hi im going to kavos on october 7th with my boyfriend. we to got that great deal with thomsons freestyle in more magazine! is it gonna be hot and will the bars be open???? we just wanna have a real good time and i wnna have a wikid birthday as i turn 19 while im there!! any advice???? xxxx

Have been before back in may 03, finally went back in june 05 and had a great time, beer was cold, the weather was hot, also finally caught up with a few friends on the resort (Karen & Billy), we are going back june - july 06 if anyone is planning a trip to kavos def stay at the seaside

me and my best friend went to kavos n stayed at seaside for supposed to be two weeks but she went home and left me after a week n that left me on tod but i was never alone i found new guys to chat to and i had the time of my life the drinkin never stopped the noise was unbeliveably wicked the reps and the bar staff were great heres a big shout out to pops n zoe the no 1 reps and mick n michael the no 1 bar staff oh yeah n we cant forget chris the location was just rght the rooms were ok and the pools n bar were lovely especially chris's bar were the bar closed when the last man standing was on the floor i had many fun nights n not once regretted it i just cant wait to return next year n i hope its as good a year as ive just had if any 1 reading this was there the 28 th of june its the crazy sheffield girl and shes going back all i can say is yamos for everything and just go f**king mental xx crazy sheffield girl xx 

Just got back from seaside on sat morning (16th july) and missing it already,

Seaside is the best apartments in Kavos by far, they have the best pools, bars, shop, beach and the very best reps ZOE and POPS they are fantastic.

Me and my best mate are off  to Kavos on 9th September 2005.....anyone going to be there around that time?  I've heard it's really good there. Not feeling the lack of beach that I just read on someones comment    Any other good beaches around the area???

Well got back Saturday even tough i didn't want to come home. Had an amazing week it went too fast. Must have been all the FUN i was having.

Big thanks to Pops, Zoe and Kevin them Freestyle Reps made my holiday for me and i hope to see them next summer!!!!!

Also a big thanks to Billy and Karen who worked at the Seaside bar they were amazing staff. So friendly and them cocktails were very nice to sip on after we got in from the clubs! Not to mention them toasties oh my god Karen very nice!

The trips are great fun. Theos boat cruise on the thursday great trip, what a crazy guy just have a strong tummy after going on the jailbreak and foam party the night before!  

The Seaside is only 5-10min walk to the town depends on the heels for the girls! If you want a taxi home it will set you back about 6 euros no more. The apartments are basic but who cares they are there for sleeping in and getting changed in. Or for those guys in the apartment above mine a lot more than sleeping! The 2 pools are great to be in or laze by and catch a tan!

Working for Thomson holidays i will be going back next summer. Mind you found a great deal for august/september so who knows might go again very soon. Even if all the action is June and July.

Jus got back and I had a wicked time. The rooms were very basic and couldn't really use any of the plates and cups but didn't matter as we ate out all the time. The cleaners are very nice but they dont change the bed covers (they jus make the bed) and you dont get new clean towels every day. The food and drink at the hotel is brill and the pools are lovely on a hot day. Seaside isn't far from the town where you can enjoy the lively nights of Kavos. I would really recommend Theo's boat trip, its really good fun and worth every penny. Also the Greek Night at Seaside, very entertaining loved the greek dancing and the food was fab-thanks Karen!

Hey Everyone! Stayed to Seaside Taverna  last year in september! Going again on the 24th June because Kavos is SO FANTASTIC!!! The accomodation was cool and the pools and bars are brilliant!Can't wait to go again! Only 1 day to go! Look out for me if your there between the 24th and 1st!

Have been before a great place for a holiday, billy and karen at the bar are really down to earth and nice, will def be back next year.

just got back an hour ago and this was the maddest week of my life. saw lisa lashes playin at limelight and loads of other things i cant remember. the reps r quality. if ya r goin wit freestyle go on the jailbreak. we ended up hidin from the reps on top of a buildin site roof and in a empty swimmin pool. try the head f**kers as well 9 spirits in a pint glass with a little bit of orange juice. 5 will probly get ya f**ked but we were havin 10 - 15. minted but dont take my word 4 it. go out there and try it yaself. big shout out ta mike who works behind the bar here. top lad

St Peters is the next village along and it is exactly the same beach.  If you want a good beach hire a car and go to santa barbara beach it is the best beach on the south of the island, i know this as i used to be a rep there and on our day off we would all go to this beach.  I would highly recommend that you get a car off your rep too and not off one of the little shops as they dont give you proper insurance for either cars or mopeds, and believe me people can not drive over there and if someone crashes into you your rep cant fight off the owner of the car co. and your holiday insurance doesnt cover it (ha ha sorry those of you from last year ha ha ha) GET A CAR AND GO TO SANTA BARBARA.

Also if you are going with Freestyle I highly recommend going to the Cabaret night it is fun and hilarious, Theos Boat BBQ is by far the best and Theo Alex and Theos son are all mad and up for a laugh.  Get to know the reps too Jon and Pops are great and there is a new girl there this year, and if you get to meet Sean then you will have a blast.  The apartments are basic but its just to put your head down for the night, but definitely go to the meeting and find out all there is to know about it.  The reps are there to give you a good time and The majority of the people will have one.  HAVE FUN!!!

