Good place to stay. We stayed there when we got married in Corfu in July 2004 where the owners were very nice and helpful. A good place to eat, Feta Cheese Special and Pork Chops are a must! Be wary of the house wine as it can make you a little drunk! Cleaner is good but likes to start early in the morning!
Absolutely loved Sidari but these apartments left alot to be desired. In a great location only 15 minutes walk into the centre of town but found the rooms very basic and unwelcoming - no toilet role in site as we arived at 5am!! Didn't expect much for the price we paid but wasn't even introduced to the owner until the last day and the Libra rep was clueless - she didn't know anything about our holiday, the apartments' facilities (eg shower/ luggage room for the last day) nor did she care about our welfare! Very poor people skills. Only used the room for sleeping in - found a lovely pool at the Venus apartments to use only 10 minutes down the road, but felt the acommodation on the other side of Sidari town (near Mimosa and Alkion hotel) to be much more inviting.
We returned from Sidari yesterday morning, 9th July 2005, after spending 2 weeks at the Oassis. The apartments are clean and roomy and (from our top floor front) have a lovely view of the hills on one side and of the sea, coast and, on a clear day, the coastal mountains of Albania, on the other. The only downside was the slightly dodgy electricity supply and the hand held showers (maybe standard in Greece?) but on the whole it was a lovely place to stay and we would return.
you have comments by jackie clare there is a friend with the same name I have lost sight of for over 30 years and would like to contact
can you help ?
we stayed here from the 19th - 26th july 2004, it was good here, but if you have children there is no pool, but on the bright side all the surrounding hotels etc. with pools are free of use as long as you use there facilities, bar, food etc.
i would like to know!
