Our family stayed at Paradise appartments in August 06. What a great time we all had. beautifully apartments which were cleaned every day. Whole complex was spotless.
we just got back from two weeks in sidari we did not staay at the paradise but our friends and family did the hotel and rooms were great but the staff were miserable and very unfriendly this hotel is advertised as child friendly but we felt the staff were watching our kids all the time and shouting at them for the least little thing the bar staff did not know how to smile and were not very welcoming at all as i would not recommend staying here unless they employed new staff
my family and i are going to the paradise apartments in august 07 and would find it helpful to have there email address and also any photos of the hotel. thanks in advance
WE STAYED AT THE PARADISE APTS FOR 2 WEEKS AT THE END OF JUNE GOING INTO JULY.THERE WAS GROUP OF US AND WE HAD A FANTASTIC TIME .WE HAVE BOOKED UP FOR NEXT YEAR ALREADY.THE APTS ARE SPOTLESS ,THE STAFF ARE SO KIND AND HELPFULL, ITS IS CLOSE TO EVERYTHING AND YET YOU DONT HAVE ALL THE NOISE OF BEING IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.MY HUSBAND AND OUR FRIENDS HIRED CARS WHEN WE WHERE THERE ,I WOULDNT SAY ITS EASY TO DRIVE OVER THERE AS SOME OF THE ROADS ARE SO NARROW AND THE SPEED SOME OF THE CARS TRAVEL AT IS JUST MADNESSS.WE HAVE DRIVEN THERE BEFORE SO WE KNOW THE ROADS ANYONE WHO ISNT TOO SURE WOULD FIND IT DIFFICULT.SIDARI IS A STUNNING PLACE TO STAY IN THERE IS A LOT TO SEE IF YOU TAKE THE TIME .THE ONLY PLACE WHICH HAS A LITTLE BIT OF A SMELL IS ALONG AT THE CANAL D AMOUR AND THAT IS ONLY AT THE CANAL.THE BEACHES ARE STUNNING THERE IS SO MANY LITTLE COVES ITS GREAT.ONCE AGAIN GREAT PLACE FOR FAMILYS OR ANYONE.
Me and my wife are going to sidari in a couple weeks and we've heard that it smells because of all the sewage systems around that area and the beaches are small and over crowded.Any information given to us will be much appriciated as this is our first holiday to greece.
the paridise apartments are the best i have ever stayed in they are so clean because the cleaners are there every day and the food is excellent there is a numorus amount of entertainment on nightimes the pool is really good and is cleaned every day
basicly evry thing is just excellent in my own rating it gets 12 out of 10hi we are going to sidari at the end of september can any one tell me if the atm's charge for cash withdrawal i have a nationwide cash card they don't charge
I have just been to sidari and i have booked again for a months time to stay at Paradise apartments, was wondering where it was in relation to where i stayed last time..... is it near the Red Lion Pub??
Quite disappointed really. Been there before and the atmosphere which once was has gone.
I have never stayed at the Paradise apartments but I First visited
Hi, im just back from paradise apartments and i was wondering if anyone has the telephone number for there? im going back again in august because it was soo... good. highly recomended! email me at l.wight@johnstonfinancial.co.uk
The hotel is really nice, it's all very clean as is the pool. You can also use the pool next to the paradise apts (they are sister hotels). The guy who works the bar there (Nick) is really friendly. We didn't find the girls at the Paradise as friendly, but they were nice enough. I think the overall food is below averge, but we found 2 great Chinese restaurants and if you have a chance to go to9 the 3 Brothers Hotel A La Carte - fantastic, champagne cocktails are yummy! The beach in sidari is awful!
following statement should be excellent not average
just had a week out there & had an excellent time. The apartment was cleaned every day (Except Sunday) & it was equipped with every thing we needed. You dont need to take any food stuff with you as there is a few stores nearby that have all the shopping you would need. (dont forget something to wash up with). The staff were really nice & friendly & the food was good in the pool bar & in the restaurant next door. The kids club was good as well, my 8 year old had a brilliant time, staying up till gone 11 one night, playing games with the reps, while we went out for a meal on our own. Would definately recommend the paradise to any one. The only down side were the damn mozzies, all three of us were eaten alive one night, so we went out & bought a plug in repellant thing which seemed to help.
great!
We have just come back from the Paradise Apartments, and I have to say that we had a brilliant time. We stayed in the 2 bed roomed apartments (with the "whirlpool bath"), they where extremely clean, and I have to say quite posh, the bathroom especially, though unfortunately there was no Whirlpool. There was a huge balcony which overlooked both pools and you could also see the Sea (Just!). The apartment also had a very large kitchen/dining area which was pretty well equipped with a cooker, 2 rings, kettle and all utensils and pots and pans. Although we didn't really eat in the apartment. Paradise restaurant is lovely, all the staff are really friendly and you also get a 10% discount on your meal and the food isn't half bad either!! The location of Paradise was also a major plus point, you are literally a 2 minute walk from the town with all your pubs, clubs and restaurants. The nearest beach is also just over the road, although its not brilliant however, if you walk another 2 minutes you will come to the better beach with all your water sports etc. you will also find on the beach loads of restaurants which are all lovely cos you can eat day or night with views over the sea. The only downside is that most restaurants have exactly the same menus. As for excursions, we went on 2 of the boat trips which where really good and so was the water park. There are 3 water parks 1 in sidari, 1 about 20 minutes away and the one which we went to "Aqualand" which was about 1 hour away by coach, but it was worth it. We also went on the Greek night which wasn't brilliant and a bit over priced, I wouldn't bother if you have kids!! I think its fair to say that you can do as much or as little as you like in Sidari and you will absolutely love the Paradise Apartments I would certainly recommend it and definitely arrange to stay there again!

