Sunshine Apartments

Stayed at these apartments for two weeks in july 04 and was very very pleased. Was very spacious and clean and our apartment was right in front of the pool, the owners are very friendly especially Dimitris he's hysterical! And helpful as he removed a GIANT cricket from our room! We are coming back to Sidari in September but unfortunatly are'nt staying here however we will come and say hello.
P.s (Dimitris we will buy those huge lolly's again as u were so funny with those)! xxx

just arrived back from a weeks stay at Sunshine apartments (fri 6th to fri 13th) with my friends Kelly and Heena. We had a lovely week and were warmly welcomed by Nikos and Athena and Dimitris . Thank u Dimitris for the coffee and lemon juice when i was extremely "poorly" after a heavy night on wednesday! and the ice cubes were very .............refreshing!! hope to come back and visit u all again

brilliant can get a little bit chilly the aparments are very clean and tidy and the owners are very nice and thier is a lot to do over thier such as the catapult and the restraunt cinema

For the 4th year running we have been to the Sunshine Apartments, and not only was it as good as previous, it was even better. This may have been due to the impromptu dancing by owners Nikos & Athina after each game Greece won in Euro 2004, but even so it is fantastic and by far and away my favourite place on the planet.
Yasoo to all the Fragis family (Nikos, Athina & Dimitris) from all at the Kenny family. Have a cold Amstel waiting for me in June next year.

the sunshine apts are excellent albeit slightley far out for my tastes, long walk to town in the swealtering heat!. but dimitri (owners son) made it worth while very funny throws you in the pool at any oppotunity whether your dressed or not!..throws glasses of ice over the sun bathers!>.howvere he did get him c*muppence and was thrown in pool fully clothed by some lads on our last day...the best room is 10, massive detatched clean bungalows within steps of the pool and bar. sidari itself is wonderful...listen out for the resident donkey across the road wakes you up at crack of dawn!...well worth a visit!

Me and my boyfriend came back from Sidari on the 11th june 2004. It was nice and relaxing, Athena and Nicos were lovely, they made us feel welocome. Our room was really clean and the made was very pleasent. We loved it and we are returning next year and can't wait. Leanne and Jeffrey.

Stayed at the Sunshine Apartments in July 2001. The room was average and the shower was very rusty. The owners were quite rude and unhelpfull and you constantly had the feeling they were talking about you. Apart from that Sidari was brilliant and spent most of the time at Zafaris Apartments.

tony,try the hidden walk.opposite the appartments there are ruins overgrown with olive trees,there is a path through onto a higher path which leads up a farm track,through fields and onto the clifftops.the view is amazing,and the sea is very clear.howver,the path is quite a gradual climb out in the open sun so be very cautious!care to be taken at the cliff edge also,very open and very high,no way a place for kids to run about.worth the walk for the views and the seclusion.

we stayed at sunshine appartments in may 98 and we had no complaints it was our 1st holiday abroad we took our grandson & my mum we had the appartment by the pool, hired a car and visited many other resorts, shops are nearby beach 5 minute walk, the owners are very freindly what more can you ask for. we are planning to go back soon

year after year the standard remains very high,anthena and nicos provide a high standard of accomodation,food,friendly and relaxed surroundings.the main entertainment is heralded by the arrival of there son dimitri who is currently at uni,he provides hours of fun 4 kids and adults alike,just keep ur eyes open when hes prowling with ice cubes!roll on august!

We stayed at Sunshine from 11 Oct - 18 Oct .Weather was good and accomodation was lovely. Athena and her husband were very friendly.

WE STAYED IN THE COWSHEDS WITH SARA CHRIS AND JANE THE COMMENTS THAT SARA SAID WERE TRUE.PLUS WE HAD LITTLE VISITORS IE 1 SNAKE SEVERAL LIZARDS ANDHUNDREDS OF MOSSIES.BIT 2 DEATH.APART FROM THAT WE HAD A GOOD TIME TAKE BATH TOWELS WITH YOU AS YOU ONLY GET HAND TOWELS TO SHOWER WITH HI TO SARA CHRIS AND JANE

did any one stay in the cow sheds.the staff are not nice .and what is it with the hand towels .some of the apartments was nice. just not the one at the back so if u do book this holiday make sure u are not staying in the cow sheds lol .the beach is one big toilet . be warned about the bridge .u will smell it before u see it

Got back last week from Sidari and I've got to say that the our
appartment at Sunshine were brilliant value for money. Its
located in a quieter area of Canal d'Amour but only a stones
throw from the bars and restaurants and a nice leisurely walk to
"the strip"
Nikos and Athena are lovely and make your stay as easy as they
can, plus the food is a very good quality.
The room itself was clean and the cheerful maid visited every
other day of our stay.
The pool area was also clean and there was enough loungers
for everyone. The pool was also of a good enough size to not get
over crowded and disturb the childrens area.
Overall I think i'd give it 9 out of 10 and will definately think of
returning in the future.

We have just arrived back after staying at the sunshine appartments for 2 weeks,nickos @ athena were very nice and friendly and always helpful.The appartments were spotlessly clean,and the cleaner was always happy to help too thanks clarece.dimitris there son came back from uni the second week we were there and really livend the place up.the restraunts nearby were good and always had smiles for you.and with me,my wife and 8 children is always a nice sign.whoever is going to stay at the sunshine appartments this year you'll have a whale of a time.ROB & TINA.

it was fantastic the staff were very polite it was clean very good pool i was in it every day lets just say about quietness it wasn't quiet when the robinson family was there dimetras was my best mate he was the best member of staff there only becouse he kept giving me free biscits to make me shut up he wanted to keep me to batter me thanks to nicolas&athena including dimetras it was the best holiday yet from jason

Ive read the comments about the Sunshine appartments, has anybody been there this year 2003
and have any further comments?
We are going there for a fortnight in Aug. and would appreciate any further info.
Also does anyone have a map showing the location of the Sunshine appartments in relation to local Bars/Restraunts/shops and also to Sidari centre? I found a town map of Sidari itself on an other website (http://website.lineone.net/~jflynn12/sidarimelitsamap.htm) but it doesn't appear to extend to the area around The Summertime appartments can any one provide a map? Thanks, Dave W.

the staff were friendly and it was in a great location as we was only a mintutes walk from the bars and restaurants. i also recommend people to go to the water park 'aqua land' as that also was a excellent experiance. The main beach was not as nice as the smaller ones to the left which included a cave for you to swim through.

We stayed there last year and visited this year far enought out to be quiet yet close enough to the centre also have the hawaii bar very close excellent food excellent value and excellent service aprtments very cleam spacious and well sited pool very good owners very friendly also have a fan rental service for the peak of the season

For Bob (and anyone else) For the last 2 years my family and I have stayed at the Sunshine Apartments and I have to say "you lucky bugger". The accomodation is great, the pool clean, the bar reasonably priced (except for English snacks, i.e quavers for the kids) and the Amstel is cool and long. The couple who own and run Sunshine are Nikos and Athena, and when he is home from university their son Dimitris. Nicer people you will not find in the whole of Sidari. Sunshine's only drawback is the walk to the centre of Sidari, but when you have the restaurants, bars, beaches and shops in the Canal d'Amour area within less than 10 minutes walk who cares. ENJOY.
