hellooooooooooooo everybody ..zoie here this place was the best ever! i want to go back next year but iam going to crete hopefully it wil be same as corfu!! the staff was just ace  so freidnly it was unreal! maria..alex..denis.. miss them all!! the apartments were lovely aswell very clean the food was great the pool was so clean and the best we ever seen and most sun beds in one place didnt have to get up early and put our towels down! met so many lovely people! the bars down the strip were so good! and livley for me and my best mate we partied till like 4 and 5 in the morning and had our and lil dance to chocalate! wiv maria she loved it  we will return in the future for sure i loved it so good gosh my gosh a loved it best holiday ever!xxxxxx

Brilliant place,brilliant staff,brilliant pool,brilliant cocktails,brilliant food.absolutely great.Would definitely go back for the friendliest staff alone.Great holiday.Just a shame we had to come home

Have just returned from the Lagoon apartments with my boyfriend and can honestly say that they are the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Maria, Alex and Dennis worked so hard in the bar serving food and drink till late and we had a laugh with all, Maria is very beautiful too!

location is perfect, close to the beach and the main strip but far enough away not to hear any noise, supermarket is literally just outside the pool area!

We will be returning next year for definate!

Yes Gemma there is a Supermarket about 30 metres away and quite resonable as well.  There is a cheaper and bigger supermarket the other side of Sidari.  It is about a 15 min walk.  The lagoon apartments are basic but well maintained and clean.  The pool I think is one of the best in Sidari.

We went to Lagoon apartments in june for the 1st time. It was our 1st family holiday. My five year old son fell in love with Maria and has her picture next to his bed (awh) he cant wait to go back next year.

hey ken,i would reccomend sea breeze restuarant for great food and an entertaining greek night and bed bar for great food again and lots of it(the portions are huge,and reasonably priced) and they have very comfy seats.also the bays at canald'amour are beautiful although small.hope you enjoy it as much as we did xxx

i returned from the lagoon partments last week and really enjoyed my holiday there,the staff where great and mad ethe holiday ,an i have to disagree will joe williams(earlier comment) who said that maria(the bar maid) would be rude to you if you where a young attractive girl,she was lovely to me and the rest of my group(2 pretty 16 year olds) and was not rude at all and i would love to go back again next year.a special mention also goes to dennis the bar man,the holiday would not have been the same without him(no matter how many times he tried to throw me in the pool) 

I am going to the Lagoon Apartments this Friday and judging by the comments it looks like it could be a good holiday.

I have just got back frm the lagoon apartments and i had a realy good time an will definately be returning as soon as possible :) All the saff (Alex, Dennys, Maria, Paul and Maria) were all welcoming an were very helpful. They all did as much as possible to please you and are all entertaing 

I would advise anyone- young, old, male, female, pretty or not to go there because they give you a very good holiday to remember!

I miss it and everyone loads  but cant wait for next year as i will definately be returning to see everyone again as i cant think of anywhere else id rather stay!  xx

 

We stayed at the Loggon Apts in august, the rooms were lovely and the location fantastic we booked a late deal and were really lucky to be where we were. The only bad thing I have to say is that it is for families you wont find many young people there and if you are a young attractive girl then the girl who works in the bar maria wont like you very much. She was rude to me and every other young pretty girl there. We would stay there again if shes not there!

came back from lagoon apts last week for the third time and had such a great time have booked again for next august. lovely clean rooms and very friendly welcoming staff including spiros, maria, alex, dennis, lisa and the long suffering entertainments host paul!didn't venture far from the apartments, didn't feel the need to, didn't get much sleep either as the bar stayed open late and felt naturally that we had to make full use of the facility - and the massive vodka, lime and lemonades!!!!!kids had a great time and were determined to go back next year. met loads of lovely people -many of whom we had met in previous years and had had to listen to the dreadful attempts at kareoke which we insist we will not do but somehow get conned into doing!!can't honestly think of anywhere else we'd like to go to

Does anyone know the email address of The Blue Lagoon Apartments? My 16 year old daughter wants to have her exam results emailed to her while we are away. Looking forward to our holiday at The Blue Laggoon, and reading the comments and quotes I think we made a very wise choice in booking this year. We will be there from 18th August 2006 so if any Black Country folk or WBA fans are there come and say hi, and i'm sure we can share a drink together. Even the people dressed in Old Gold and Black (wolves) Boing, Boing. Garry.

