We stayed at Amorosa this August (2010) and thought the apartments were lovely, very clean with maid service and spacious. The gardens and pool were beautiful. The owners (not German but Greek again) were all very friendly and helpful as were all the staff. Would highly recommend them.
amorosa apartments have been taken over by a german company
so us brits cannot use it any more
Does anyone have contact details for these apartments?
Unfortunately amarosa apartments are no longer available through thoms cook,i don't know who they will be with in the future, but i received an e-mail from them a couple of days ago notifying me of the situation.
Can anybody help me???Ive been looking for weeks for a tour operator who has the amorosa apartments.Cannot find 1 anywhere. Are they only available to book direct. If so does anyone know the email or website?Thanx.
We have just arrived back (after 14 nights stay) from one of the best holidays we have taken in quite a few years. The family consisted a range of ages starting at 13 up to 60+, everyone felt that all their needs were met. Petros and his mum, along with Georgia and Olga go out of their way to ensure that you have a great time.
The accommodation is pretty basic, but as you only sleep (well we did) in the apartment it is adequate and clean! The pool area is kept clean and tidy with enough sun beds for everyone. As there are only 16 apartments on the site everyone got to know each other which only enhanced our experiance.
Greek night was a great laugh and we ended up doing it twice, the price we paid was well worth it just for the meal alone.
We will be booking up to go again as soon as we can!
BIG HELLO to everyone we met on the holiday
Love to all from Kev,Christine,Cameron & Andrew (aka Squidge)

If your going there LUCKY YOU. We hope to go back soon.oh and hi Georgia too she does a great job as well
Hi ben,
hi to petros and family,
Spent the first week in September 2007 in the Amorosa Appartments. Had a lovely relaxing time.... they are in the middle of two resorts. the local people are really friendly, I was glad visited most of the recommended eateries and bars. Petros, Yannis and Mama are fabulous hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent, the bar service was great. I think they make the holiday as the apartment owner is not around usually. The pool was clean and there are plenty sunbeds around, the sea and beach is just over a very small road. the view was fantastic. A great place to relax and do a bit of walking to the two nearby resorts. PS Terri our Thompsons Rep was great too !!!!!!!!!!!
hiya!!
Becca and me went on 22nd june for a week with 3 other girls and had a great time, we could not fault the place it was close to everything we could wish for and Petros and his family were great his mum is a great cook, his brother could work harder to help Petros out more, Petros works to hard, he took me and Bec into town after work one evening to show us the nitelife which was really good of him, he was a great Host and the Creek night was the best fun we have had in ages, I would def go back and recommend the resort to everyone, the only problem we had was it got up to 47oc when we were out there so Air conditioning in the apartments would have been nice.
Hi, my wife Sara and I stayed here for 2 weeks at the beginning of the season in May 2007. We expected a relaxing holiday and thats what we got. The whole place we could not fault ,the place was very well maintained. We were made very welcome by Petros and his family. Only 5 -10 mins from nearby bars like Crusoes and Pirates which we loved , excellent restauarants such as Newport and Kind Hearted Place ,the beach on your doorstep what more do you want?. We had a great time relaxing by the pool, and spent many late nights at the bar with Petros and the other guests. Petros keeps the bar open till whenever the last person leaves, which is a good thing, it was usually us!! Had a brilliant time and some laughs and we could not imagine anyone having a bad word against the place. We loved it and hope to go back again , the sooner the better. great people, excellent food, and hospitality etc . The place would suit almost everyone , after all the holiday is what you make of it, and boy did us Geordies do that!!
