2 weeks. We are both young looking for some lively nights but also some quitet ones, hot weather and cheap!Does this fit the bill? Wondered has anyone got a map of the location of these apartments as I am getting mixed messages of where in corfu they actually are?!? Also how far is it to main town?good bar? supermarket? Will we be needing buses/taxis? Any recommendations for cheap food and a good night out? Thanks ally

We've been to the Sunshine Apartments 3 times now (and booking again for a week this year).

We love the place and will continue to go back as often as we can.