Many thanks for the advice and pic. Yes i joined that site last week and you get quicker feed back on there than you do on here. I didnt know about the draw though. Have you any more pics of lagoon? My boyfriend's sister and her boyfriend are coming away with us this year and its their first time abroad and they are very interesting in seein more pics so that would be much appreciated. Have you any of the pool bar or studio/apartment?

we will also be at the lagoon early august,with 2 14 year old girls and 12 year old boy. this will be our sixth stay and i@m sure your son wont be bored louise. the beach is very close by and there are lots of water sports. there are also some good waterparks close by.

we are visiting lagoon in summer and family r joining us can anyone recomend any apartments close to the lagoon

all of the staff that work there are extremely friendly exspecaily Alex there will do any thing for if you ask they also have all of the football games that are availble (good place to go for next year for the world cup) the food is nice and is availble to take back to your the pool is a adult and a childs shallow pool there is kids clubs and two pool tables the is entertainment every night films karoke and bingo but also quizes over all a great place to go

Hey up all. We had a superb time at the lagoon apts. I know it's boring when everybody goes on about how great the staff are there but they really do make the place what it is. They are always friendly and helpful despite working unbelieveabley long hours, and are always up for a laugh. The place is kept clean and tidy and probably has the best kept pool in Sidari. The apts are in a great location and are within pukeing distance of all the main bars and resturants but far enough away so as not to keep you awake at night.    We made some amazing friends from Donny. We will never forget the laughs we had with them. They will never forget the fun and frolics they had in room 208. Look for our picture behind the bar.   In reponse to the comments from Mr Ouzo & fanta lemon(darren)and Mrs gin & slim with ice 'n' a slice I wonder if they've forgot the the Potters beat the Owls 2-0 at Hillsbourough theis season. UP THE POTTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   If any body from Stoke is reading this then go into Fagens bar in canal d'mor and ask Vinny the Greek to tell you the story about his favourite pub in Blurton. It will make you laugh.  Anybody going on holiday to the Lagoon will love it. I wish I was coming with you.  P.S Don't forget your mozzie cream, you'll need it unless you've got rhino skin

hiya all, shazza and fanny here (darren &emma )we stayed at the lagoon for 2 weeks in june. what a fortnight,the place was spot on lovley and clean ,very friendly people,alex maria spiros thanks for a lovley holiday.not for getting the pool cleaner,met a couple from stoke who have since become special friends,we also met a group from southhamton who got married would like 2 get in touch but dont no how.any way the best till last, my wife came with a little somthing,in her belly,yes she got pregnant in the lagoon room 208.........we was over the moon due march 8th,any way sidari is spot on, the lagoon best bye far.so down with the potters &up with the owls bye for now every body,love (the suddys).

hey everyone! i just got back from the lagoon apartments 5 days ago and it was brilliant! food was lush, apartments were clean! the staff were amazing! we made great friends with them, Alex the barman was really funny, what a lovely guy! maria was always up for a laugh, and she got me dancing, doin belly dancing everywhere! haha,was really fun! spiros was very nice too and paul doin the bingo and everything else, he was really canny! and nicos was friendly, they were all amazing, and last but definitley not least dennis who was amazing who i could go on and on about and not forgetting maria who people have not mentioned she worked in reception, thanx for ya help! these guys work sooooo hard, they never stop! hey guys! thanx for an amazing holiday! il be seeing ya soon, Love Gemma x

I am going with family to Lagoon Apartments in late October. Can anyone tell me what weather is like then and if there is still plenty to do late in the season/

Been to Lagoon apartments four times in the last three years, and will be back 15th august this year.

 Spiro, alex, maria, dennis, nicos the pool man and maria in reception are all excellent host and make you feel very welcome, we are treated like friends every time we go there, the food is very good, the pool spotless The location is perfect, about 150 yards to the beach and main strip, best to book any trips down town and not through the reps as they are too expensive.most of the guest there are regulars and have been there several times before, you can't get better recomendations then that, meeting friends out there again this year and will no doubt have another brilliant holiday, can't wait to see everyone,

Just came back yesterday form lagoon apartments in Sidari n myself and my family had the best time ever! It was out 6th time and we have alrwady booked to go again next year which will be out 7th time, we booked ity direct with spiros n alex and we have done the same fot next year to! Dont have second thoughts about goin hear as it iz brilliant and theres something for everyone and the people are friendly especially Alex, Maria and Dennis who work behind the bar!

