been going to apartments since i was about 5 im 14 now and go every year xx everyone there is like family niki is my greek daddy as he said this year my little girl shouldnt be flirting with greek boys ( even tho there are lush) tom god it was ages ago but he makes me laugh with his bingo making mum check his a big brother xx damitri amazing bar-man funny amazing laughs me and him omg just funny s**t getting push in the pool many times by everyone xx yiannis is my big brother he looks after me and my many stray cats i find seeing him in october yayayay then hopefully living with his family for about a month in summer xx angela she is my mummy she is lovely and a good laugh wen she pushes dad in the pool all the time amazing fun stones throw away from the beach lovely food , staff , and vibe xx amazing receptionist babs xx my other mummy love her loads xxxx :)

Amazing base for the holiday of a life time. Only 16 when I went but some messy nights were had by all. Beach literally 20steps form the pool =) Breathtaking views from the restaurant on the cliff and really good food =)

Came back from our 2nd holiday at the zafiris on 18 august, yet again we thourghly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is posited perfectly, just out of all the hustle and bustle but 2secs away from it with a beatifull view of the canal. The staff are amazingly friendly and special mention to tom, nicky and zafiris himself. Any problems were dealt straight away and the biggest problem we had was a lightbulb not working. Pool/ Pool area is always kept clean and tidy. i'd recommend these aparments to anybody.

Went to the Zafiris in Sep 2006 and had a great time, so much so we have booked for this September.

we stayed at zafiris two years ago and had a great time the apartments were clean and comfortable the food in the poolside bar is good quality, i must admit that i had to smile when i noticed that they deliver food ordered at the saxaphone bar in a van as its about 75metres away (greek version of meals on wheels )

Can only speak for these apartments!!.Very close to a lovely beach .It's a very friendly place and can't do enough to make your stay great.At the bottom of the hill there is the sax's bar .Its about a 15mins walk to the main bit of Sidari.

Thinking of travelling to sidari in July 08 looking for a suitable base we are a mixed group of singles & couples, late 20s 30s, we want to be near the town but not on top of it, near a beach etc, a good Bar at the hotel & reception any location & accommodation information greatly received for fussy me, my Friends priority is The bar’s, Currently looking at Zafiris & Ostria apart, Any advise on Bars & restaurants in the area, trips  etc really grateful

Helooo im 15 years old  and jus been to zafiris apartments for 2 weeks with my mum, dad and best friend. Its the best holiday i've evr had !!!!!!. Zafiris, Demetrius, Spiros, Niki, Yanis and George are amazing (the bar men and waiters)  When we first arrived Zafiris carried are cases and got us a free drink beacuse are rooms werent quite ready which was really nice.

I would go back every year and the greek men are gorgeous !!!!!!!! Even thinking about going to work over there in the summer maybe for my gap year. Deffo think anyone would love it over there !!!!!!  Also go on the beach bbq which is about 20 euros a person bu includes food .. dnt book with the reps go down the road and theres lots of places the book with which saves you loads. Once you have been you wont want to leave ..

we have just returned from our first visit to the Greek Islands and what a good choice it was. The holiday got off to a great start when Zafiris met us at 2am to deliver our luggage to the apartment.When we got up the view from the balcony was stunning, the pool was just across from us and then the sea..all of the staff were really friendly and went out of their way to find out our names , they provided a great service around the pool keeping us supplied with food and drink. A special mention for George, Nicky, Spiros , Kelly and  Dawn in reception who all made the holiday really enjoyable. We will be returning to Corfu as soon as possible and  I don,t think Spain stands a chance against this beautiful island!

Hiyaaaaa anyone gonna be in Sidari between 16th July & 31st July 2007???   I'm 18 & going away wif family sooo lookin 2 meet up wif lotsa lads n gyals 2 do some serious partyiiiiing..........seeya all out there! xXx

We all went last year and booked again this year Above Average well having been to Sidari for many years we would say it is
WELL ABOVE AVERAGE .

We've been home for a few weeks after having a fantastic week at Zafiris apartments.  We went in august last year for two weeks and loved every minute - we were made so welcome -  so we were really looking forward to going there again.  It was great to get off the coach and be greeted by name by Zafiris (the owners son).  It was like going back to see old friends.

Other posts on this thread will describe the place itself, but I wanted to repeat the opinion that the service is second to none.  We've been to other hotels or apartments over the years, but nowhere has come close to the way that the staff at Zafiris looked after us.  Zafiris, George, Nicky and Spiros and the other members of the team really are the friendliest bunch of people you could hope to meet.

We ate mainly at the Kahlua Bar and it was wonderful sitting on the cliff top overlooking the beach and watching the sunset.  There is a wide and varied menu and the food is good.  If you do want a change of scenery, another restaurant I would highly recommend is "Sailors", which is about a 10 minute walk away and is owned by Spiros Vlasseros, who worked previously at the Zafiris.  His restaurant is immaculate and has a varied menu which focuses on traditional Greek dishes.  The food here is excellent and Spiros and his family are great people too.