I went to Kavos last year and ended up in Spini's apps, not a nice place to stay! This year im going back with my roomie Lisa and we are staying in the seaside. Not really bothereded about the beach there as last time we went up so st peters beach every day with is much nicer than kavos beach! Anyone who has stayed in seaside before is it on the road between kavos and st peters? Anyway we are going on the 17th july 2005 from sunny Cardiff so let us know if anyone else is staying there on that week!

i havent actually stayed in the seaside taverna yet,but i went to kavos twice last year and everytime i had such a laugh.ive just booked my hols again this year and im def goin back to kavos,im staying in the sea side taverna with 4 london boys!!!im going on 12th til the 20th of aug2005 so if your going at the same time email me.kavos is what you expect,nightlife is prob the best of any greek party island,and yea the apartments are s**te but who cares when the girls are such top class hotties! if you look after yourself you will have the time of your life and i recommend it to every1.james(19)

Hey hey, so good to read so much interesting feedback. I was a rep at the seaside last year in my first season and i loved it. Yes i agree the rooms are not up to standard and that is why it is being dealt with this year. I had a brilliant time there and i am not a person to putdown other people even thou i had seen your comments people!!!!
The end of the day you go to kavos for the bars and a good time, yes people book it and complain so wot! Then its my job to turn it around and make sure you enjoy urselves!!! Big shout of EZY DAYZ!!! 2 evry1 who stayed and made a quality summer for me, jon and popsy u guys n girls were brilliant and a big thanks to evry1 who attended hacienda an absolute sucees for 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what is it you freaks want, you are a bunch of total skinflints. if you want a luxury apartment with the works then go to a 5* hotel. the reason you go on a free style holiday is to get drunk and get a tan, and if your a sl*g then get s**gged too. i enjoyed it here, it has the essentials, bed, shower and sink. you dont go on holiday to stay in the room!!! get a life you sad people that have nothing better to do. oh and the reps were great, and i'm g*y so no i didn't s**g any of them, and those that complain that they got broke in to...well if you went to the meeting and listened - get a safety deposit box - you wouldn't lose everything, thick comes to mind.

The rooms weren't too bad, a bit on the small side though, and the kitchen appliances for the self catering apartments were pretty bad - the kettle and the cutlery were completley unusable.

It advertises the apartments as being on the beach front, which is technically true, although anybody whose been on there knows you can't call that a beach! It's a very thin strip with rocks on it, and barely any sand - it's impossible to lie on the beach itself, and they charge you for a sunlounger.

And the maids are awful - they don't knock at all, just let themselves straight in and clean while your still in bed!

It was only a 10 minute walk to kavos high st though, and there were some lovely restaurants there, all very reasonably priced - you were hard pushed to find some greek food though, it was all english!

Oh, and like someone else said, watch what trips you go on with the reps, they really overcharge on some of them! On the last night we paid maybe 40 euros to go on a bar crawl and a nightclub after - I don't know what we paid for though, there was no transport so we had to walk, and when we got there we were told the nightclub was closed down. We basically paid for a bar crawl, but we could of got in to the pubs for free anyway.

I'd recommend Theo's boat trip, and especially the aqualand day trip, aqualand was fantastic.

Just got back. Our room was small, damage, moldy and smelt. the beds gave my misses a real bad back (we were sleeping on springs!) the walls and small wardrobe were damp, there was a major ant infestation, NO hot water at all, bins were only emptied every 3 days and this was the only cleaning done! no fresh sheets or towels, one of which one was wripped! the patio glass door was cracked and dangerous and the fridge smelt! so it was excellent! when we complained the reps only appeared once and we were told to deal with the relevent owner (there were several) ours was living in New York and we had no number!

hi its becki wardington again. just got back yesterday. i had such a good time. the weather was boiling hot. the apartments could have been nicer but like sophie said it didnt really matter cos we werent in them much. all the food was so nice and so cheap!!! and we went on all the excursions. they were all so much fun except from aqualand. it was ok but not as much fun as the rest. theos boat trip and jailbreak are the best!!! if ur going have a great time!

We have just got back from a week at the seaside. the rooms were fine for us although they were very basic and if you havent been to greece before you may be shocked. however, the maid did come everyday to empty the bins and make the beds, she just never changed the bottom sheets or mopped the floors! but we didnt mind too much because you dont spend that much time in your room! the staff were friendly and helpful and the bar is decently priced. there are 2 blocks (1 for apartments 1 for hotel b&b) and the apartments seem to be newer and possibly nicer than our rooms as we stayed in the hotel section. breakfast was fine, you could choose what you liked off the menu as long as you where there for 11:30! just the right distance away from the strip, not too close not too far! i wouldnt call the beach a beach though!!!!

I stayed in kavos for a week the hotel was filthy there is no room to move. Food prices were reasonable but the noise was unbearable. The nightlife in kavos was good and you can get some really cheap drinks. Choose your trips with freestyle carefully cause they may end up costing you alot more than you realise. Theo's boat trip is a wicked day out!

