Kanali Aparthotel

Excellent accomodation in an excellent location. The rooms are of a higher standard then usual in Greece which afford excellent views out to sea and Albania(on a clear day) The staff work to a very high standard ensuring that everyone' s stay at the Kanali meets there expectations. Jenni, who runs the appartments also organises quiz nights and a greek night in the ajoining aqaurious taverna which are good fun. This is one of the few places i would visit again and would stay in the Kanali again as everyone makes you feel very welcome.

have just booked kanali for 2 wks in june 06, flight times are late at night homeward bound was just wondering if they have facilities you can use or if you can keep your room on, if so how much does it cost?

Myself and my partner stayed at the Kanali in Sept 05.  The appartments are basic but very clean.  Jenny was very nice and welcoming as were Spiros and the other staff.  Jenny even insisted on carrying my case to my room.

We went to the kanali Apartments in July 2004 it was excellent. The rooms were very clean and a good size. The views from the room were amazing. Jeni was lovely and nothing was a problem to her. One night we just spent talking to her! The food in the Aquarius Tavern was superb and would defo recommend it esp the steak it was brilliant. It is in a great location near all the shops and restaurants. I would defo think about going back to these apartments again and recommend it.

This is my first day back in England and already miss sidari:(.....i went with my dad, his partner and my older brother and the apartments where ace and pool was ace the beach was ace and the aquarious bar and restaraunt was wicked the people there where so friendly jeni was lovely and spiros and the rest where lovely.....im coming back again with my dad and his partner next year... i miss it so much there and wen im 17 im defianatly coming back with my mates we got along realy well with the people working there....i have even recomended it to my mom and i am going to try and persuade her to take me there next year 

It was the best holiday i have ever had, the rooms were sooo clean, the balcony and view were lovely, i cant wait to go back their!when you come on holiday amd get straight out of the bus, you panick its a completely different world!and when someone like jenny comes up to you, it takes stress off your shoulders, shes there helping with the bags, the pool was lovely, everything you needed was there right under your nose!!the staff in the restaurant were friendly, and all my family and friend got to know them, and were very bad when it was time to leave.jenny is there wateva time you are leaving, if its early in the morning or late at nite, you feel welcomed!everything you need you are given! As my family are awkard we wanted extra pillows and a extra key as me and my friend would go out at night it was sorted in 20 minutes!the guests always come first! want to say thankyou to jenny and the rest for making it a wkd holiday! love the taylor family xxxx (cant wait to come back)

Looking for PHONE number of KANALI APARTMENTS,SIDARI, Corfu. Having read numerous very positive reports, I tried to get in touch via their Website but have no answer after a week. I tried then to find their phone number - in vain.

  I am off to the kanali apartments 3rd June 2005 with 6  other 33-45 yr old girlfriends. Any suggestions of things to do apart from sitting in the sun! good boat trip, windsurfing, good greek food, night club for the maturer persons!??

I stayed here in June 2004 with my friend Elaine and we had a fantastic holiday. The apartments were spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The view from out balcony was beautiful. The food in the Aquarius Taverna was superb & there was plenty of choice. Spiros & the staff were very friendly and the Greek night at the taverna was great fun! Jeni who runs the apartments looked after us from the minute we got there and nothing was too much trouble. We were very sad to leave but are looking forward to going back next year.

My wife and I have just returned from a weeks holiday.Our holiday company went bust a week before we were due to go to Zante and this was our second choice.Not any more though!! What a place.Jenni who runs the hotel was there to greet us and help with our bags and was on hand the whole stay.Spiros who runs the bar/restaurant was absolutely spot on,and in fact all the staff were faultless.The accomodation was well above the norm and the views fantastic.Basically
Greek sun,Greek hospitality and the English touches we fussy lot are used to.Why someone gave it 4/10 is beyond me.We'll be back!

My husband and I stayed at the Kanali Apartments for the first time during the summer. We were only there for a week and by the end of it we really didn't want to leave.

Jenny, Spiros and the rest of the team are wonderful, friendly people who make you feel so welcome and part of the family - you're not just a number and they will do anything to help you. The apartments are very clean and well equipped. The food at the Aquarius Taverna is second to none.