In conclusion, I can't recommend Zafiris or Sailors highly enough and we hope to return soon.

Zafiras is above average Greek accommodation and the pool area is very pleasant. The 'free' air conditioning was a godsend. The lack of  'curtsey' facilities for late departures was disappointing. The excursions provided by Selini Travel were also disappointing. The trip up the mountain is well worth it for the views but don't go with Selini in the evening. The Monolith taverna they take you to for dinner is absolutely infested with mosquitoes and has overpriced food and drink. The Selini Travel trip to Corfu Town took 2 hours to get there and the same back – it's quicker on the local bus! We also booked a trip to Arillas which Selini Travel cancelled while we were standing waiting for their coach! The Village Taverna is outstanding for the quality of the food. Angelinas and Marias are good value and you always get a voucher for a free bottle of wine for your next visit. They also do a nightly quiz with very generous prizes.

Had another wonderful holiday, we have been going here for at least 10 years now and the reception we receive is overwhelming, Costas and Zafiris and all the staff have made us very welcome every year and probably with all other guests and I highly recommend these apartments, although this year the ants were particularly bad,do take or buy ant spray especially at sunbeds on grass.The greek night is a laugh.Spiros (George Michael lookalike) has now opened his own taverna The sailors, heading to town turn right at three pigs its then not too far on left, wonderful reception, wonderful meals. The Zafiris do wonderful food also especially snacks at poolside, you will want to go back again and again, Yamas

I've just had a wonderful time at the Zafiris apartments with my friend her mum and her mums friend. Even though it was about 3 weeks ago i will never forget it.  It was great. Everyone was really kind and they were always making us laugh. Spiros was always out waiter and he came and chatted with us by the pool. we have even got a picture with him and one of all the staff! I thought it was a beautiful place and i would definately go back there. Thankyou for making it such a good holiday!

Well what can i say apart from My new Husband and I just returned 04/06 from our Honeymoon.  We stayed at the Zafiris Apartments and had a fantastic time.  Hi to George, Niki, Zafiris, Barbie and thanks for making our honeymoon great.  Not only were the staff fabulous but our apartment 509 was wicked it had fantastic veiws of the sea and pool our cleaner came 6 times in the week we were there and cleaned very well. Towels were changed as was the bedding.  The food at the onsite restaurant was excellent we ate there most night also occasionally having a full english in the morning.  The pool was refreshing and the atmosphere relaxing.  The Greek night was the best.  We also went to the sax bar which has a great atmosphere and the decor rocks.  We are booking again for next year and this time taking our little girl.  I really cant understand why anyone would complain as Zafiris is always on the case of any problems. 

Me and my family just got back from Zafiris on Monday (04/06) we had a fantastic time and didnt want to come home.  The people are what make it, Zafiris, Niki, George, Spyro, Dimitri and all the guys are great!!  I have a 2 year old girl and a 4 year old girl, they loved it and loved the people, we couldnt get them out of the pool or the sax bar!  We stayed round the pool most days and ate breakfast/lunch there (which was really good) and then went into Sidari itself on an evening but ended up at the sax bar for a couple before going back to the apartment.  We only had a studio which was basic but everything we needed and close to the pool, we had a bit of a problem with ants the first couple of days but as soon as it was mentioned to Zafiris it was sorted.  Sidari was a great place for kids and we are hoping to be back at the Zafiris in the near future xx

hello my frieds its spiros the george michael loolalike as you normally call me. im not at zafiris this year ive got my own place -THE SAILORS-greek restaurant its as you walk to town turn right at the three pigs 100 metters ferther up it will be nice to see you all again sometime have fun and a nice summer. dont bother asking the boys or the owners the answear will be that im doing painting this year somewere on the island what a nice gues init? thing is i was warking with this people for years. never again.this are some photos of my place. take cair and hope see you sometime.

I OWN MY OWN PLACE AND ITS CALL -THE SAILORS- IM REALLY SORRY FOR PEOPLE THAT THEY HAVE ALL READY BOOKED THE HOLYDAYS AND WONT FIND ME THERE. IVE GOT A GREEK RESTAURANT IN SIDARI ITS AS you WALK DOWN TO TOWN TURN RIGHT AT THE THREE LITLE PIGS 100 METTERS FERTHER UP YOU WILL FIND IT EASY ON YOUR LEFT. PROPER GREEK DISHES HOME MADE PIZZA AND MORE.IF YOU GO AT THE agni.gr web side on the serch bar poot  (any changes to restaurants in sidari ) im a member with my proper name  spiros vlaseros if you go ther you will see some fotos from my place. it will be nice to see you again all. dont be bother ask any of the boys at the zafiris they w"ont tell you. the answear that you will take is that im doing paintig this year cos thats what they have been told to say from the owners. see you soon and have a nice summer where ever you go.