It takes about 10 minutes walk to get to the start of the strip where all the pubs and clubs. But dont worry once your in the apartments you cant hear any noise - its just the right distance away.

We are 2 young couples who are up for a laugh coming to stay at the seaside taverna at the end of september. just wondering if anyone had any idea what the rooms are like? is it an expensive place? where are the best places to go? whats the weather like at that time of year? kavos is exactly the same as faliraki (dont know if you have ever been there?)

me and my boyfriend went to kavos early july. there is just one strip of mayhem. the place is full of immature 17,18 and 19 year olds that cannot handle their beer. its r n b music 24/7 - you cant seem to get away from the same old songs. to be honest we thought the nightlife was s**t.

seaside taverna itself is really nice. the pools are nice, and the rooms were basic but great for what we needed.

to be honest kavos was definately not our scene but it depends what your into?

weve booked to go ibiza next year to get a taste of a real clubbing holiday!

thinking of booking seaside Taverna 1st wk in Oct. Do you have to be young to enjoy trhis place or is ok for all ages. (we are not old, just not as young as we once were, but the mental age is 17) Anyone with any comments please?

The apartment was basic, but was fine for what what we wanted. We received maid service every week day we were there, just a little dissapointed that only the top sheets were changed but not the bottom.
Location was excellent, lives up to it's name i.e very close to beach. Was good distance to town ie. not too much of a trek but away from the noise if you really need to sleep.
The reps were fantastic, we found them well organised, funny & pretty fit!! So cheers Matt, Pops & Jon. The trips were amazing, Theo's boat trip & the Convict night is a must. We will definitely be coming back again.

What are you lot going on about??!! Our room was cleaned about 8 times in 2 weeks. The reps are legendary, some of the nicest people we have ever met. Pops - We love you. Take advantage of everything offered to you by Freestyle as it really made our holiday - all at a really resonable price. Theo's boat trip is a must!! Yeah, ok sometimes the town smells a bit - but its only occasionally and what do you expect when half of the UK decide to emigrate to the same 1 square mile!! The nightlife is wicked - mad bars, clubs and people. Sex Club Foam Party and Venue are good too!! One of our party was stuck in a wheelchair for the whole time we were there - and we all managed to have the best holiday of our lives - so it can't be that bad!!! If you like old skool garage go to snobs - we were there every night! Big hello to.... Team Boring, Team Swindon, Team Scotland and Team Wales and all the Freestyle Reps - Love the Hop Along Crew!!!!!

Got back from Kavos two days ago with my boyfriend. We stayed in the block D and the room was great - it was basic but clean and had everything we needed. The maid come every other day and we got clean sheets and towels once a week. The pool area is good they play music all day, there is Sky TV, table tannis and pool tables. There is also a resturant where the food is nice and at a resonable price. The beach is basically in the back garden but is only about 5 metres wide - still enough room to sunbath though and there are a lot of water sports a bit further down the beach. It took about 15 minutes to walk into town but we would advise a taxi home as the roads are very dangerous and it only costs 6 euros anyway. Theos boat trip was one of the best days - you have a BBQ on the beach and the food is excellent so dont miss out! There are some very nice restaraunts down town where you can have a good meal for a reasonable price. As for the night life, well, if you like R n B and hip hop and nothing else then this is the place to be. There is no music variation what so ever you just here the same old R n B tunes where ever you go, so whoever said Ibiza has nothing on Kavos seriously needs help - its not that good mate!!
In general we had a great time but we wouldnt go to kavos again - goin Ibiza next year!

fair play to the nottingham lads and luara/leicester girls they have summed the reps up perfectly. mich from behind the bar was top notch. dont agree with the comments about the rooms being, s**t, small and smelly. our group was split between b block and d block (4 different rooms) and all were clean on arrival and big enough for 2 in each. yeah it didnt get cleaned while we were there, but who actually spent more then a couple of hours in their room anyway??????
trust me i have been to a couple of other party destinations, ibiza, magaluf and some of the hotels, smell etc... have been much worst!!!!

I know, i could defo not be a PR!! Id just like to try bar work i think! Id miss every1 too, but it wud be such an experience! Dunno if i could handle that toilet paper in the bin thing for longer than a week or two though!...that was so grotty! I just really miss the Kavos atmosphere and even watchin films in bars!! hehe x

kavos is the works!!! ibiza etc... has nothing on it! working out there would be pretty mad!!!! couldnt do a pr's job though, knowing how much they p**s me off. thought about doing it as well, but i would miss my mates etc.... dont think i would have the stamina to keep it up either. i was like a zombie the week after i got back. i could certainly do with a headf*cker now thats for sure!!!!

Buzz Bar was just opposite snobs! We went to snobs coz the blonde gal dragged us in but had a nasty cocktail there and didnt really like it so didnt go back there (nightmare avoiding that girl though she was so persistant!) Kavos was such a wicked place, it was defo my best hol so far! Id love 2 work out there actually... that'd surely be an experience!!
