On behalf of all the staff at the San George Hotel in Sidari we would like to thank you all for your lovely heart felt comments.
well what can i say, this year will be our fourth time at san george, and it just gets better n better,we will be bk june 18th 08.achilles and george in fact they all treat you with the utmost respect, everything is conviniently priced and nota makes fab food, try the moussaka mmm .well matey if you reading this see you soon love you all. sammy julie and girls.trips are better off booked in town behind three pigs.we have never been let down yet and done every trip,if you looking for a late night try shakers top nite for all.
The San George is situated a 15 minute walk outside Sidari in stunning green countryside. A handful of shops are nearby and the best Tavermas in Sidari are located on the walk in to Sidari village. San George pool and area are spotless and the rooms are a good standard. George organised the entertainment when we were there in July - Greek Night, Quiz Night, Kareoke and Bingo. Mamma provides an appertising food menu and you really do not need to venture far from the poolside all day as the atmosphere is so relaxing. We would definitely return to these apartments, possibly the best we have stayed at in the past 18 years of travelling to the Greek Islands - Kos, Zante, Crete, Rhodes and Santorini.
Hi ya,
I have been to corfu 3 times now and have stayed in sidari all times and twice at san george.each time i have been given a fantastic welcome by the staff at san george and been welcomed into the family ,george is a young man who will bend over backwards to help anyone and entertain people, achilles well what a gentleman he also will go out of his way to help and entertain you and ypur family,as will his mum who loves kids and is always giving them little treats.i am dis appointed that i,m not going this year, and hope too go back next year.i recomend these apartments highly.
So sad to leave

Well i nkow its a few months down the line but better late then never!, It was the best holiday of our lives as we have never been away on our own in the 10 years we have been together, this was a brilliant holiday, very relaxing! So... That makes sidari and san george apartments suitable for couples and famillies.
had a text off george yesterday there email is blocked so all bookings being taken by fone ask for nota there number is 2663095215 the place is brill we going bk for the third time in oct.
Hi there people, Me, my missies and 2 girls aged 4, and 6 now went to sidari and stayed at san george apartments back in 2003, it was a wonderful place and really looking to go back this year, but one problem is that i cant seem to find a package through a travel agents, i have heard that you have to book DIRECT, Does ANYONE PLEASE have any info on how to do this?
I stayed at San George last yr (2005) for 2 weeks in July, and i loved it!! Spent the days by the pool with my family and having stef (the day barmen) CONSTANTLY chucking me in the pool everyday for two weeks or chasing me around the pool but he was brilliant, a really genuinely nice person!!!!We spent the evenings playing pool (using stefs "special" stick), gong on the machines at night (with george leaving me stranded in the middle and soaking me) aswell as clubbing with my sister (her being 17,and myself turning 19) with a group of ppl we had met in the hotel of similar age! i would definately recommend it for both families and groups of young people as it is a laugh for both and everyone is just so nice and friendly! but NEVER turn your back on either of the barmen near any sign of water, take my advise!!
we have been for the last three years and we can't fault the people or the apartments. stefanos is ace. if you ever read this we love you. we love you too george. just want to let people know we taught george about the jiggy jiggy lol. notas breakfasts are the best and achilles is just brilliant. he is like a big uncle! we did all the trips and they are all great especially the beach barbecue and water park! watch out for wasps though. can't wait to get back ther. hi party gang. alison sarah and co. also shakers is a must! waiter does a brill lambarda!!!!!!!! went in june weather 35 degrees. ps stef get the tequila going!! xxxxxx
Hi we have been going to the San George Apartments for three years now, twice with Thomas Cook and once with Cosmos. Achillies is going to do it on his own next year and you have to book direct, but before we left this year I forgot to get any details on how to book, if any one has been to the San George Apartments in Sidari recently, do you have any details, many thanks
We stayed at San George end of july / 1st week august
Me and my friend (both 20) just got bad 2 days ago from our holiday at the san george app's! we loved every minute of it! the resort was quiet for relaxing days and the town as only a short walk away for the busy nights. Altho saying that after the first night out in sidari town we decided it was more entertaining to just go out for then come back to the hotel bar where we were entertained by Georges tricks (and i also agree with his obsession of his "JIGGY" ) My friend went to bed earlier then me everynight but this was no problem as with it being a small resort everyone gets to know everyone very fast and i had plently of people to stay up drinkin with til the early hours of the mornin. Me and my friend didnt want to leave but we did get a good send from george and achilles - oooh but not to leave out stefanos tho he was also great and took sooo much pleasure in throwin people in the pool, until of course his victims got their own back!
