 returned on monday 4th June from a really nice and relaxing holiday in Loxides.  The apartment was very clean and spacious, the lovely ladies that came round everyday to empty bins etc were very friendly.  We really enjoyed the pool area spending most of our holiday in it!!  didnt want to go home.

It is only 10 weeks until we go to the Loxides we can not wait, these appartments are just fab, along with the owners.  We have great memories of our last holiday here, and we are looking forward to this years holiday.  counting the weeks now, and looking forward to seeing everybody.

Hi All,  Just booked a week at Loxides today! Going in 5 and a half weeks...can't wait!!! For this reason i found myself on this site. Been reading all the comments and i am really impressed... not taking notice of the hard to please. Will be heading out with my wife and our grandson on June 4th. Gotta a feeling i'll be back on here in a few weeks telling you i had the time of my life and have already booked for next year! Bring it on!!!!!

iya yanni, richelle an pedro, jus thought id write 2 let u no that your apartments are fantastic we av been to you 2 years on the run to stay with you. we would advise anyone who are goin to sidari to come an stay with you. not only was your apartments fantastic but your company was also fantastic an your food could not fault you on anything you made me an my familys holiday a pleasure an we hope to c u soon xxxx

We have just booked to go back to Loxides and it will be our 7th year. We just love this place and Yanni and Richelle are so welcoming and cant do enough for you.  These previous negative comments from 'guests' obviously are spending too much time following the cleaner round looking for pubes on the mop.  You cant please everyone but the amount of repeat guests speaks for itself!!
We met a couple this year at Loxides  and had a fantastic  time as we do every year, and we have booked up to go back together next year and they are taking their family too. So 12 of us will be  hitting Loxides in July next year.
There are many other guests we have met over the years that go back at the same time each year and we all just pick up where we left off the previous holiday. So Yanni you better get some more tricks up your sleeve for next year

 Just had our second holiday at Loxides and it was excellent, we all know the staff are fabulous, at your beck and call, the apartment are fantastic, and the area, well what's to say, it's beautiful, couldn't possibly be better situated for any one, there is some thing for every one and yes, we will be returning next year, it is not just about having a holiday, it's sharing time with wonderful people in wonderful surroundings, Richele and Yannie are fantastics, and we hate leaving them, they hold a genuine interest in there guests and love nothing better than getting to know them. All my love to everyone at Loxides, see you all next year cos we will be back, no doubt about it.

We returned from Sadaris early this morning, in short we had the most exciting, memorable holiday you can ever wish for. Richelle and Yanni (the owners) are really down to earth friendly people – god knows how they keep going after all the hours they put in! Tony who mans the bar during the day is extremely friendly and will always point you in the right direction….just ask! Pedro – Richelle & Yanni's son is always knocking around somewhere on the complex and is also a great source of information (just keep any ladies well clear from him; he is a true ladies man!).

Whilst there we did have one day of bad weather which ended in 8 hours of solid rain (unusual freaky storm!), our ground floor room got flooded due to the volume of water, but as good old humanity prevailed many people mucked in helping Yanni get the pumps going to get rid of the water, other guests put us up in their rooms and by 10.30pm we aborted to a well deserved, although very wet beer. By morning the army of cleaners had cleaned all the rooms, supplied new furniture and we were back in (all before I had even woken up!) To be honest this night in particular was the best out of the holiday despite the rain and flooding purely because it displayed how people can really bond in times of need, nobody moaned we got on with it, did what we could and drowned our sorrows in the bar with Yanni and his family - well done all.

A great time, well recommended to any body of any age and of any background. The complex was spotless, the location perfect (quiet, but within a walking distance to some very good nightlife) the bar food good and hospitality excellent. The important thing is to ask Yanni, richelle, Pedo, Tony or Costa about the area….they live there, they know!