I had such a good time it was the people who made my holiday as well as the hot wheather IT WAS SOOOO GOOD I REALLY DIDNT WANT TO COME BACK HOME!!!! Im very jelious of any1 who is going to the paradise hotel and hope you have such a good time as i did!
One last thing, you have to pay extra for air conditioning in your room. 70 euros for the two weeks or you can hire a fan for 30 euros. I hired a fan and it was more the sufficient.
My family and myself had the most wonderful two weeks at the Paradise Apartments. The complex is well maintained and very clean. Each room has a TV and hairdryers are available!! Staff are so friendly and entertaining. Will more than likely return next year. Few little down sides: Lifts rarely worked and charges for broken items i.e., crockery, toilet seats, were a bit extreme. If your off to the Paradise, I'm very envious, have a great time!
I have just returned from there with my parents & 3 brothers. I can onestly say that the resort is fantastic! The appartments are FAB! and all the staff are nice! The pools are always kept clean and so is the rest of the complex. We spent most nights at the Paradise restaurant which shows how good it is. All the staff are nice & up for a laugh ecspecially those in the bar! There is nothing i can fault !
Have you any pictures on the paradise appartments in corfu sidari
we have just booked 2 weeks at paradise apartments from 27th sept 2004 we have booked a studio apartment is it correct that all rooms have a hairdryer and a tv thanks
After just returning from sidari i can hand on heart say that the paradise apartments was amazing..Myself my wife and our two year old son enjoyed our stay thoroughly. From Nick at the poolside bar to thomas in the paradise bar, the loopy but excellent cleaners who always had a smile and left us lots of unusualy pleasant surprises in our rooms. The local town was great with lots to see, lots to drink and lots to eat at reasonable prices. Even a bar that showed my wife her beloved Eastenders, emmerdale and coronation st. Well worth a visit and we will return to the paradise apartmens..
The voice at thomas's karaoke night
Try Corfu in May-time, this is when the fireflies are out & about at night & probably one of the most beautiful things I have seen. They hang around the grassy areas so keep your eyes peeled.
We were the very first people to stay in the paradise aparts in May 2003 & having holidayed then lived & worked in Corfu for many years I found that there is no place like the paradise. All staff were great, the rooms were fantastic, I have never in 20 years of visiting numerous places in Corfu found anywhere that even comes close to this place. Superbly situated, good food, great people, excellent rooms (which are double glazed so any noise doesn't bother you) & 2 clean pools. We have 3 kids of 8, 13 & 15 who were all very happy with this place. What more could anyone ask for.
We have just returned from a two week holiday from these apts, and my family and myself could not fault them in anyway.
I have teenage daughters and a young son and they found so much to do.
Fab entertainment inc kids clubs, friendly staff, clean modern rooms, play area for my son, the two swimming pools were lush and they had sunbeds all around, pool bar, snacks, large tv, the list could go on and on.
We recommend these to anyone.
The Paradise resturant is brilliant, with reasonable prices and excellent food, we ate here most nights, we found it the best and 10% discount, greek dancing made it special!!!
Would definatly book here again if i went back to Sidari!!!!!!
After having a year break from holidaying in Sidari after 12years of goin continiously, I was amazed to see how good these apartments looked-last time we went they were just beginning to be built! Went and stayed there in May and they were really nice!
Im returning in August although stayin at Garnavos not here, but I would stay at the Paradise again!
O an Gemma..If ur tlkin bout Costas at the poolbar, he no longer works there.
hi myself and my family have just got back from corfu (may 2004) we did not stay at paradise although we did eat at the paradise restaurant most nights, we was a little disapointed at the apts we stayed at and on the last day we went for a look around the paradise grounds which r very nice with two large pools and a kiddies play area.
the manageress was kind enough to allow us to look in some of the rooms and we was so impressed that we have now booked for 2005 already rooms r good size with proper showers (some even have spa baths) they r very very clean with tv and air con in all rooms and we cant wait to go back there nxt summer .
I am going to the paradise apts.in july, can anyone tell if the air conditioning has been fitted yet and where are the best places for a young family to visit.
The paradise hotel is an xcellent place to stay on holiday!!!!

Great holiday, myself and some friends went to these apartments last year in august, there was a group of 20 of us! i thought the accomadation was excellent and the staff very friendly!
