Christakis Hotel

didn't actually stay here but its in a great location if you don't mind the pool being right on the main road, can only book with olympic i think, would definately stay here next year but already booked for takis/maria, doesn't matter though, loved the takis/maria

Me and Steph stayed at Christakis from 21 May 04- 28 May 04 and it was the best holiday EVER!!!!
It was the 1st time Steph had been abroad and she has the holiday bug now! Nikos is FANTASTIC and really made our holiday and we love him! Sidari is beautiful and the apartments were excellent.
WARNING!! Do not visit Albania as it is AWFUL and the 1st thing we saw was a dog on a spit roast.

Me and my boyfriend have just come back from staying at the Christakis Hotel. We can't recommend these apartments enough.
Nicos, Giselle and the cleaner are the most helpful and cheerful people (along with all the locals). Nicos (the barman/hotel manager) works around the clock to make all the holiday makers happy - don't forget to go his BBQ on the Wednesday night, Nicos even does a bit of Greek dancing! :)
Giselle (Bar person/cook) works extremely hard behind the bar and the kitchen, we recommend her English Breakfast! We will be keeping in touch with Giselle as we got on really well with her.
The apartments are in a great location, less than 5 minutes from good supermarkets and restaurants and another 5 minutes onto the main bars, clubs and some more good restuarants. The pool was never crowded and a good sun trap! The rooms were also very clean and spacious, the best we've been to compared to other greek islands' accomodation.
If you have the opportunity to book for the Chritakis Hotel we would say 'go for it'!

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Christakis Apartments this summer and had an excellent time. The location was spot on, some excellent restuarants at reasonable prices, bars supermarkets and the beach were all within walking distance. Anyone going to Sidari, I strongly recommend hiring a boat from the yellow boat company (you'll see them on Sidari beach), it was brilliant, our best day, me and boyfriend sailed around the north coastline, took a picnic, a few bottles of wine, it was absolutely fantastic, a great opportunity for photo's. Our only advise is bring you own toilet roll, we were given 1 to last 2 weeks! Get in the shower before 7pm as from then on everyone in the apartment does so no hot water! And don't drink your own drinks by the poool, even water as Nicos the owner will shout at you!!! Overall a brillaint holiday!

We loved the Christakis Apts, they were clean with excellent storage space and rooms The Manager there Nicos is a star, I have never seen anyone work so hard. The pool was lovely and although in the brochure it states about some traffic noise, we wouldn't let this put you off because it is minimal and compared to the uk totally non existent. The apartments are situated in an ideal location just outside of the main bars and restuarants in Sidari so there is no noise but close enough to walk to bars and tavernas within minutes.

If you stayed there between the 21st -28th May, thanks we had a scream.

Apartments very clean and spacious. Pool Bar OK but Theos who runs it doesn't seem to be bothered about making an atmosphere.
Very near the Canal D'amour area, couldn't have asked for more.

Overall we were very pleased with are stay at the Christakis as it was clean, the pool was lovely and the location was but a minute away from our fave restaurant and a further minute into town. They did not provide toilet roll... the self catering facilities were good... Although we never had any problems i know that other guests had a problem with their shower and toilet facilities :-S

we stayed in the christakis last july it had only been open 2 weeks the apartments are very big and clean the pool is lovely we spent the whole week around the pool as the beach is horrid very dirty the sea is so cloudy so we dident bother with the beach but the resort and the hotel was the best ever dont try to sneak your own drinks in around the pool they are on you like a shot have a great holiday as we did