We were at Loxides in August couldnt get enough so we went back in September this year, we had a brilliant time as always. Richelle, Yanni, Tony are brilliant but we cant forget the maids Linda & Mary they deserve great TIPS off everybody for doing a great job on the apartments, and also Duncan for keeping everything spick & span. We hope Richelle gets to see more of that beautiful sun. See you all next year at our 2nd home.

we went to loxides in July this year we couldnt get enough of it so we went back in september its like our 2nd home. Every body is brilliant Rochelle, Yannis, Tony and we cant forget the cleaners Linda & Mary also Duncan who keeps every thing looking great. THEY ALL DESERVE BIG TIPS OFF EVERY BODY . You dont need a sense of humour to enjoy yourself at Loxides but it helps!
Our family go every single year and we cant see that changing soon, back again in June and as we have been going for a while we have become used to some of the practical jokes always doing the rounds.
Yanni, Rochelle and the rest of the family are as friendly as you could ask for and always willing to help or lend a sympathetic ear, always ready with advise on where to eat but the food on offer @ Loxides aint at all bad if you are after a freshly prepared snack. The pool is lovely and well kept, with a good supply of sunbeds and parasols. The apartments are lovely and also kept to the highest standard.
All in all i would highly reccomend Loxides Appts to anyone considering a holiday in corfu, look at it this way, Loxides Appts are the main reason we travel back time and again, its more like going to visit friends!!

i have just read all the comment posted on this site, and although the majority agree with me and my husband, there are a few unwarrented reports amongst them. the loxides complex is fantastic, well situated, just a stones throw from the beach and central to all sidari as to offer. the accomodation was very clean, comfortable and provided all the requirements for a self catering holiday. 

Richelle and Yannie are a fantastic couple, working extremely hard form dawn till dusk to make sure guests have the best of everything.  Yannie is one of the funniest guys i've ever met with his gags and practical jokes, he's a real great friendly guy. Richelle is fantastic, we had a great laugh, she loves chatting to the guests, and having a laugh. They both work real hard to make sure the guests get the best of their holiday, and for me and my husband and most of the other guests who have placed comments on here, thats exactly what they did.

Our first time in Corfu staying in the Loxidies Apartments on 21/8/06 two of us for 1 week and two for 2weeks....fantastic holiday we all had. Loxidies Apartments is in a perfect location, just a 5 min walk from the main strip and Loxidies itself was lovely....really nice swimming pool, rooms very clean and well equippted and very helpful staff! will be back next year staying at the Loxidies Apartments!!!!....just one thing to be mentioned...the noise one night during the first week of our stay....just making sure you didnt think it was us girls keeping the whole complex awake!

hi we enjoyed another week at loxides this year,we have just booked for next year .there will be five of us this time though as my son is bringing a friend look forward to seeing everyone next august

we went to loxides in may 06 and spent 2 fantastic weeks, the apartment are fantastic, cool and welcoming, cleaned regular to high standards. we enjoyed it so much the moment we got back we booked again ane are going at the end of sept again for 2 weeks. richelle and yannie are fantastic, they will help were ever possible and keep you entertained all holiday, especially yannie with his constant gags and practical jokes, all in good taste.  as for sidari itself it's just like a peace of heaven theres everything you could want all within a 5 min walk of the apartments, some thing for all ages, and if you like to walk, in just under an hour you could be sat at sunset beach, watching the most beautiful sunset you might ever see, if walking isnt for you, get a taxi, it is well worth a visit. we didn't just like loxides and sidari we loved it. enjoy.

Can anyone tell me about Loxides,Sidari?????? I live here in corfu,and my family are staying at the Loxides from monday 4th sep,i have read up on Loxides and Im very impressed,and ive also visited the place and it looks fab. Any infor about the owners or managers would be great to hear,as most people speak highly of them,but there are a few comments which i feel is from serial complainers,but any more infor i d love to hear. got back from a 2 weeks holiday in sidari (loxides) put a post on earlier but its disappeared lol had a great time and would definately come back!! we heard alot of bad things about sidari so were a little unsure before we arrived...but once we got there we realised it was all a load of s**t!!! the smell of the river wasnt noticable and it wasnt at all like "blackpool on speed" (comment read on the internet) the clubbing was great but if u fancied a quiet night then there were plenty more relaxed places to eat and drink.the appartments were great,as was the maid service and the staff were all friendly and helpful (i recommend some of tonys pancakes haha)

loxides is brilliant for all ages, yanni and his family are funny, helpful and very welcoming just dont fall for the tin of nuts that he always seems to offer out! There is a friendly atmosphere at loxides and it is well located. I strongly recomend it!!     Lewis Morrison aged 16

