Myself, husband and 16 year old son are flying to Sidari 16/7/04. We are staying at the San George apts. Has anyone any advice/comments.

overall the accommodation was fine, but on arrival the wc was filthy and i had to clean it myself, the cutlery was very spa**e, but who cooks on hol... however the greek night (at 12 euros per person) was a let down, the food was terrible. my husband was then accused of not paying for the meals which we found both annoying and embarassing and so decided not to eat there unless it was unavoidable. the following morning when we again approached the staff regarding the accusation they had made, they apologised and admitted they were wrong. even so it was very embarassing.

Sidari is a filthy place, smells of drains and the beach is full of waste and rubbish. Thank god we hired a jeep and drove round the island. Is it just me or do the Germans seem to have the better resorts? San George apts were clean and quiet (I would recommend them as they are approx 10 mins walk outside of Sidari past Three Little Pigs restaurant). Canal D'Amour stinks, wear your wellies when plodging.
