My husband and I went to corfu this September. Only one thing we can say it was absolutely brilliant could not fault one thing, excellent food, people, the beach and weather was fantastic. Not much in the way of entertainment for childern, but they are allowed everywhere and have great fun no problem there, but the waterpark was absolutely great. So good in fact we are already looking to book to go back next September for another 2 wks. No problem with kids on the beach they'd get tired of walking before the sea got to their waist but is ever so clean and clear, swim with the fishes.
We visited corfu in september stayed in the Sellas. Only thing we can say it was absolutely brilliant, friendly staff (even spiros if you take the time to get to know him, dry sense of humour). Kostas was brill and mimosa the barmaid. Met great friends last couple of days we are all planning to go back next September for 2 wks. Food at the hotel is kinda basic but very good, spag bol, sudjukakia (spicey meat balls with spag or chips). Staff cleaned rooms 6 days a week had sunday off, changed beds and towels twice a week (but take bath towels you only get hand towels), rooms are basic but plenty of cupboard space and guess what coat hangers by the dozen. Have fun
Sidari is absolutely brilliant can't fault one thing. Good food in Shakers, great greek night and food in The Three Little Pigs and for greek food try The Mythos great for kids to. The beach is safe the kids will get fed up of walking before the water reaches their waist clean and clear you can swim with the fish. They have got a great water park as well. But cheaper to book with local travel agents than with tour reps if you book water park make sure its the biggest as they have a local park to but not so big probably would be better booking this one with reps. Corfu town by night, and kassiopi is great to (local travel agentfor these). Looking forward to next September we stayed in the Sellas Hotel.
