we stayed at nostras apartments but went to sellas before going out .safety deposit boxes are free.hotel was fairly quite but staff were lovely.particuarly mimosa very friendly & her 6 year old son was just a typical boy but no way a pest.
This hotel is great.
My husband and I will br staying at the Hotel Sellas on the 27/06/05 with our two children and my parents, as this will be my childrens first time abroad (they are 4 and 7) we are understandably worried about the suitabilty of the hotel that we have choosen for our visit. Any comments concering this wouold be appreciated.
i have just booked a holiday for september 2005 with my husband and daughter, what is this accomodation like and is it true we should take our own towels as they only provide hand towels, we are going bed & breakfast and wondered what the breakfasts were like is it continental or cooked english breakfast and where is the best places to visit while in corfu any waterparks or good excursions you can reccommend!
My friend and I are heading out to Sidari in August and are staying at the Hotel Sellas. Can anyone tell me if they have safety deposit boxes? My friend has started to get a bit panicky as there wasn't any mention of these when we checked again.
And is it true that the towels provided are tiny? Should we bring our own?
i would like to know how much it would cost to stay at sellas apartments next september including flights for 1 week at the last week of the month and flight times and who to book it through
We visited corfu in september stayed in the Sellas. Only thing we can say it was absolutely brilliant, friendly staff (even spiros if you take the time to get to know him, dry sense of humour). Kostas was brill and mimosa the barmaid. Met great friends last couple of days we are all planning to go back next September for 2 wks. Food at the hotel is kinda basic but very good, spag bol, sudjukakia (spicey meat balls with spag or chips). Staff cleaned rooms 6 days a week had sunday off, changed beds and towels twice a week (but take bath towels you only get hand towels), rooms are basic but plenty of cupboard space and guess what coat hangers by the dozen. Have fun
Used the Sellas as Nostas apartments did not have bar or reception. Although Kostas was friendly and outgoing, Spiros needed a course in customer care (very moody). Of an evening, when you want a quiet drink or game of pool, the last thing you wnat is a couple of small Greek kids running around and whinging on! Suggest the bar staff leave their kids at home - you may attract more custom that way!
hi i am due to go to the sellas studios in sidari the first week in sep an anybody say if this is on the same complex as i ant locate it on the web site.
If visiting Sidari, the location of the hotel is superb. It is only a couple of minutes walk to the centre, however off the busy main road. Food supplied by friendly staff is basic, however extremly good value. Rooms were basic and quite small, however adequate and clean. I would recomend this hotel to others. Enjoy
We stayed there in 1998 in the middle of the World Cup. Place was great but the next year it was changing to all inclusive so we went somewhere else in Sidari. If they are still there, Costas and Spiros are fantastic. Accomodation is usual standard, but the Sellas' best feature is its location, which is central for everything. Enjoy we did.
My girlfriend and I will be staying in the Sellas Hotel in Sidari, Corfu next August and would like to know what the accommodation is like.