There were only a few problems but these dont apply to everyone, in the second week of my stay i got bitten over 100 times in one night all over my arms and back, this didnt affect the fun i had thought! also there is a lift which led up towards our apartment which was on the top floor, this lift broke twice while we were inside, both times we were saved by the staff but there aint no air conditoning or anything inside!
I have a few pictures on the following address.
WARNING the following pictures are not just of the apartment althought alot of them are taken inside and out they contain myself and friends ont he photos.
Website www.the-mpc.co.uk/pics.htm the page you will see will contain a picture of my friends and myself stood near the bottom apartment!
My husband and I went to corfu this September. Only one thing we can say it was absolutely brilliant could not fault one thing, excellent food, people, the beach and weather was fantastic. Not much in the way of entertainment for childern, but they are allowed everywhere and have great fun no problem there, but the waterpark was absolutely great. So good in fact we are already looking to book to go back next September for another 2 wks. No problem with kids on the beach they'd get tired of walking before the sea got to their waist but is ever so clean and clear, swim with the fishes.
I came back from The paradise apartments last week and i enjoyed every minuite we were at the apartment, Althought i didnt enjoy the bars as much i thought the pool bar had a great atmosphere at night and the staff were very friendly. I definatly hope to go back there in the future, I recomend paradise to everyone who wants a good family holiday. The maids cleaned out room every day except sundays (there day off) and changed the sheets and towels 3 time a week. The only problem i found was the air conditioning.
My family and I are going to Sidari in June 2004, has anyone any info on the Paradise Apts, and any info on places to go etc. I have 2 children aged 12 and 8, is there enough for the children and are there any places recommended for them. Any info would be gratefully received thenks jen.

I have recently returned from the Paradise Apartments and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The apartments themselves were extremely clean and had in my opinion excellent facilites. I understand from the owner, Kosta, that he had originally planned to open the apartments for the 2004 season, but was asked by JMC to open this year - hence the reason why the air con has not been fitted, etc. Fans can be hired from reception and also shops within the resort centre. My friends and I will definitely return and I believe that any one who has booked here will not be disappointed.
The appartments are very good size. Everything worked well (except we got locked in the room twice because of a dodgy lock, repaired by staff with tin opener!). Need more coathangers - take plenty with you. Cooking via two rings above a small oven/grill.
Bathroom well done out. Plenty of hot water in evenings for showering. Just enough furniture in room. Cleaning is matter of luck. Our first week, it was brilliant, but the second week let the hotel/apartments down badly. Balcony reasonable size and wonderful pool view.
It is a great pity they didn't fit air-con. No movement of air in evenings meant a very hot arrival back in the room and the fans can only move this hot air around.
Disappointing to have the pool overtaken by children's ball games in second week - we were told that these are reserved for the Garnavos Apts. pool. Wonderful pool though and not much reserving beds at the crack of dawn!
Bar not that expensive, though the Karaoke is better elsewhere. Don't miss the Greek night on Saturdays. Eleni on Reception is very efficient and friendly.
Message for Vanessa James Re banking facilities . We returned from our holiday at the new Paradise apartments we had a great time everything lovely and clean and new . downside no air con . my husband Steve will e mail pictures asap as requested. We had no problems with cashpoints using at least 3 different ones while there. travellers checks can also be exchanged at the Paradise Reception Leni who is the Mangeress their along with all the staff are very helpful and their English great .Dont forget to find the fan hire shop on arrival as you will definatly need it Also take take plenty of insect repellant
We came back from a fortnights holiday at the Paradise Apartments on 5th July. The apartments are brand new, and very clean, the building work is more or less finished except that none of the upper balconies had roofs on. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING yet, and this made evenings uncomfortable. All the staff were very nice and helpful, the cleaners were very thorough and honest. All the rooms were excellent with adequate cooking facilities, toilets and showers were perfect, all the rooms overlook the pool.
Our only concern is that all 3 of our children contracted ear infections whilst there. So if taking young children please beware or take out adequate insurance.
Have a good time.
We have just returned from a fortnight's stay at the paradise Apartments (actually called the Paradise hotel on the sign over the reception). The hotel was only opened in May 2003 and so we were one of the first occupants of our apprtment. The specification of the hotel was good but due to haste to complete the building in time it could be seen that some building work had been ommitted including canopies for top floor terraces (no shade), no guttering (only a problem if it rains) and most significant NO AIR CONDITIONING (although mentioned in the brochure but will be connected up this winter).
There was a problem with the Paradise swimming pool due to chemical residues which were affecting some young children but this was fixed by the time we left (23 June 03).
Some people in our party had digital cameras and have promised me a CDROM with all their photos so If anyone would like to see some realistic pictures of the hotel inside & out, please email me [steveharvey at dsl dot pipex dot com] and I will email you some pictures.
Has anybody got any info on paradise apartments? We are not going until june 2004 but would like to know if there is anything we should know about these apartments.Went to Zante last year and were told we were staying in brand new apartments but they were not new at all. Can anyone help?
