If theres any thing you need or are looking for the brothers are more than happy to help even if they are rushed off their feet . we were so please with the holiday we have only been back home 2 weeks and we have already booked to go back next year :) so nikcos and family the vodka lovers are coming back ! xx |
just got back from sidari this week, it was fantastic. lol our first holiday without parents and at times we did need looking after and we got it from fanny and nikos. they're all absoulutly fantastic so much so that we're booking to go back next year. the resort is beautiful and the food is lovely.
Just got back and we really enjoyed our stay at these apts although my guess is we probably had the worst one (no 3).The family that run the place are very friendy espciecially Nichos.Although it is abit out of town the prices in the bar and resturant are resonable.I would certainly recommend these apts if you want somewhere quiet but within walking distance of the bright lights of Sidari

We stayed at the waves last year 2005 at the end of may start of june.we found it to meet all our needs in everyway it was very clean the staff are friendly your close to the town it's a small complex just 19 rooms, and it's very quiet.
The Waves are in a quiet area 10mins walk from the centre of Sidari, beside the sea and are family run. The owners are very friendly and helpful are make your holiday very enjoyable.

we got back on monday 15th aug 2005 from the waves. Met some great people who we are meeting again. The people who own the waves was great. We ate most nights in there restaraunt.Had breakfast most days there. The maid Fanny came in nearly every day to clean room, and left fresh flowers most days,Would definately recomend it. Booking for next year. Miss everyone love Lynn and Tim xx
We have just come back from a one week stay at Waves and it was brilliant. The location was perfect as it was lovely and quiet yet not very far from the main bars and restaurants. The staff our so friendly and make you feel really welcome, Nikos, Kristos and baby Nikos you really made our holiday special. The maid Fanny is also lovely and leaves flowers in your room. The Waves restaurant is excellent, we went out to eat a few times but in the end stayed and ate at Waves because the food was so good. Overall it was a fantastic holiday and we would highly recommend it.

the wave is about 15 mins from sidari centre the sea is right on the door step with a little beach which the greeks tend to use we was in studio 11 it had air con which was 50 euros for 2 weeks it had a mini cooker with 2 rings a grill and oven which was good we also had a fridge pots and pans 2 single beds a shower no bath it was cleaned every day except wednesdays the bed linen changed once a week the towels every other day .
The wave had a swimming pool and a little one for the little ones with a pool side bar they also have a restaurant which we tried which was very nice. The wave is a family run business which are the nicest people you could ever meet.
The main beach is about 10 mins away the sunbeds are 7.50 euro for 2 with parosel there are lots of bars and restaurants on the way to the beach. We had a breakfast in elyesse which was only 3 euros each it was small but nice you even get a tea and fruit juice with it.We also went to napoleons which was ok i had a jacket potatoe with cheese and beans and you got a free cup of tea with it but you have to ask for it or else you dont get it it was always busy . I also had the same thing at the bolero with was excellent big portions for 4.50 euros . We also went to a chinese called china town which was the best we have ever had .As for the bars they dont tend to get busy till about 10pm they have lots of films on at tea time like spiderman 2 and troy ect .The best bars i think was bolero ,calypso and shakers bar .Dont book excursions from your rep they are much cheaper in town .
All in all we had a excellent holiday will be definately going back.
We were at the Waves in Oct,after holidaying in Kavos three years ago we were sceptical about returning BUT.......we decided to give Corfu another go and i can honestly say that we were not at all disappointed the waves is family run and the boys Nicos and Chris are really nice, they work really hard never off their feet and yet always manage to smile. The maid Fanny (That's her name ) is in every day to empty bins and give a quick clean and she also leaves you roses in your room "nice friendly touch".It's about 10 minutes into the Sidari walking ..."take care at night on the way back as its not very well lit" eating out try Sea Breeze its really good value for money and not at all expensive..So if you are going hope you have a as good a time as we did.
can you tell me how far away a hospital is from this hotel?
We spent two weeks at the Waves on 17th May 2004. Had a great time, good location, only a five minute walk to the centre of Sidari but far enough away to be quiet and relaxed. Everyone was helpful and could not do enough for you especially Nicos and Kristos. (Nicos and Kristos if you ever read this England are still going to win Euro 2004 despite being mugged by France. You guys have had a good start, I watched the game and you deserved to beat Portugal. Hope its an England and Greece final. Thanks for a great time and drive carefully.
All the best Jackie and Darren TREVORWAGS@aol.com
I thought the location was excellent as we like walking the area was very quiet. found the chaps quite friendly but thought the women were a bit on the miserable side.
just a bit to far out from main bit. right on the beach front with a nice sea breeze. friendly family run appartments.shame its a bit far out .takes about 15 mins walk to centre.if you dont mind walking definitely book here.
has anyone got the e mail address of waves studio/apt in sidari if so could you please pass it on thank you
Is it true Greeks hate dogs as I have read some of the reports and feel quite disturbed as I am a animal lover with two dogs of my own,Is it legal that they can treat animals in a bad way?I am going to Sidari in September and feel like not going.
I would still like to know the exact location of the waves studio appartments whether they are near to the canal de amour or Sidari, also can you walk to other villages.Be glad for any help.
Just returned from Waves Had a great time good food/clean pool/all the family very friendly clean rooms. also Spiros makes you speak Greek at breakfast
I was led to believe these studios are a 20 min walk to the centre, also i would like to know if they are near to the canal de amour
my boyfriend and i are returning to waves apartments in august 2003 for the third year in a row. its not actually in the centre of sidari, but in agios ionnanis, a 5 minute walk away. the location is convienient but quiet, with superb access to quaint supermarkets and an amazing beach. The apartments themselves are clean, tidy, and spacious and as they are family run, really friendly as well. The resteraunt serves many dishes, both european and greek, so theres something for everyone, both young and old. The food is also excellent. Waves have their own pool and pool bar, and a pool table, which means theres plenty to do if you dont want to go far. As is probably obvious from my comment, i love corfu and waves and if i have my way (!!) ill never holiday anywhere else. It is truly my home from home, and im sure all those who visit will agree with me.
i am going to these apts next august with my young family, could you give me your comments on them, there location or anything else of interest.thank you.
could anybody give me their comments on these apts, there location etc.thanks