Hey every1! ive been to sidari before about 3 years ago and it was amazing! loved the food,people are brill,canal d'amour was amazing, swam under the "tunnel of love" haha! and that restaurant on top of there is lush (can't remember the name, if any1 knows email me at GEMMAHAS@aol.com) well im goin to the lagoon apartments early august and can't wait!goin with family, so will b chilled out!which im lookin fwd to. heard loads about it nd it sounds brill,we went for dinner there last time i went, it ws cool.seemed really nice.well if u all are goin there will prb see u there Gemma. X btw if u guys are worried aboutt he smell, i can't remember there bein a smell,was fine then!

Just got back you could not fault this place if you tried we had a big room over looking the pool, the place is spotless the guy who cleans the pool was a star, All the staff are very helpfull and friendly, Lots of entertainment there to be had as well the guy who doe's the entertainment is from Derby but don't let that put you off You are on the door step to everything but you can't hear a thing, 10/10 A+

Me and my girlfriend just got back from lagoon apts last week and we had a great time. The apts are quite comfortable and are kept very clean. The apts are about 150yrds from the beach and about 250 yrds from the start of the strip where all the main bars are(but you can't here them in your room at night). Alex the barman is a great bloke and looks young for 38 and Maria the waitress is a good laugh. And not forgetting Nikos, the coolest pool cleaner in Corfu. The best bar we went was the PALAZZO bar where George & George will make you the best(and strongest) cocktail on the strip. Our favourite resturant we went to was the 3 LITTLE PIGS which is a greek taverna that has plate smashing and fire walking and bouzouki dancing every night, and the food is great too! But there seems to be more places to eat in sidari than there are days in the year. If anybody from Stoke is reading this and you know your pubs in Blurton then go to Fagens bar and ask Vinney the greek what his favourite pub on finstock ave is called! All in all we had a fantastic holiday!!!

  Just come back from lagoon apts after a 2 week holiday which we attended our friends wedding in sidari,and cant wait to go back, words cant express what a great time we had and how lovely and clean the pool and rooms were!!! Everyone was so friendly the bar staff Spiros,maria,alex, the compare paul and even the guy who cleans the pool and what a great job he does too!!

If you are going to the Laggon you have no worries about having a good time xx  

We have stayed at these apartments twice (2000 and 2003). We had 2 weeks of fantastic holiday and the bar members were very friendly. The rooms were kept in very good condition and the maids thouroughly cleaned the apartment. The pool and area was kept very clean and to a high standard. We will always come back. PS. We love Dennis. (bar member)

 just spent two weeks in corfu at the lagoon hotel only one word too describe it FANTASTIC the apartments are great and very clean and the staff are superb alex,maria,dennis and nicos all are very friendly and add to the enjoyment of the holiday and steve the entertainer is very good at his job it was my first vist to corfu i will be going again and the lagoon hotel the perfect accomodation rating for the lagoon and its staff a+++++++++++++++++++

Just booked to go 20th June, Is there a kids club?

I have booked 2 weeks in August for my family.My daughter is 12yrs going on 16yrs is there much to do for someone of that age.Also I have read all the reports on the appartment and the area and I am very impressed apart from the comments about the sewage smells.Is it really that bad?

Our first visit to Lagoon was in August 2003, and we were bowled over by the friendliness of Alex, Dennis , Maria ,Spiros and even Nikos with his limited use of the English language, who keeps the pool and surrounding area immaculatly clean. The accomodation is also kept spotlessly clean, as is the bar restuarant.  The food is fresh, good value for money ,tasty, and served with a smile.We have always made a point of never returning to the same holiday destination before ,as there is such a big world to see, but this place and the people who run it certainly changed our mind, and 2004 saw us return for what turned out to be an even better time , as we were treated as returning friends rather than just paying guests.Sidari itself is charming, with just the right mix of everything; the beach is only a hop skip and a jump away from the apartments,and is clean and extremly safe for children.There is just the right atmosphere in the evenings at the poolside bar, friendliness beyond belief from all the staff, who in turn encourage their guests to be as friendly to each other and to join in quizz nights and kareoke sessions, not to mention bingo and film nights.We will be returning this year and cannot wait for August to roll round and to see everyone againThouroughly reccomend this lovely complex.

hello all we r staying at the lagoon appts in june 05 r they ok and do the local restraunts cater 4 vegies as my wife is 1.....we went 2 zante last year and really enjoyed it.but this place and appts come highly reccomended. whats the weather like we arrive 6th june?????.

We are going to corfu in june 2005 for a friends wedding and staying in lagoon apartments what excursions are there for families(Adults and children)?
Have the app got air conditioning?
Do the app look out at sea or pool etc?
Where there any mosquitos about?