Loxides do have a safety deposit facility. We have been going for 6 years to Loxides and absolutely love it. Its in a perfect location. Alex behind the bar gives you greek lessons  .Just watch out for Yanni's tricks in the bar at night he is such a funny guy. top bloke

The girls and i got back from Loxides apartment on the 1st August.Our first girlie holiday to Corfu and we loved it!!! we really didnt want to come home!!  Sidari is a great place with a great night life and staying at this appartment was ideal to get to all the bars. Everyone working there is a friendly and its clean and tidy. just noticed a posting from 'pool police' crew so just wanted to say Hi - its Sophie Ellis Bextor! ha!

For gillian. Weather will  still be hot. Everything in the resort will be open . It dosn't start to close until well into october. Loxides apartments are brilliant and ideally positioned for the beach and shops, tavernas etc. and only 10 min walk to resort centre. Dont book any trips with your rep as there are numerous shops where you can book exactly the same trips for much less.  

Returned home after another fantastic holiday with Richele. Yanni and family.  The apartment have all been re-vamped and are great especially with the air conditioning.  Nothing to much for Richele and Yanni they always wants to please.  Staff very polite and the grounds are kept in a superb condition.  We are already looking to book for next year and this will be our fifth year at the Loxides, it is just like a home from home.

 We were at the Loxides 4 years ago, we had a great holiday, the bar is brilliant. Yanni made me lots of different cocktails, nothing was a bother to them. We have been to different places, but nothing will beat the loxides. So we are going back next year, trying to book now, but the brochures are not available yet, don't worry we are coming on our own!, so get stocked up on the alcohol you have plenty time, and get the cocktail shaker out. Hey you guys Loxides sure is a swell place to take your annual vacation.Good position, good beer, good food and great hosts. A great vacation guaranteed but hey cmon and listen up, if you happen to mosey on down there one night and you see me , well dont go spashing it all over this darned internet. I must say i have been to the apartments on several occasions and got to know the family and staff and guests very well and will be going back there this year

My wife little lad josh and i stayed at the loxides in may 04. The only down side we had was the maid service but hey you cant win them all.  other than that it was one of the best holidays we had by far the weather was excellent the pool was nice and the apartments were clean and the bar was the best part. The host Yanni and son pedro were top draw they were funny and always doing jokes on people and keeping us entertained. We used to go out round sidari for food and round the other bars then made sure we ended up back at yannis bar as something was always happening. We made some good friends there and still keep in regular touch with them still to this day so we owe it all to you yanni, i would recommend this place to anyone as it is such a fun place and for us yanni made our holiday so memorable, so thanks yanni! we plan on going back this year so see you soon yanni and pedro

hello everybody ,from all the staff at loxides,we hope that you had a pleasant winter & we are very much looking forward to seeing you all.

We are going back for the fourth year and we are looking forward to seeing Yanni, Richelle and family.  They are very friendly and cannot do enough for their guest to make sure they have an excellent holiday.  We are taking friends with us this year. The apartments are clean and the staff are excellent.  Pool well kept and if something does go wrong Yanni and Richelle go out thier way to help.

Oh my god! Me and my parents first went to Loxides like 4-5 years ago, thats when we met pedro, costa and his lovely parents, wow i cant believe I found this site by coincidence lol.

We had a brilliant time at the Loxides in August 2005. Lovely gardens & Pool the apartment was excellent, must be great we are going back there next year August 2006

 We had  a great two weeks at the Loxides. Apartment 411 was fab, spacious clean and comfotable, I reckon we had the best apartment on the complex but I know they are all of the same standard of excellence. Maid service is fab and thorough. Security and safety of your belongings in your apartment is not a worry. Mozzies are lethal at night though. pool and grounds are beautiful and well tended, a dream really. Ignore the reps tours and car offer there are better offers on the main sadari strip and car hire just up from the Loxides on the left, we found the cars good. A definate trip for you must be to Parga and paxod, brilliant day also the blue lagoon. Thanks again to Yianni, Richelle and all the staff who made the stay worthwhile. Rob & David

