Is there any availability in October for two adults and one child.Have been looking but have not come across anything yet.
We stayed at the coral hotel in August of last year.
Myself mum and son had a fantastic time there as we met loads of other tourists who go back year after year.
We were in the apartments just to the left of the hotel and had wonderful views of the sea to one side and the mountains to the other.
We're thinking of booking to go again this year as the staff are very helpful and friendly especialy Kostas and Nikos.
So efaristo poli hope to see you again this year.
Helen Joan and Billy.
CAN ANYBODY TELL ME WHERE THE CORAL APARTHOTEL IS SITUATED NEAR? KNOW RODA QUITE WELL BUT CAN'T THINK WHERE IT IS.
MANY THANKS KERRY X
i went to the coral in july 2002 and thorght it was AMAZING it was the best holiday i've ever been on !! i am only 15 but it was brilliant. i loved the staff there espesialy dimitris who is really SEXY and friendly. i would love to go again i am begging my parents ! i recommend this holiday to anyone, but i think it is mainly for families and young couples as they play music really late which i think is great !
the coral apprtments was ok in cleanliness but as we stayed in the self catering apartments just left of the main hotel it was quiet during the day but as the evening progressed the music got louder and louder and sometimes it was playing until 5am in the morning and i think this is just a bit late especially when there was young families there as well and probably had early morning rise with children, and also the barstaff were friendly enough they were a bit loud at times and even shout at residents as they were walking by to try and get them in for a drink but the hotel was ok but not for a long term holiday
We stayed at the Coral for a week at the beginning of October. It was just what we were looking for, we needed to relax and unwind and we were able to do just that, although the hotel did offer a range of entertainment in the evenings for those guests who wanted a more lively stay. The staff were brilliant and always very helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean and the maid service was very good. Our room overlooked the pool area and we were very impressed with the way that the pool was kept so very clean. The hotel is situated right by the shore but also within a very short walking distance of the shops. Roda offers plenty of choice for eating out and the prices are quite reasonable. We would certainly consider a return visit.
The coral hotel is right on the water front and a short walk to the sandy beach which hire`s out sun lounger`s and fishing rod`s there are also some great places to eat. the filoxena is great, next to this restaurant there is a travel shop which sell`s the same excursion`s as the travel rep for half the price! the east island cruise is a must and at 15 euro`s per person is very reasonable..
we spent one week in roda and loved it the staff at the coral realy made our holiday....nicos and demetri are the best cocktail maker`s
Just got back from our first visit to Corfu... and we loved it! Stayed
at the Coral Hotel in Roda and had the most fantastic time - mainly
due to the wonderful staff there. Yamas! to you all - but especially
to Nikos and Demetri... you were fantastic! Had no preconceptions
before going there, but usually keep ourselves to ourselves pretty
much with some sociable stuff thrown in if it happens. This holiday
was completely different - we met some really great people and partied
from day one! Hired a car and visited Kassiopi (lovely), Sidari (great
beach, but not our scene) and Paleokastritsa (beautiful but secluded)
too - but both agreed that Roda was a great base. The hotel was only a
couple of minutes walk from a sandy beach and small town centre, where
there were loads of restaurants and bars for all tastes. Best places
to eat that we found were Filoxenia (great view, good food and best
value breakfast), New Port (next door - aka Captain's because of the
guy who wears a Captain's hat) and Roda Park (pricier, but great for a
special meal). We also heard that Maggie's was worth a visit, but
didn't make it there. The Coral is a family-run hotel with a great
atmosphere - basic accommodation with good views from your balcony.
They run Greek and barbecue nights weekly, with karaoke in the bar on
other evenings. It's a lively place, but you can always escape. The
pool area has a bar and is a fun place to sunbathe and chat to new
friends. The great thing about Roda is that, if you don't like where
you are staying, you are not stuck because there are lots of pools
offering free access and you can eat/drink/walk anywhere. Sorry this
is a bit long, but we've only just got back and are still enjoying our
post-holiday buzz! Hop
We have been to the Coral Hotel in Roda for two years in a row and I have to say it is an excellent hotel. Our room although basic was very clean and comfortable. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and kind. I loved this Hotel and the surrounding area. I would recommend this Hotel and this Island to anyone.
This hotel is a good place if you want a relaxing holiday. It was basic and typically greek but spotless. I would definately go here again but might try something abit more comfortable. It was a great holiday though and the room was nice but not luxurious. They provided towels for the bathroom. If you do not want typical greek and want luxury greek then do not come here. There are more luxurious hotel in Corfu though. The restaurant was absoultely great and the staff served it up with a down to earth smile. The swimming pool was small but relaxing and fun.
The location was quite alright but the beach it is on is not really a beach, it is pebbles with water. Go abit nearer into the centre of Roda, the beach is sandy there.
This was a great holiday, everything you needed but unfortuanately it is basic.