im 16 and my sister is 13. me,her and my mum are goin there in 6 days so jst wondered if the entertainment there would suit us? i also want ti no what jigga jigga is!! pml please sum1 tell mi quick as i am goin soon!!!!!!!!!!!
san George apartments was the best place I have been so far and i would go bk there any day. its a short walk to the village and all the resteraunts and bars were great!!Both the bar men were good lads nd made the holiday even better to enjoy. George was good at his tricks and had some funny sayings. It was that good that im going bk there next year and for two weeks hopefuly. It was very clean and the rooms were very large!!!Cheers 4 a great holiday san george i will be bk soon!!!
the san george
apartments were very spacious and cleaned regular stefanos was a
real asset to the san george and george jiggy jiggy lol they made
the bar as it wasnt as lively as we were led to believe sidari was a
dive the beach was disgusting it stunk of sewage and the water wasnt
clear like zante tried it once will not be going back again im going to
go back to what i know is best zante . watch
out you dont get accused of not paying your bill coz we were .and we
had paid we was very angry as the owner knocked on our door at 1.30 in
the morning and then had the cheek to say dont say nothing angry was an
under statement never again will we go to corfu prefer zante people
more friendly stefanos was lovely and george but the rest
of corfu i didnt rate at all
We arrived back from the San George yesterday and had an absolutely brilliant holiday.......gutted to be back home but already looking to rebook for next year
we stayed at the apartments from 6th june for 1 week, wot can i say it was the best holiday ever!! sidari is a bit of a dive but the guys at san george were great!!! stef is a laugh during the day but he does like to chuck you in the pool or throw cold water on you!!! achillies (the owner) is really friendly and so is george i told him he was famous on this website for the jiggy jiggy!!!!! mitch was great fun he likes to get everyone involved in all activities and was a good laugh!! the apartments were clean although clean towels are a bit spa**e but that didn't matter. you get a good view from most apartments. the pool area is very clean and the bar is too, they serve a good range of snacks during the day. i would recommend mythos restaurant to eat at night exellent food and service.
This was our third year in the San George apartments, and as usual what a brilliant holiday we had, Achilles, George and Steph are great, this was our first year with mad steph but everyone loved him and he made the place a bit more livelier. As normal the apartments were very clean and cleaned most days, even if beds weren't done the bins were always emptied. What else can we say, apart from we hope to make our fourth visit next year and would recommend these apartments to anyone. Its is only about a 10 min walk into the middle of Sidari, very lively. For those looking for a nice quiet walk, take the beach route!!!. You do tend to get hassled by the restaurant and bar staff as you walk through of an evening, but we take no notice.
Lovely place excellent staff, George and Stef and a new english arrival Mitch
the san george appartments were gr8, i agree all george talks bout is jiggy jiggy bless him loads, i wud go bk 2 thoes appartments anyday.the rooms r really spacious and r out if the way of the busy sidari village. only a short stroll in2 the town which was gd and a cheap taxi drive as well!!( i had the rides 4 free they liked me)lol
Just arrived back from Corfu yesterday, and all i can say is i would definatly recommened these apartments to everyone. The staff who work here are the best!!!!! so friendly and helpfull, they couldnt do enough for you, they loved all the kids. The barman George makes the best cocktails and he is sooo funny, all he talks about is JIGGY JIGGY. Would definatly go back there like a shot!
Me and my boyfriend have just returned from corfu after spending two weeks at the san george apartments...we had a brilliant time, loved the complex-the rooms are spacious and well furnished, the pool is lovely and the pool bar offers a good choice of food which is inexpensive. Sidari itself is nice with loads of good restaurants, bars and gift shops and its only a 10 minute walk from san george. the three pigs, symposio and cactus jacks were our favourite restaurants... san george is popular with couples, families and groups of friends of all ages. we'd happily go back there again.
We have just got back after spending our holiday at the san george appt, the appartments are lovely and spacious and the people are very nice but the best two that helped make the holiday are stefanos (steff), Steff works the days and is absolutly brilliant with the children and makes a mean cocktail then there's Goerge who works the evenings, the food is nice and a good price i'd recomend the steak fillet in garlic sauce it's to die for.
One thing to watch out for with these 2 guys is they like to get you wet with ice cold water when you don't expect it and are both a nightmare to get back.
The shops are just a few mins walk away and the people are so friendly you can't help but like them.
A most is to take a trip to sunset beach and watch the sun go down it is quite a sight.
The pool is lovely at around 2 in the morning and you don't get told off either. But i would strongly recomend that if you visit sidari then take a touch for the walk back to the appartments as there are no pavements and no street lights.
