   it's like home from home. the rooms are all ways clean the food is good, with eveything on the door step. cannot wait to go back..x......

Just returned from our first visit to Corfu. Stayed at the Melinda and could not fault it. Gail, Adonni and George were lovely and looked after us very well. Addonni even came back one night to provide some food as it had been pouring with rain all day and a load of us did not want to go and get soaked. Will definitely return to Corfu and the Melinda.

went there in june this year Gayle Donny +George were great already booked again for next year the breakfasts were really lovely no need to eat out each day they cant do enough for you best holiday yet (even my husband enjoyed himself) the rooms were clean and airy and cleaned regularly and the pool was great cant wait to go back Terry +Chris Linden Bristol

 just returned from 3 weeks at the millinda we had a brilliant time gayle adonni and george were brilliant  they make the best sunday lunches in roda the rooms were bacic but very clean the pool area was spotless.thanks for a great hloiday we will see you next year ann and glen hislop newcastle. 

my son is staying here all by himself because this is the only place we could get him in being no place else would take a single
just wanted to know how busy it is will he be ok by himself i know he will be 18 and we are at the alphdite but u still worry any comments good or badf most welcome

we go to the melinda every year some times twice, the apts are really nice and the owners are the best, the apts are clean and they have a toaster, kettel, oven and even a shower cutain !!!!!!!!!!  its the sort of place people go back to year after year, so if you like freindly people then the melinda is the place to go.

Does anyone have any pictures of the Melinda apartments, as want to go on hols there this summer but cant find a lot of pictures? PLEASE HELP!!!!!! have rated on what i have heard about this hotel etc....

 We have just returned from Corfu and our 2 week stay at the Melindas Apartments. This was one of our most enjoyable holidays we have had and everyone connected with the Melindas are so friendly and helpful. The pool and bar are excellent and George serves the best pint of Mythos in Roda!  The apartments are within easy reach of the main resort over a main road, but are situated far enough away to avoid any noise from the many Bars and restaurants. We would definitely recommend. Thanks for a great holiday and we look forward to seeing you all again soon.

We really enjoyed our stay at these apartments, the location is great - just a short walk to the tavernas and shops, the pool is lovely and so are the pool bar snacks.  The Greek Night is not to be missed.  Thanks to George, Gayle (who was brilliant when I fell ill) and Jenny once again for a great holiday. hope to see you all again .

To the Gress family - and George of course!!!  Had a fab time at Melinda apartments - Alex could give Tom Cruise a run for his money anyday behind the bar - keep practicing the Cheeky Vimtos though!!  George, the owner of Melinda apartments was great entertainment value - and even rescued my shoes from a near drowning episode!!  Very friendly accommodation - and was a pleasure to meet the Gress family too - thanks for the advice re; Cyprus!!  Lots of love Alex for your return to Roda next year! In responce to Denise Jacksons question, you get barely any noise at all from the Sound Club near the appartments. The only time we heard shouts/whimpers from there in our two week stay is when England got knocked out the World Cup on penalties!! Hope you have a good time!

Am just looking at booking at the Melinda. Slightly concerned about the noise from the disco. Does this depend on which building/apartment you are in? How does the annexe differ from the apartments? Thanks

hi.we went to corfu oct 2006,very nice.we had booked holiday to corfu 2007 at the melinda,so we thought we would have a look.seems to be a small family run place very friendly,next to a main road.2 bed apt we were told are on the ground floor close to the bar.dont know about cots.hope you have a great time

My wife Kath and i love Roda, and for the last 2 years have stayed at the Melinda Apts. We will be returning again this year,and look forward to seeing all our old friends at the Melinda, and in Roda. We would recomend the resort and the Melinda, to anyone thinking of going to Corfu. In answer to Pauls questions the beach is about 1/2 a mile away from the hotel. The food is wonderful with Greek cuisine and English too. Prices avry depending on what you want to buy obviously!! My dad rented out a car when we were there and it cost him 300 euros for a week. this might seem a lot but the only way we found this offer was by looking around. The holiday rep told us a car would be about 500 euros for a week and she was wrong. Whatever you do,  DO NOT rent a car from the operaters!!! Have a great holiday, just as i did!!

Sarah is a fool! I'm 13 and cant work out how can she say such outreagous things about such a wonderful place!! A wonderful owner is what makes this place so great! George is the name he goes by and this man is wonderful. He is a great person to talk to and dont worry non-greek speaking people as George can speak fleunt English, as he lives here in the UK for the winter. me and him had great fun. Played pool, cleaned the pool and he found it great to chuck me in the pool!!

Just back from a stay at the Melinda. Have to say its one of the best holidays we've ever had. Its a lovely relaxing place with plenty of space and just in the right spot (close to, yet not in the middle of the village). Our room was great with a lovely balcony to sit out on looking over the complex. The family are lovely and make it the place to stay. Everyone is so kind and helpfull especially Andonis & his wife Gail, as busy as they are they always have time for you. Even the cleaner always has a smile and nothing is too much trouble. It says a lot when you meet people who have been regulars to the complex for so many years the bar is nice offering many a laugh with Jenny who's really pleasant... & George of course... how he stays awake after his nights out... all but amazing - didn't get to meet his wife as she lives in England - maybe next year as will definatly be back - maybe a bit earlier in the year, the weather was good but a bit over cast. Corfu town was spectacular in the evening & well worth the visit if you're on the island. All in all we could not find a single fault so a very big thanks to you all.

No air con in the room im afraid...well, not when we stayed there last year. Very nice appartment and lovely pool too. Most accomadations on corfu dont have air con, fan are usually provided locally. Gayle, if you are reading this, say hi to Jenni from Jim&Gareth and get her to write.xx

  What a super place, the children were able to play in and around the pool with no worries.  It is quiet and not for those who like a lively holiday.  George does work all the hours under the sun, with the help of his wife Alison and young Jenny. 

Just returned from two weeks at the Melinda. First off, the rooms are pretty basic, though they do have safety deposit boxes and fans available (for a small charge). However the only time we spent in the room was to sleep so it hardly mattered. They were clean, so for us that was enough. The location is not great, Roda's only a small resort and the Melinda is on the fringe. Having said that it was only 5-10 minutes to the Beach, though it did start to become a drag in the second week, having to cross the main road (not too busy to cross) and head off down into the old town.

The big plus point at the Melinda is the excellent pool and bar area, it definately has one of the largest areas around the pool, with loads of space and plenty of sunbeds. George who runs the bar is excellent and really makes a day at the Melinda poolside enjoyable.

All in all money well spent.
