Astoria - (Restaurants in Sidari)

Keith W

The food was lovely but, this proved to be the most expensive restaurant we used during our two weeks in Sidari.

Shakers Bar - (Bars in Sidari)

Served lovely breakfasts. Great place for footie matches, apart from the annoying fat pie eater who supports Man U.

Nosta Apartments - (Accommodation in Sidari)

Keith W

Although there was no bar or reception within the apartments, the Selas Hotel (20 Yards away) does. The Apartments were superb! Downstairs bedroom, kitchen, loo and balcony, upstairs shower/loo, bedroom and balcony. Maid in everyday but Sunday - very clean. All apartments overlooked central pool. Never a shortage of sunbeds and handy for all pubs/restaurants. Try Fagin's for friendly service from Vinnie and co.

Sellas Hotel - (Accommodation in Sidari)

Keith W

Used the Sellas as Nostas apartments did not have bar or reception. Although Kostas was friendly and outgoing, Spiros needed a course in customer care (very moody). Of an evening, when you want a quiet drink or game of pool, the last thing you wnat is a couple of small Greek kids running around and whinging on! Suggest the bar staff leave their kids at home - you may attract more custom that way!

Corfu Town by Night - (Corfu Excursions)

Keith W

We visited Corfu town via a boat from Kassiopi. The town of Corfu was very busy with people and traffic. We visited a bar for a drink and we ripped off straight away (10 Euro for small beer and two cokes). Restaurant in town square was our worst meal of the holiday. Within the restaurant area, the pregnant dog was watching the cats and the cats were watching the pigeons. It did not help that some silly tart was feeding all of them! The waiters were more interested in chating up the local talent, than taking out order. When the food came, starters and main course all arrived together, it was all microwaved and mostly inedible. The shops were very expensive compared to Sidari. The return boat trip was the highlight of the day, with the flashing lights and stary sky. Save your money!

Sidari - (Resorts on Corfu)

Keith W

We visited Zante (Laganas) last year and chose Sidari this, thinking it would be alike. Unfortunately, the beach was covered with, what looked like, rubbish, but did not stay long enough to find out. The resort itself offers loads of bars, restaurants and shops but, conpared to Zante, is much more expensive. Try The Two Brothers restaurant in Canal D' Amour area for the best food at best prices.