Returned last week from 2 weeks at the lagoon with husband and 3 kids. We had a wonderful time. Pool is cleanest i've ever seen, cleaned religiously morning and night by Nicos. Never went to the beach because the kids were having such a great time in the pool with lilos and inflatables - also there is pool chute and basket ball stand. Free sunbeds, umbrellas and free safety deposit boxes. Maria on reception is a lovely girl and hoping to come to Scotland next year to study at University. Alex, Maria and Dennis in the bar become like family and we were very sad to say goodbye to them. The apartments are basic but very clean and have everything you need. Everything is on your doorstep - supermarket, beach, main strip - location was brilliant. Always said would never go back to the same place twice as the world is a big place but will definately be going back here if only for the apartments and people - fantastic.

You dont need to take a kettle, everything you need is there and spotless.......

For everyone who is thinking about going to the Lagoon apartments, just do it, we never go back to the same place twice but have broken that rule once already (may) and are going back again on Monday of next week, and WE JUST CANT WAIT!!! pool is spotless, staff are brillant and location is excellent, apartments are exactly what you need and practically on the beach! what more can you ask for, This will be our third time in just over 12months, word of mouth is the best recommendaton, and everyone loves Spiros, Alex & Maria......Enjoy!

Well what can i say apart from absolutly fantastic!!! We went for two weeks in august for our honeymoon and had the best time! The apartments are great, clean and tidy! the pool is fantastic and the bar is too. The food is really nice and Dennis in the bar is the most helpful person!!! Plenty going on in the bar at night from quizzes, karooke, bingo and the lastest films! Nice and close to the beach to. Excursions are brill but make sure you go down on the town to value plus and book and not htrough the reps, the same trips for at least half the price!!

julie u wouldnt find a better place to stay! the thing bout this place is u can b realllllyyy close to the night life and to the nicest restaurants and yet u cant hear a sound wen u go bk to ur room! it was so relaxed there as well because nearly everyone had bin more then once. the bar staff are lovely and i miss them so much! best appartment u can stay in!! if u go say hi to alex spiros maria and dennis for me! hope to go bk next year with my best mate again! hoep u decide on this one u wont regret it!

We stayed there last year in june and it was fantastic the bar area was great there was entertainment every night the staff alex,maria,spiros were all gr8 i dont think i saw an unhappy face the whole time, we liked it so much were going this year again in august

I am going to Lagoon Apartments in Sidari on 1/10/04 with my husband and 3 kids, girls aged 15, 12 and a boy aged 6. Is there going to be enough to keep them all amused for 2 weeks.

What can I say........fantastic, brilliant, superb. The staff at the Lagoon are its main asset, nothing is too much trouble and everything done with a smile. Alex, Dennis, Maria, Pool guy (sorry didnt get your name)in fact everyone.....even the mozzies bit you with a smile on their face!! If your thinking about going out there JUST DO IT!! The lagoon apartments are superb and are run by nice freindly staff my wife and myself had a very relaxed holiday and would recommend the Lagoon.The location is great because it is in the middle of two holidays, down the road and turn right you have the bright lights of Sidari and down the road and turn left you have the more relaxed and quieter Canal de Amour all in all a great holiday.

forget anywhere else in sidari, lagoon apartments is the place to go, very clean, location excellent, alex and spiros are excellent hosts, so is Maria in the bar and Maria in reception, we had a wonderful time and will be coming back, lets put it this way, everyone we spoke to there had been there 3/4/5 times before, right by the beach, two minutes from the town and with Dave doing quizz night and bingo and a two man man band one night a week it was excellent, SEE YOU VERY SOON ALEX AND SPIROS AND THE TWO MARIAS AND ALSO DAVE XXXX

Went there June last year, going back 16th june this year. spiros and alex were excellent, The pool, apartment, food, are excellent. My 5 year old son had the time of his life and made lot of friends, lagoon is close to the beach and town, sea is nice and shallow for kids, locals are very friendly.
the pool is cleaned every day and is spotless.There is a water park nearby but the one further inland is a lot bigger and better and is a brilliant day out ( can't remember what it is called ) If you want a good family holiday you should try lagoon apartments, highly recomended.

What can I say, everything I could have wanted from a holiday I got from the Lagoon. My daughter Victoria had a wonderful time. The pool was 1st class and very clean. Food is very good and they are willing to cook anything you require. An excellent time had by all.

We had such a brilliant time that we are going back this year. 1st time ever I have returned to a resort. Spiros & Alex are there for your every wish. Entertainment & food was excellent. You couldn't wish for a better time. Excellent for children.
