Returned from Sidari on the 4 July after staying at this wonderful hotel. First time we have done bed & breakfast for 5 years. As we have been going to Sidari for 14 years B&B, self catering, halfboard etc we have done the lot. It is a lovely well run hotel with fantastic hosts and staff. You have the added advantage of a lift to your rooms as well as a mini fridge. Cannot fault the complex at all. We have already booked for next year. Can't wait.
just returned from another fantastic stay at the Aphrodite hotel, which is now
TOP SPOT! ESPECIALLY DOWN THE BACK AT THE POOL WITH THE FANTASTIC WAITER GEORGE, WE HAD TWO WEEKS OF EXCELLENT FUN WITH HIM AND SOME OF THEM VERY WET AFTER A FEW BUCKETS OF ICE PUT ROUND US BUT WE DID GET REVENGE BY PIMPING UP HIS MOTORBIKE AS SEEN IN THE PHOTO, BUT REMEMBER TO SAY HASTA LA VISTA BABY, I'LL BE BACK TO GEORGE HE LIKES THE CRAZY FROG IMPERSONATION DONE ON A BMX AS IN THE PHOTO.
arrived back from Aphrodite yesterday, first time we have every stopped there, even though we have been to Sidari two or three times every year for the past six years, it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC so fantastic that we have booked to go back twice next year. Regarding wheelchair access, there was a lady in a wheelchair staying there. There is a ramp into the reception area and providing you are allocated a room on the ground floor of the hotel there should be no problem. You can ring the hotel direct on 0030 26630 95247. Everyone speaks perfect English so you will have no problems. We stayed in a room overlooking the main street, could not beleive how quiet it was at night even though there was night club over the road, which was going on until 6am. I am sure you will enjoy your stay. Want to say hi to Ericka, Yanni, Lesley, Holly and all the rest of the staff there, who made our stay so great,
hi alison, the hotel is smack bang in the centre of town, you couldnt ask for a better location, the beach is litererally on your doorstep to.The only problem is that i dont think its really wheelchair friendly i went in june and i couldnt see a lift, also theres steps at the front of the hotel, that all said its a great hotel very clean, the foods a bit pricey but ok hope that helps have a relly good holiday.
going to aphrodite hotel/sudios in october.can an one tell me is in center?have a wheel chair is the area suitable? is it close to shops, pubs etc.if any one has info i would be greatful if you can email me.

stayin at the hotel on june 12th, does anyone know what the facilities are like in the rooms kettle, fridge etc??
Fantastic George down at the pool provides Excellent Service. An extremely pleasant and funny man. The service we have got over the years has been brilliant. The food is excellent, compliments to the cook, the chip butties are a must, please ask George for one and tell him it was recommended by Mr Chip Buttie Man. Thoroughly recommended for your holidays. We visit twice a year!
We really enjoyed our holiday, got back 29th August 2005. The staff are really friendly, especially Erika on reception. The hotel is very clean and smart entrance and bar. The rooms are clean and basic. We were overlooking the main street but there was no noise whatsover, thanks to the triple glazing! (get air con though! [about £15 a week, well worth it in August!]) Nice pool, really close to the beach. The beach is OK, a lot of seaweed thouhg, niced and shallow to swim in, good for kids. We had a great time (and wish we were still there!)
We stayed in the Studios from the 17th June for two weeks and it was lovely they were basic but clean and everyone made you feel welcome.
As to my previous comment I ment the 31st May
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Afrodite on the 31st June it was really friendly and clean can't fault it, Pool was clean quite deep for kids but have extra bit at the end for them, The pool bar was great food ws really nice and service was great.
I am going to the Afrodite Hotel in July 2005 for 2 weeks. I am taking my two children 13 and 7 years old. Is it a child friendly hotel? It will need to be once they have endured my 7 year old for 2 weeks . I am really looking forward to it so any comments on where to take children at night would be appreciated like the best restaraunts and pubs that cater well for children.
We have just returned from a week in the Aphrodite hotel. The location is excellent, right on the beach, with good views from the balcony over the bay. The food was excellent and the ability to have breakfast sitting on the beach was the best.
The staff were both friendly and efficent, they all work long hours, but have a smile on there faces at all times.
The rooms were cleaned daily. They are basic, but when you are on holiday what do you want.
I cannot recommmend this hotel enough.
GREAT LOCATION - SHAME ABOUT THE PLODDING FLIP FLOPS - WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN THOUGH. DOUBLE GLAZING IS A GREAT INVENTION!!!!
Disregard any comments pre 2004 as it has been refurbished! The rooms are small but clean all the staff are really friendly and helpful. The pool is clean and the food good, it is in a brilliant location really central. You will have a brilliant holiday just like we did!
Afrodite hotel was the best ever!Lucas and Spiros are sooooooooo nice and really nice looking!I would love to go back because its soooo lovely.Anyone who hates it needs brain surgery ergently.Beach is 3 second run to the sea, nice food, nice people very hunky men!Lucas in the bar was gorgeous would go out with him anyday.CORFU ROCKS!!!!

We stayed in the hotel part - it was clean, very friendly and convenient and we would definitely stay there again! The cleaners were excellent, they tidied and gave us clean towels everyday. The bar staff were gorgeous young males which is also a plus point!
We would definitely stay there again!
had a good time, staff very friendly.
We are going to the socrates apartments in Sidari in July.Has anyone stayed there before as I can't find themon the internet?
This place is a dump. The front of the hotel where the bar is situated is very smart but the apertments are very poor. The place seemed to be populated by the type of people who class bingo as a night out and consider dressing up to be putting on their england football shirt. So to sum up avoid if possible
does any know if its an alex working here?
I have been to these apartments 6 times now - I cannot give the staff praise enough! Very children friendly. The only negative comment I could make is that sometimes the music around the pool can be a little loud - but the rest more than makes up for that!