I have just spent 2 weeks at the Loxides apartment and had a fantastic time. The apartments are well looked after by all the staff. The apartments are situated in a quite area but a close to the shops ,  restaurants etc... The apartments are run by a family who are all really nice and friendly there make you welcome from when you get there to the minute you go home, there all work very hard to keep you entertained and make your holiday enjoyable. Rochelle works really hard, she is very friendly and chatty and is alway's smiling. Yannis is also very friendly and keeps you entertained from day to night with his jokes and tricks he works hard too. Then there is Pedro who is there youngest son he works hard too to keep you entertained and to have a good laugh. There are all a very nice family. There have a older son costas who we didn't meet much but he was a friendly person.

We just got back from 2 weeks in sidari after staying at the Loxides apartments....they are of a good size and location is great even though the canl which runs alongside STINKS.......

me and my family stayed at the loxides apartmennts last august and it wasd the best holiday we ever had! the apartments were clean becuase my family had 2 and my mates had another 2 apartments and they was all proper clean so i don't know what people are going on about! the owners re ded nice and so is pedro! i am going back there next year wiv all me mates cos it is class! x

Good news Yanni and Richelle have just informed me that the Loxides will be available next year with Olympic Holidays and although at the present time the Loxides does not appear in the 2006 brochure online it will Soon.

Thanks Viki for your help about air con and safety deposit boxes. Its the 31st August now and looking forward to arriving at the Loxides on the 13th. Everyones comments are appreciated about the Loxides, I changed my booking from the solamou appartments Ipsos to the Loxides. All I ask is that it is clean and safe and comfortable. Which the solamou by all accounts was not.

Anyway a holiday is what you make of it and a good base is paramounts . Looking forward to the two weeks there. Rob

Another great holiday at the Loxides. We were in room B52 which used to be room 102, it was clean and tidy and the maid service was very good. Yanni, Richelle, Pedro and Alexis were the perfect hosts.

After working all year, looking forward to our stay Sept 5 to 19.Our party of 8 all in our 50's enjoy good company and mix well but are not intrusive. We know we will have a good time, knowing family friends who have stayed at Loxides.Politeness costs nothing and brings its own rewards.

Our first visit to Corfu and we were not disapointed. The friendliness shown by Yianni, Richelle and the team made us feel very welcome. Thank you all very much. The Mythos and the Olympic were great eating places, the beach was just over the road, and the sun shone. The company was good, Yianni and Richelle were kind, polite and organised (my daughter thought it a shame that Pedro supports Chelsea, but hey !!!)

JUST OVER 2 WEEKS TO GO AND ME , MY FAMILY AND SOME FRIENDS ARE OFF TO LOXIDES AGAIN.

our holiday was the best i have had so far and trust me it wont be the last at that hotel! the family were lovely and very friendly. i would reccommend this hotel to everyone. we will definatly return next year!!

I agree with Vicki.  The brochure certainly needs to be updated and basically what is said on this website about Loxides, Yanni, Richelle or Sidari is rubbish.  I've just been onto the Olympic website and ordered the 2006 brochure.  We are more than likely to be returning to Loxides. 

Get a life & enjoy your holiday.  People make me angry when they slag places off.  Please realise that Yanni & Richelle work very hard to keep their business going and I'm sure that you would not like to read things on here (that are obviously not true) put yourself in their shoes & I bet most of the people didn't even complain!

hi richelle,yanni ,peter,costa and of course your lovely mum and dad we went to sidari for two weeks our freind was staying at the loxidos with his niece amy and we spent a lot of time at there place instead of ours we where at the ( joylife) ! thats a joke it had 3 pools the works but the staff where ignorant and rude and the cleaners thiefs! i am so glad we spent all our time at the loxidos we had a great time even when our freind went home he was only staying a week we went back good food great entertainment from yanni the joker keep it up and peter what a great lad hes acredit to you both .unfortanatley a idiot was staying with no teeth what a a**ehole every night he was shouting ,swearing really killed the party  we stayed away after they came a shame cos we where having a great time he pissed a lot of people off with his behaviour but hey s**t happens dont it? i enjyed my chats with ya mum richelle a lovely woman and thank you for understanding our son paul who has autism and can get a bit giddy thanks for a great time love to you all god bless we will see you again xxxx

