We stayed in Tzanetos apartment for 1 week after reading comments we were worried we had made the wrong choice, but we didnt need to. Apartment was basic but clean beds made every day, towels changed twice per week. Nice grounds with plenty of sunbeds hammocks and shaded swing chairs, a nice lawned area and swimming pool with a slide.Maria made us feel very welcome.
Does anyone know the adress for tzaneteos appartments site

Stayed at the Tzanetos from 01/08/05 for 14 nights. These apartments are situated in an excellent location close to the beach. However if you want luxury DO NOT COME HERE, the apartments are desperately in need of moderising. The doors don't shut properly, the furniture is old and the bathroom out of date and not very nice. We booked the holiday believing we would get air conditioning included, however when we arrived we were told it would cost £10 euros per night. My advice is dont bother as we found we didn't need it as there was always a breeze from the sea. The noise from the barking dogs every night is terrible and if you dont have a good amount of booze before bed you will struggle to sleep.
We had a great time although the apartment wasn't as well fitted out or in as good a condition as we expected. Barking dogs were a problem at night - as well as the bloodsucking mosquitos. The door lock disintegrating on the fourth night was a real downer and nearly spoilt the whole thing as we were expected to pay for it !!! I know it says you pay for breakages but surely not for wear and tear. Anyway our Rep sorted it out and Argo paid the bill for us - so no problems there.
I liked it here because i met loads of friends who i still keep in touch with but it was ok because We wasnt aloud 2 wash our clothes here, or take our own drinks to the bar the toliet seat was broken and werent aloud in the pool after 8pm. we had a bit of trouble when we firrst arrived in corfu we had some trouble but maria made us welcome so thats why we enjoyed our stay here . x
If there is just 2 people in your party.. DO NOT GO HERE! As much as the apartments look nice on the brochure, you will not get in the main apartments, you will get put in the little huts at the side which do NOT have fully working kitchen facilities and are cramped as hell. The larger families going will have no problems getting the big rooms in the main 3 floor block.. But for 2-3 people you will be dissapointed if you take the brochure literally. As others have said, Maria and Tzanetos are very nice people (tzanetos is a bit creepy sitting in the same chair staring out at u all day) but nice all the same.. Do not go to her 'legendary musaka night' its aload of tosh and bland as hell, theres much better restaurants down the road that cook much better greek food. We spoke to two other parties and their rooms were just as bad, but marginally bigger than ours, but of course u dont spend ur time in the apartment, but it would still be nice to move while in there.. Overall the accomodation is 3/10, the pool and bar aread about 7/10 but Sidari overall probably 8/9 out of 10.. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.. Good place for breakfasts is the Snack bar 2 bars right of tzanetos apprtments for 3 euro's really nice and big portions.. another nice place is the Memories restaurant and the 'big portioned place' does really nice sunday lunches.. But all the supermarkets are generally the same, neither offer more products than the other and rarely differentiate on price.. closer to the main street higher the price i suppose.
Stopped at Tzanetos Apts for the first time in May 2005, Maria and Tzanestos really are great people, Maria can`t do enough for her guests. Went with a friend and had such a great time that we have already booked to go back in Sept, taking my little girl this time, cos the facilities are great for the kids and there is plenty to do around the resort of Sidari. Can`t wait to return.
Maria and tzanetos are lovely, they make you feel welcome, are always there to help, and they join in with the sunbathing at times, the studio & appts are nice. The beach is 2 mins away and restaurants and shops are close by.So if you are staying with them you will have a lovely time.
April and Family can u please send me Mums phone number or your email address send to my e-mail xx thanks xx
I made lots of new friends in Sidari. I loved our apartment. It was neat and tidy when we went in.

No complaints about Tzanetos or Sidari at all, had a fantastic holiday there! Will definitely be back soon!
Second time at Tzanetos. This year with 8 of our family, hope to bring the rest of the clan next year!! We thought Maria and Tzanetos were SUPER !! Hello to Lisa and Darren, thanks for the dancing and hope to see you again soon.
Have just returned from Sidari - our 6th time to Sidari and 2nd stay in the Tzanetos Apartments, which have been upgraded this year with air conditioning which was excellent. Maria and her whole family make you feel very welcome. Five of us stayed at Tzanetos last year and ten this year - no complaints from any of us - all loved it .ALL OF US HOPE TO RETURN NEXT YEAR ! 10/10 FROM US !
have just returned from my second visit with maria and family its still lovely, we had a graet time i feel like im part of maria and tzanetos extened family. hi to godfrey and his family hope to see you all again soon, hi to g*y and coleen hope we meet again too.
Maria and Tzanetos were very friendly and their aim is for you to have a good holiday. Nothing is a bother. My only advice would be to take additional towels as only one towel per person is provided for the week.
Put it this way when i first saw our apartment i cried! the fridge was broken, the shower had no pressure, the decor was brown and depressing and it was ridden with mosquitos!
absolutly superb, maria and her family are wonderful cant wait to return next year! hopefully with friends and family!
Maria and Tzanetos really make your holiday. They are the friendliest people you could hope to meet. I get a phonecall every Christmas to say hello and wish us a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We will be back next year.
