Louisa Apartments

hey went to louisa apartments last year in july and had a brilliant time- excellent weather, friendly staff, extremely clean and large room and quiet location. a short walk to restaurants and bars - try cactus jacks on the bridge for tasty mexican food!

We are coming to the louisa in september, 2006, we have never been to Corfu before, don't know what to expect, always been to Spain and majorca. How far from Sidari are the apts? Do we have to bring our own towels? Is the weather good in September? Which excursions would you recommend especially island hopping can you go to Zante from Corfu?

we have just returned from another 2 weeks of heaven at the louisa, I don't think there is a more friendlier place on Corfu. When we arrive there are hugs and kisses from all the staff, they remember you from one year to the next.You can trust all of them, nothing is too much trouble for them. The rooms are cleaned daily as is the pool and surrounding areas. I don't want to go anywhere else for a holidays. Hey kim who has just been to lousia, i thought it was a great place, louisa the rec was so lovely was spiros and christos still there as well as sienna and her lil baby!

stayed at the louisa august 2005 for two weeks. christa the receptionist was very friendly ,so were the bar and snack bar staff.they do breakfasts and snacks and dinners very reasonably priced.the pool is clean and the grounds are being well kept constantly.it is very peaceful as it lays back off the road a bit,but a warning about the uneven path just before you go onto the louisa path/driveway,it is very uneven and i still have the scars on my leg! please be careful .there was a hairdryer there which was good as i didnt pack my own. .the cleaning was very basic .making beds and sweeping floor and emptying bins.after the first week we were up to our eyes in dust and had to do it ourselves,the apartments are very basic and dont expect to much but i think this is quite normal for corfu.overall we had a good time there,oh and the balconies are open plan which i found strange as you have to share ,it turned out alright though as we got on well with the family next door and sat out late of an evening and had a drink with them..overall the louisa was okay and we enjoyed our holiday there.

Have just got back from a 2 weeks at the Louisa Apartments and we all loved it.  The apartments are in a great place in the Canal D'Amour area with some lovely beaches but also only a short walk away from the main part of Sidari if you like the more noisy nightlife.  The apartments themselves are set just back off the road, surrounded by lots of restaurants and 2 or 3 supermarkets.  Also some great bars.  Some lovely places to go either with or without children.  There are 2 blocks of apartments, ours was spacious and overlooked the pool.  Maid service 6 times a week.  I would certainly recommend the air con which worked out around 50 euros for the 2 week stay.  People at Louisa are friendly and the whole place is lovely and clean. Will certainly be going back.

Was there many shops near the apartments? People have said about bars and restaurants etc but no mention of shops.

Hey everyone, i know quite a lot about lousia been a few times it was ace, yer they have showers in the rooms no baths thou... and also the deposite boxes are in the main recpetion... its a fantastic place.

We have booked to stay at the Louisa Apartments in Sidari in July 05 and wonder if anyone knows if there is a safety deposit box in the room.

Are bath/shower towels provided in the rooms. does anyone have the e-mail for the louisa apartments ?

i have come back from louisa 3 days ago the weather was lovely me and my friend went, too 18 year olds and it was brill. the apartments were clean the staff was friendly, we are planning to go back in just a few weeks its ace!!!!

Heya yer they have all of that i went last year and they had hair dryer kettle i am goin again in july 05!! lovely that time and the staff are wonderful might even see u there what dates u going from and till

I have booked 2 stay in Louisa Apartments in July 05. I was just wondering if there is a table & chairs, an electric kettle & a hairdryer in the room? Any comments on Sidari itself also interested.

We stayed at the Louisa apartments 2 years ago and thought it was absolutely wonderful, the apartments are spacious and very clean, the pool area is very nice and papa, louisa,cia, spyros and Maria are lovely people, we have been back to sidari 3 times since but have not been able to get back to Louisa's as they were fully booked, but this year we booked early enough so are going back on the 10th june 2005, can't wait. Bye the way Spyros and maria now own their own restuarant a bit further down the road called Asterior, the food is wonderful, the best food I have ever had in Corfu, apparently they have employed the best greek chef all the way from England.Out of this world.

nice clean appartments, all staff polite & friendly, maids come in every day except wednesday, very trustworthy. Appartments have a hob with two rings also they have a little mini oven which could be used as a toaster, they also provide a kettle. you can get air conditioning payable at reception i think its about 50 euros for two weeks.there are plenty of bars, restaraunts, supermarkets, within 5 mins walk,the louisa is about 15mins walk from sidari centre, if you like it even more lively!

They have a hob with 2 gas rings, a microwave, toaster and fridge. Air con is available, for 30 euros per week, and it is so worth it!

also what does the kitchen equipment consist of eg toaster?

These apartments were fantastic, clean, staff very very friendly and helpful, maids very trustworthy, pool and poolbar was great, food was lush, varied choice at extremely reasonable prices. Near all amenities, supermarket a 5 minute walk away, pubs/bars/tavernas/restaurants all in walking distance, but it is not too noisy.

All in all, a great place to stay. The address is Peroulades - Corfu - Greece. At least that is what is on the back of the postcard!

This was the most fantastic holiday ever abroad, the people in the apparments were so friendly the staff were so helpful and always welcoming, the kids club put on a fantastic magic show which was great and the bbq on saturdays are not to be missed will book again for next year!!

Really nice apartments and pool area, friendly laid back atmosphere. Children enjoyed the kids club. Very quiet and relaxing and within walking distance to beaches, bars and restaurants. Stayed there in 2003 and booked again for 2005