It was our 5th year at Loxides and I say every year it was the best holiday ever and this year was no exception.  These people that complain about Loxides have obviously not been to Greece before, we have been to very basic greek accomodation and this is luxury in comparison.  It is a perfect location with the beach  about 20 mtrs, ideal quite location away from the main strip ,  Yanni and Richelle are the best hosts with nothing being too much trouble. Our rooms were cleaned  & changed every 2 days and the bins emptied every day.  The people that have got complaints  about Loxides are obviously serial complainers wherever they go, this year there was at least 6 parties  that we have met every year going there at the same time as us so that says it all really . If it was that bad would we keep booking to go back every year??????

Me and my boyfriend went to Corfu, Sidari and stayed at the Loxides apartments, It was Great!!

We stayed there for 2 weeks and really enjoyed our stay! It's just a 5minute walk from the main resort of Sidari, bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc... Look out for Falcon Bar and Calypso they're really nice! The best places to eat are Bed and the chinese above bed was lovely too!!

We made friends with alot of people tht work in the bars everyone is very helpful and friendly!

The beach was across the road from loxides, it's a long sandy beach very nice although we preferred the pool!

Richelle, Yanni and Pedro were very friendly the owners of the Loxides, they made us feel very welcome... Also Yanni and Pedro were good at entertaining us at night in the bar with their tricks lol! some of them were really good!

We really enjoyed our stay at Loxides and would definatley reccommend it and go again sometime in the future!

 

Chris and Kerrie, you really have a problem, and it's not Loxides. When you go to Greece you go for a Greek experience and to meet new people. You went for Big Brother and cheap everything. If you want to watch Big Brother stay in England. You are the type of people I would prefer not to meet on holiday. There is absolutely nothing wrong with loxides. I could name you bad accomodation in Sidari and some really unreasonable owners, Loxides is good and has affable and generous owners. Loxides is fairly new accomodation and is in an excellent location with nice staff and owners. I just don't understand where some of you are coming from. I don't owe these owners anything and we are not related but I find some of the comments that you are making hard to stomach as it is so far from our experience as to imagine that you must have lives in some other apartments with the same name. To all of you who have never visited Loxides, please go and make up your own mind, disregard the ill founded comments placed by people who clearly had some strange concept of what a holiday in Greece is all about

Me and my boyfriend have just arrived back early hours of this morning from Sidari, Corfu, Loxides apartments, we were there for 2 weeks!

We really enjoyed it, had a fantastic time! we would definatly go again!

We stayed in room 201 it's really not that bad its jus quite close to the bar and didn't like sitting on the terrace as people were right there lol!!

 

I would definatly prefer a room with a balcony we did ask the rep if we could change rooms as we did ask for a balcony in the first place but she wasn't very helpful, so we stayed put in room 201! In the end we got used to it and didn't mind!

 

The beach is lovely and only across the road lovely n sandy! The bars and restuarants are just a 5minute walk away, there are some lovely restaurants you can eat at which look out onto the beach and the sea, we ate and one called Bed most nice it was lovely also cheap lol! Also our favourite bar was Falcon bar we went in there every night also Calypso!!

The people who work in the bars are very nice and friendly they make you feel very welcome!

 

At the Loxides, Yanny, Richelle and Pedro were lovely and friendly! They aslo made you feel very welcome and Yanny made me laugh in the evening playing lots of tricks on me and other guest haha!! It was fun!! We made lots of friends!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Loxides apartments and would reccomend it!

Sorry you had such a bad experience Miss K Hunt  - its really bizzarre how different your experience was to mine - i had never been to Loxides before and yet all the staff were fantastic - we didnt have to complain about anything (believe me i am not the sort to grin and bare things !) a couple we met though - rachel and Martin (room 510) couldnt open the shutters in their room and were quite worried about bringing it to Richelle's attention as Emma had warned us in the welcome meeting to be careful! When Martin told Richelle - she was fine - told them not to worry about it and sent the handy man up to fix it ! Maybe we all just got good rooms and there are some bad ones on the ground floor i dont know

Before we start we want to make it clear we are not winging Anglos (read our comments on Mythos restaurant if you don't believe us...)