It was one of the best holidays we've ever had - so much so that we have booked up again for next year and hopefully our new found friends from Cornwall (whom we met thru' Jenni) will be there too!

The Kanali apartments are the only place to stay. We have travelled quite a bit but no where beats Kanali. Jeni is simply the best and makes your stay so special. We have been going back every year and will continue to do so. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view is spectacular - cannot be beaten. Nothing is ever too much trouble for any of the staff ( including those in the adjoining Aquarius taverna) and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Kanali appartments are first class, providing an excellent standard of accommodation and service. The Aquarius Taverna offers a superb selection of food and the service is second to none! Run by great people making a fantastic holiday.

The Kanali appartments are absoloutely excellent, we stayed there in June this year for a week, but soon wished that we had booked up for two!! The appartments are clean and comfortable with beautiful views and the swimming pool was fantasic, clean and clear. The Aquarius restaurant-bar had the most excellent food (no need to eat anywhere else) and the karaokes were such a laugh. Jeni and Spiros are amazing people, they helped make the holidy extra special, they were so friendly and helpful. We hope to return as soon as we can, as we have never had a holiday so good!!

Having returned from our Third visit to the Kanalli we have now decided there is absolutely no point in going anywhere else !
Jenni & Spiros have to be the best hosts wev'e ever come across - Spiros's taverna just keeps getting better and better ! And as for the entertainment well - to get me and the wife up to do kareoke AND make us enjoy it was really something special ! Met some great new friends who we are seeing regularly in UK and all of us have already made plans to go back in 2005 !

my partner lee & i made our second visit this year to sidari on 20/9/04, and as this was a gift for his birthday i wanted it to be a bit special. therefore, i took time to gather as much info about the apts as i could after a bad experience on our first stay at the katerina studios ( yack!) i am actaually a travel agent for the first choice group, and all i can say is that if anyone should come to me wanting to go to sidari, the only accomodation i would recomend is the kanali, the rooms are lovely, the view outstanding and the food and service is second to none! hence the extra stone i came back with!!! jenny & spiros are the loveliest most welcoming couple and really add to the pleasure of the stay. i have nothing negative to say about our stay at kanali, thanks jenny & spiros, see you next year. x

We have recently returned from our third stay at the Kanali, it is becoming like a second home!! This time my husband and I took our 1-year-old dasughter, the first time we had taken her abroad. The Kanali and the Aquarious Taverna are so accomodating when you have a young child, best place we could of taken her on her first trip abroad. Another fantastic holiday had by us all, look forward to seeing you all in May hopefully. xx

Attn: Chris Troman - in reply to your query - I believe that at the moment the Kanali is on contract only to First Choice Holidays. You would probably have to book through them.

The BEST choice you cound have made Andy - brilliant is the only word to describe the Kanali Apts. We have been there twice now on consecutive years - they are spotlessly clean, contain everything you could need, including air con, hair dryer, kettle, toaster, hob etc., (not always found in Greek apts!) Double glazing cuts out any noise, although the area is very quiet anyway, but still only a few minutes walk away from the main street of town. Jeni who runs them is English and an absolute jewel! Lovely pool and taverna and small beach too. The only little negative comment I would make insofaras taking young children there is that the apts are at the very edge of an eroding cliff (only a shortish drop mind you) but enough to keep your eye on them IYSWIM ;-)

I just booked here for 2005 , first 2 weeks in June ( afer 1/2 term), myself 30, my wife 30, one daughter aged 1( by next year), and 3 granparents, I've been told these are very good apartments, and the is something todo for everybody, is this correct,is there anything to watch out for

No ant problem but lots and lots of mosquitoes (whole of Corfu not just here), we took a mosquito net bought from camping shop and used drawing pins to put over french doors (like net curtain) so we could open then and get a breeze but no nasty bites, these mossis are almost immune to the insect repellant so take care !

