Been going to Sidari for 4 years and were so lucky to discover Salt and Pepper the first year. We eat there most nights and have never been disappointed with the food there. Have to agree with other comments about it the staff cant do enough for you, and fuss over the children and serve ice cream with sparklers for them. Going back in June 2003 and will be eating there every night.
Went to Loxides last year and going back June 2003. The best place weve ever stayed at. Excellent hosts Yianni and Richelle. Yianni kept us up to the early hours with his tales and tricks. Counting down the days till we go back.
Just a bit of advice for taking under 5s we took a buggy for our daughter last year she was 5 then as Sidari is a long stretch of road with restaurants etc and little ones can get a bit tired in the evening.
Just bk from Sidari after 5 yrs of going.Ate at Salt & Pepper nearly every night . Was our daughters birthday whilst there and they made a big fuss of her and even gave us a bottle of bubbly free. Previoius comments about Moussaka heated in microwave, if this meal had of been cooked from scratch you would have been whining about having to wait 2 hours. I think you would find it hard to find any restaurant without a microwave. Booked to go bk next year and I know where we will be eating most nights. They do a wicked Kleftiko.
Just back after going to Sidari for 5th year and booked the day after we got back for next year.Stayed at Loxides appts and had a fantastic time as always. Just reasd F S comments about Sidari and think that he/she would be better staying in Britain and just turn central heating up,what a wast of money!! Been to other Greek Islands but love Corfu the most, but you have got to hire a car and drive to other places to see the real Corfu. Counting the weeks to my next holiday in Sidari.
We tried hydropolis this year and paid 7euros each. We really enjoyed it and it kept the kids amused all day and its just a short bus ride from Sidari. Well worth the money and was a good day out.

Taverna Agni is about 45 minute drive from Sidari. But it is well worth the drive. Hope this helps.
It was our 5th year at Loxides and I say every year it was the best
holiday ever and this year was no exception. These people that
complain about Loxides have obviously not been to Greece before, we
have been to very basic greek accomodation and this is luxury in
comparison. It is a perfect location with the beach about
20 mtrs, ideal quite location away from the main strip , Yanni
and Richelle are the best hosts with nothing being too much trouble.
Our rooms were cleaned & changed every 2 days and the bins
emptied every day. The people that have got complaints
about Loxides are obviously serial complainers wherever they go, this
year there was at least 6 parties that we have met every year
going there at the same time as us so that says it all really . If it
was that bad would we keep booking to go back every year??????

Hi Graham
Loxides do have a safety deposit facility. We have been going for 6 years to Loxides and absolutely love it. Its in a perfect location. Alex behind the bar gives you greek lessons .Just watch out for Yanni's tricks in the bar at night he is such a funny guy. top bloke

We have just booked to go back to Loxides and it will be our 7th year. We just love this place and Yanni and Richelle are so welcoming and cant do enough for you. These previous negative comments from 'guests' obviously are spending too much time following the cleaner round looking for pubes on the mop. You cant please everyone but the amount of repeat guests speaks for itself!!
We met a couple this year at Loxides and had a fantastic time as we do every year, and we have booked up to go back together next year and they are taking their family too. So 12 of us will be hitting Loxides in July next year.
There are many other guests we have met over the years that go back at the same time each year and we all just pick up where we left off the previous holiday. So Yanni you better get some more tricks up your sleeve for next year

Napoleons has to be the greatest snack bar/bar in Sidari. Dennis who is Napoleons little brother runs it and is the one of the most welcoming , friendly guys.
We used to walk along here every afternoon for a Zorba beer and a snack. Its location is excellent too and the beach is a couple of steps from it.
Whilst you are sitting there soaking up the atmosphere and sun you are greeted with a generous amount of little snacks to help soak up the ouzo/ beer
We have been going to Napoleons for a few years now and always greeted with a warm welcome every time. Recommend you pay a visit.
