I was led to believe these studios are a 20 min walk to the centre, also i would like to know if they are near to the canal de amour
I would still like to know the exact location of the waves studio appartments whether they are near to the canal de amour or Sidari, also can you walk to other villages.Be glad for any help.
Is it true Greeks hate dogs as I have read some of the reports and feel quite disturbed as I am a animal lover with two dogs of my own,Is it legal that they can treat animals in a bad way?I am going to Sidari in September and feel like not going.
My husband and I are visiting Sidari in September, we went to zante last year, I think the prices are the same. Last year we ate breakfast out every day for two weeks ate meals out every evening had plenty to drink, traveled about to different places through the day, even went on a cruise and spent no more than &700 between the two of us.
My husband and I have just come back from Sidari,we had a brilliant two weeks.
Weather was bad first couple of days but soon cleared up.
Sidari has its rough parts we were lucky we were in the quieter end near to Agios Ionnis area.
We found some really good places to eat with a mixture of all foods eg Greek, English, and especially a good curry house, had three while we were there, it is called the koorinor execellent currys.
as far as the price of drinks go it depends where you go some greek taverners were only charging 1.2 euros and wine was cheap.where as the big tourist bars were charging 2.5 for amstel.
Our holiday consisted of walking there is
some great scenery to be seen on foot.
We went from the eighth of September bad day on arriving, but cleared up after a couple of days, mozzys were bad for the first week but then went away for there holiday.
This is one of the best curry houses my husband and I have eaten in, we ate there three times through the holiday it was always full,so were we when we left, currys were made as hot as required but always tasted fresh, service was exellent, made our holiday.
I think Colin Yates has bad taste.
I Think that that Annette that has just come back from Sidari
is talking a load of crap if she didn't get on with the greeks she must have a bad attitude problem, she obviously didn't eat or drink where the locals ate as she would have found it a lot cheaper,we were paying abour 80p a pint at some of the places, and as far as safety goes Greece is one of the only country's I feel safe to walk about. Sidari itself is not the most scenic of places but within walking distance if you know where to walk you can get away from it all.
my husband and I stayed in Sidari wasn't keen on Sidari itself but was an ideal base to get about.we stayed at waves studio just around the corner you were in the real greece with nice taverners and lovely walks.
I thought the location was excellent as we like walking the area was very quiet. found the chaps quite friendly but thought the women were a bit on the miserable side.