I VISITED SIDARI FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MAY 2004 WE STAYED AT KANALI APPARTMENTS,WE COULD NOT HAVE WISHED FOR BETTER FRIEDS,CLEAN,HELPFULL,YAMAS SPIROS,EFHARISTO ALL OF YOU,I WILL BE BACK IN SEPTEMBER 2004 ALL BEING WELL..... LOVE IRENE XXXX

Just back from a week stay at the Kanali and we could not have asked for a better holiday. The apartments were spotless and the whole complex had a friendly feel about it. Nothing was too much for Jeni and Spiros was the life and soul any night in the Taverna. We will definitely go back!

Just found this site by accident.. was looking to see if any good offers came up for the Kanali apts for this autumn. We have visited the Kanali twice now, went last september (2003) and two yrs previous. Jenni & Spiros & all the staff were very friendly. Nothing to much trouble for any of them. A welcome drink on your arrival... and a sad farewell on your departure. Like others, i to think you couldnt find a much better location for a relaxing holiday. The views from our studio apartment (much bigger than most studios), were fantastic. Each one had a sea & pool view, at no extra cost either!! Food served throughout the day in the Aquarious taverna is excellent. Even if u do try other resteraunts... i guarantee, you`ll choose to eat there more! Spiros also kept a well stocked bar.... a must for a 2 week holiday!...... but have to say.... does the poor bloke ever sleep??? Even if u`ve ventured further afield for a night, he`s always happy to serve you..... even if its late when u return!!! We loved the fact that you were so near to the beach in these apartments as well, that is if u can bring yourselves to move from the ample sunbeds around the pool. Once again a big thumbs up for a great holiday all round. Well done Jenni & spiros. We arrived as holiday makers..... but left as friends. keep up the good work!!

Steve and I enjoyed our visit in June 2002 so much we went back in September. Last year we moved and couldn't get back, but we miss Jeni and Spiros so much, we are determined to return to the Kanali Appt Hotel in 2004 (at least once !) Just try and find better, friendlier, cleaner accommodation - I bet you can't ! The food at the Aquarius is second to none - we didn't want to eat anywhere else as it didn't live up to their standards; the entertainment is great fun - join in if you want to, watch from the sidelines if you'd rather not ! it's still great fun.

Did anyone who has stayed at these apartments have any trouble with ants ? ? ?

My fiance & myself just got back from a week's holiday here & although the weather could have been better, we had a fantastic time. The apartments are great, very comfortable, spacious & clean with daily cleaners, fully equipped even down to the toaster. Jeni always greets new arrivals no matter what time of day (or night!) & cannot do enough for you to make sure you have a great holiday. With free safety deposit boxes & air conditioning in the rooms what more could you want? (apart from the brilliant location & views). My 2nd visit to Sidari, 1st to Kanali & we'll definitely be back - next time hopefully for longer.

our appartments were great we found jenni and spiros very helpful, friendly ,sidari is very green and relaxing we liked everything about it .

Very clean and well maintained appartments - way above usual greek standard. Jeni the owner is very friendly and helpfull and seems to work 24 hours a day, met us at 4am when we arrived which was a lovely thing to do.

Appartments situated up concrete track (200m) from central area in the Canal D'Amor area, supermarket/restaurants down the bottom of the track, lots of choice available and its about 10-15 mins into the center of Sidari.

View from appartments was great - 20 meters from the sea (cliff collapsed when we were there so was a bit closer after!) Rooms were good sized and had air con (limited times of the day) mini oven and hob, toaster, kettle, lots of plates, bowls, cutlery and even provided a tea towel. Maids came 5 times in our week and changed bedding twice - plenty of bath towels available and there were plenty of plugs available in the rooms as well. Nice sized balcony with furniture, secure front door and mini safe provided in reception free of charge.

Pool area very nice and views over sea lovely lots of sunbeds as well but some ended up in the shade later in the day - pool was freezing though !

We really enjoyed our stay at Kanali and would definately reccomend it as there are only 24 appartments in total their really is a nice friendly atmosphere all the time.

We have tried for two years to book at Kanali, at last we are going 22 August 2003! Jenni and Spiros and their staff have always made us feel welcome as visitors to the Taverna (Aquarius). The service and welcome we know we will recieve can only be recommended to all. The food and the accomodation is without doubt the best in Sidari!