I would go back tomorrow and i dare say i will be going back in the near future.
everything about theses appartments was great, the rooms were great exspesh the 2 bedroom appartment dat we had.....they were big!! sorry cleaner, we made such a mess for u, and sorry bout the window!! the bar men were fab, i agree all george wants in JIGGY JIGGY!! and he has a girl friend dat he lives with, and the other bar man has a fit ass!! i hav it on video camera ;)BEWARE of the ends of the beds they tend 2 fall in as we found out!!!!lol......it's a heated pool which was great.....and the old lady who owned it was obsessed wid tatuca...translated sexy!! ot was a nice stroll in2 the loacl village, sidari...which isnt 2 far...
overall the accommodation was fine, but on arrival the wc was filthy and i had to clean it myself, the cutlery was very spa**e, but who cooks on hol... however the greek night (at 12 euros per person) was a let down, the food was terrible. my husband was then accused of not paying for the meals which we found both annoying and embarassing and so decided not to eat there unless it was unavoidable. the following morning when we again approached the staff regarding the accusation they had made, they apologised and admitted they were wrong. even so it was very embarassing.
Where do we start???With the spacious apartment, lovely pool, beautiful scenery and exceptionally friendly staff...O.K, as some have mentioned the crockery & cutlery could have been more plentiful but who comes on holiday to cook???We certainly didnt mind drinking ouzo out of tea cups!Believe it or not it tasted the same. All the people who stayed at the apartments were great, none of your idiots but proper nice people.Regarding the staff, George, Stefanos and Achilles (the owner)plus his mum & dad they all were absolutly brilliant. They really made us feel welcome and bent over backwards to help, no matter what you asked. The location of the apartments is a 10 minute walk into the main part of Sidari but dont be put off by this as its lovely and peaceful. We as a family with children 12 and 10 but as parents enjoy a good laugh found this place to be perfect!!!Would go back tomorrow.
These apartments are the best and the barmen were a laugh especially george! But i have to say he loves his JIGGY!! well loves to talk bout it! Its rite near sidari town so ideal to walk back from a night of clubbin!
San George Apartments, Sidari
Family booked to stay July 04. 3 year old and 7 year old. Just checking if kids will enjoy? Not looking for anything too loud - hope being away from centre allows us to have a bit of a relaxing break - any comments appreciated.
My wife and I stayed at San George In May '03

hope you can help me
Stayed here with my family june 2003 had fab time. the apartments are cleaned everyday and the pool is also cleaned every night.
The family who run this place are very friendly and love children. The food is good and very cheap especially the bbq nights for only 5 euro. The owners are willing to keep the bar open til you drop so no early nights there although there are considerate to other guests and music is turned down at midnight. Its 10 mins walk from the main centre but a nice stroll and taxis are cheap back if you can't stand to walk back. Would recommend to all ages and i'd go back like a shot.

WE ARE STAYING IN THE SAN GEORGE APARTS IN AUGUST 2004, WE NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE COOKING FACILITES ARE LIKE? EG: IS THERE A KETTLE, TOASTER, DESENT COKKING EQUIPMENT?
I WOULD BE VERY GRATEFULL!!
I stayed in the San George Apartments in July 2003 and had a great time. The apartments may not be set in the centre of the resort but it is only a short walk to the town and it is away from the noise of the town at night.
The apaptments were kept very clean and the food was lovely. The portion were quite big and also cheap.
Our apartment was cleaned regularly and the people within the place were very friendly.
I recommend these apartments to anyone who wants a family holiday with a gorgeous pool and surroundings.
we stayed at san george apts in july/aug this year, the size of apts are good, they are basic but new this year, very clean, but only when you first arrive, bed changes are slow etc, so may need to be chased. equipment in apts are spa**e. pool is lovely and complex is a ten minute walk to melitsa area leading to sidari centre. 3 little pigs is a much for the dancing, dont take the trips with jmc rep they are cheaper in the many travel agents in sidari centre. beach is a little disappointing. i went as a newly single parent with three sons 10, 14 and 15 they enjoyed the pool area at san george and the pool table, the food is basic not large portions breakfast is worth a try. at 4 euros, went to aqualand, well worth a trip to this place even i enjoyed to slides and you dont have to be a swimmer. at san george the staff are friendly spiros is the waiter in the day he is welcoming quiet, and attentive. of an evening sam (stamatis) arrives at around 7.30 he is lovely and we took a shine to each other thats all i am prepared to say lol. he is a little more friendly being evening staff i suppose and younger and single. in all i would recommend san george, especially for families and couples. greek night each sunday is fun and well worth the 12 euros which includes a bbq meal and at lease an hours worth of dancing be prepared to join in, it is fun though. so all i have to say is pick up an ouzo or bottle of mythos and shout yammas!...
my mum & dad are go to corfu to stay at the san george apartments have you any details of what they are like
