Hi Sarah,I am writing in response to your questions regarding the Sunflower Apartments. We are returning this year for our 5th visit. Yiannis and Irene are no longer with a tour operator. You can find all the information you need on their website www.sunflower.gr Hope you manage to book your holiday.
can any body tell me who the tour operatoer are. my g=family went 2yrs ago and want to go back but are unable to find them. Please help or if any body knows the direct e-mail address to Irene & Yiannis it would be a big help
Situated on a main road with horrendous traffic noise, impossible to get a good nights sleep, scooters, motor cycles, lorries, buses its like Brands Hatch!! And it starts again early morning. Hot water supply non existent, indifferent owners with a chip on their shoulders
Very basic accomodation but clean.Mosquitoes a nightmare & no screens fitted. Avoid Sidari like the plague its cheap & tatty.
Please ignore the comment below - it is not about the Sunflower but the Alexia Palm Grove Apartments!!!!!!!! The Sunflower Apartments are the best in Sidari!!!!! Yiannis and Irene are superb hosts and great friends of ours. Book early because these are apartments are so popular as many of the guests return year after year!
I am going to the Sunflower Appartments on 18 August 03 with my husband for 2 weeks. Can't find much info on these appts does anyone have any information or opinion on them. Never been to Corfu before and would like to know best places to go.
Lynn
The Sunflower was perfect, is perfect. Have now been four years in a row, just home last night, and about to book up again. Every guest is treated like family. Close to all bars, Tavernas and eateries. Visited all the local bars especially Kouros bar, where Greece is mingled with pure class, staff and owners are a pleasure to spend your time with.
Supermarkets, local shops, beaches are all within a short walk from the Sunflower. You just can't beat it, long may it continue, I urge you to visit Ioannis and Irene, owners of Sunflower.
The apartments are basic but clean, typical Greece.Pool area good no problem getting sunbeds.100 yards from the largest supermarket in resort,10 min walk to start of really nice beach, a walk along the beach to Canal D'Amour is recommended.Resort has lots of restaurants & bars Would recommend "Margarita" Restaurant for really nice food & the "Why Not" bar for a friendly atmosphere. We will be returning to Sidari for the 3rd time soon ourselves
any information would be appreciated
many thanks