I stayed at Amorosa Apartments in May 2007 and had just the best time for years. It was all it was meant to be. Quiet, clean, excellent value for money and the family that run the site are brill. I can't say enough about Petros and his family. They are magic. Petros and his brother run the premises for the most part, his mum does the cooking, and what a cook! You will not get a better meal anywhere on Corfu. I mean it, she's brill. Dad, as far as I could make out, did the books and generally lent a hand as and when. The whole package is "just right" The accomodation is more than sufficient for needs although we could have done with a couple of electric fans to cool the air sometimes. Petros is the best bar person I have come across in all my travels and is so friendly & helpful, I cannot give him enough support, his efforts to accomodate and help are legendary. (I've seen others say the same and I have to endorse them) He is the one behind Paul(it was Paul's birthday that day) and Petros bought him a birthday cake with candles & fireworks on it. That's the sort of person he is, generous and thoughtful. That is not to say that the other members of the family are to be left out, they are all superb at their job and the teamwork they provide makes your holiday so much better. We didn't use the pool but it was more than adequate for the premises and was popular with other guests. The bar is open from around 9am to pretty much whenever! We were there until after 3am one morning but we all felt rotten the next day because Petros looked so tired but he never once complained and was his usual happy self. I went with 3 friends and they all confirm what I have said here. If you want a good value for money, quiet, excellent holiday then this is the place for you. If you go, please tell Petros....Jon, Walter, Paul & Carol send their love and WE WILL SEE HIM AGAIN! (Hope that doesn't make him give up the job!!!) Go there, enjoy. Jon
stayed at the amarosa in october 2004 with my husband robert and my son david,we had a great holiday there. We made some good friends there and have continued to keep in touch with them, having been on holiday with them twice since. We are all returning to the amarosa in october 2007 it is in such a lovely relaxing position with the beach right on your doorstep. They serve good food at good prices and the apartments are of a good clean standard the staff at the amarosa are all very easy going and helpfull especially petros who was very good with my son.It is just a shame that natalie and andreas are no longer there, still i'm sure our holiday will be brill just the same.Roda is about a ten minute walk away where you will find plenty of tavernas, shops, etc: you must try nikos family restaurant its great. For anyone who has not been to the amarosa give it a try.
The location was excellent for our honeymoon. very quite and peacefull. The Apartment gates open onto the beach and you literally walk into the sea. the bar attendant and his family were very kind and helpfull.
We have just returned from two weeks at the amorosa and it was brilliant, the weather was great, food was excellent and the company even better. We have 3 young children Beth 10 George 9 and Poppy 8 they all said what a wonderfull time they had and send there apologies to Ben & Max whom they tormented, also hi to Trudi,Stacey, Kirsten,Beth and Scott who helped make our holiday better.
Myself and my husband Steve have just got back from the Amarosa Apartments... We booked a last minute deal for 4 nights, and were a little wary of the kind of area that we would be in.. but the Amarosa Apartments are in a lovely, lovely stretch of the beach.. they are clean and well maintained.. Right outside the apartments is the beach. The Bar is suitable for all age groups, there were children, couples etc all there in the evenings and through out the day.. The pool is lovely and suitable for children also, with a smaller separate shallow area. A short walk away are a number of lovely restaurants. Some advice for anybody travelling to Greece, take nappy sacks with you as toilet roll is not to be flushed down the toilet! but placed in a bin at the side of the toilet.. the nappy sacks are an ideal way of keeping your bathroom fresh and clean! Book your trips with the local tour operators, who are not far away.. We went to Paradise Island... It cost 21 Euros each.. This included a coach to the port which is approx 45 minutes away... a glass bottom boat trip out around the coast, and the caves, then a stop to dive off the boat ( water very cold ) then a short ride to paradise beach where a lovely BBQ was held on the beach, with Chicken, Salad, Fresh Bread, unlimited juice, red and white wine... snorkels etc for 2 hours or so and then back on the boat to the port and back to a drop off point.. well worth the money...

This is the second time we have been to these apartments. As last year the accomodation was spotless & a very good size. Andreas, Natalie & Petros were very welcoming and helpful. Even little Effi made the holiday more fun. We have two children, 7 & 5, and this is a very safe place to take them. Although it is set in a very peaceful location - the kids still had pleanty to do. There is a play area out back for the children which is kept spotless. The children's & main swimming pool are well looked after. Even in the bar there was so much room that they could play games without disturbing anyone or just sit & watch a new film. The food in the bar is very good value so you dont have to eat out all the time.In the evening there are various events - bingo, pop quiz, general quiz & even karaoke. We had a room which is attached to the bar but were not disturbed by any noise. I would recommend this to anyone who likes peace & quiet!
We stayed at the Amorosa in October 2004. We had 2 young children with us and it was perfect for them and us! Would recommend Amorosa to anyone. Friendly staff and excellent pool, bar and apartments. Andreas and Pedros looked after the bar superbly! Great location but a bit of a hike into the centre of Roda and very dark at night, but that was not a problem for us!