Haven't been yet but am going in Sept with First Choice - try their website for late deals got 1 week at Kanali from Gatwick for £202 per person inc meals, transfers etc. Chose this accomodation because of reviews on holidaysuncovered.com and this site

My husband Marc and I have just returned from our second stay at the Kanali Apartments in Sidari. This Hotel, run by Jenni and the Aquarious Taverna near by, run by Spiros and his wonderful staff, is second to none. The apartments are spacious, very clean and most have the most wonderful sea view, overlooking the Canal D'Amour. The gardens surrounding the hotel are well cared for with lovely flowers and the greek ladies who clean the rooms are always polite and work very hard. The Aquarious Taverna food is absolutely wonderful you won't find much better in Sidari, Spiros and his staff are so obliging and helpful, the entertainment is also good in the upstairs bar with karaoke and quiz's. By night the remaining rock from the Canal D'Amour is lit up by Spiros making this the perfect spot for a romatic meal. This is simply a 110% holiday and would definately recommend it. We will definately be returning next season.

The first time me and my dad and my brother went to kanali app. it was the first time we had been to Corfu it's now 4 years on and were still coming back The kanali app. are the most outstanding apparments around. They have friendly service and the best view around. Jeni and Spiros are so nice and 4 years on and they still know who we are and welcome us with open arms these apparments have had 110% put into them im glad we stayed there!

Kanali Apartments are excellent in every way! We had an excellent holiday! We are planning to go back next year. Jeni went out of her way to help us. Spiros and staff were very friendly and helpful! Great food and the apartments were very clean and spacious with fantastic views!

The Kanali apartments are the best in sidari. Jeni the manager will do anything to make sure your stay there is even more enjoyable. The apartments are clean, spacious and have amazing views !! The aquarius taverna run by spiros is great. The food and service is excellent. A top quality holiday!! Cant wait to go back in the summer.

You will not find better on the island. The apartments are superb with wonderful views & cleanliness excellent. Jeni can not do enough for you to ensure your stay is enjoyable & memorable. The adjoining taverna, Aquarius, run by Spiros & first class staff is 2nd to none! Food & service is really excellent as is the view from the restaurant & the comfortable bar above.
We have been visiting Sidari for some 12 years now & this is without doubt SIMPLY THE BEST!!

The views from our room over the bay were fantastic, the weather was brilliant, the accomodation was exceptianlly clean and well maintained. ALL STAFF were second to none, Jeni was always there when you required assistance what ever the time. The food at the Aquarius Tavern was consistently of a high quality, with top quality service co-ordinated by Spiros. Can't wait till we return!

We were told we were being transferred to these apartments on our arrival in Corfu as there was a problem with our original booking. We were very lucky!!! The seaview was incredible, the apartment was spacious and clean, a swimming pool with the apartments and a few steps to the beach. We also had the added bonus of the Aquarius Taverna with wonderful food and entertainment. Jeni and Spiros do a brilliant job, we hope to be back one day!!!!!!!!!

my friend and i booked a holiday off the cuff as my honeymoon never happened,so when we got to the hotel we where pleasantly surprised to be greeted in the early hours with a smile,it is one of the friendliest and most helpful hotels i have come across,jeni was always there with help and advice and spiros was a laugh a minute,views and sea where stunning and its just a short walk away from the nightlife,would definitely recommend it and i will be going again:-)

This place rocks! Myself and my wife spent our honeymoon here with some family and friends as well. It was one of the nicest places you can imagine. It is located right on the edge of the sea, easily accesible. Apartments very clean and Jeni & Spiros very friendly. So good we're going back in October this year.

We have visited Sidari for 14 years and have seen many changes,the Kanali appartments managed by Jenny and the adjacent Aquarius restaurant owned and run by Spiro have been two of its finest improvments. The Kanali Apartments in Sidari are the best in Sidari - only 3 years old they have quite a reputation - a very good one at that. Jenny, the manager (english) will do ANYTHING & EVERYTHING to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The Aquarius taverna is also very good, excellent staff and food with one of the best views in Sidari. 100/100.
