I was a rep in Sidari last season - not a money grabbing one either.  This hotel is probably one of the two nicest in Sidari - The other being the Alkion.  It is right in the middle of the main street yet there is no noise at bedtime.  The beach is at the back of the hotel and a hedge seperates it from the pool to give that bit of privacy to the guests. The owner Lacis is great and very friendly and makes his presence known as he is always helping his staff out.  The receptionist Melanie is English from Darlington and is a very helpful lady as is Rosie(if she is still there.  The rooms are very nice and maid service is very often.  I would highly recommend going to the karaoke night as the waiters George and Nikos and the barmen Spiros and Spiros all join in with the greek dancing and are very good at it.  This hotel comes highly recommended from me.  If you were to go with Apartments Id go with the Stema or the Louisa, Olga is quite nice too, but the Akis, Lidia and Vasso are a bit dodgy.

This place is by far the best apartments in Sidari.  The whole lot of the staff are brilliant and will do anything to help any of their guests.  I know this because I was the rep there last year.  Nikki and Nickos are fab as are the two Kostas, if Ginger Kostas is playing too much Brian Adams tell him to change it.  There was a little problem with the hot water, however, in Greece you will never get the water as hot as England.  As for the path that is dusty and dark and everything else, I used to walk up that path every night after work in the dark for six months and it really is not an issue!!!  However if you do find it a problem walk along the path on the opposite side of the apartments as it was tarmaced last year and oh...it has lights - if people asked and brought things to the attention of their rep (namely me)  I would of pointed this out.  For the quality of the rooms I wouldnt complain about a tiny dusty path of the length of about two hundred metres - Im sure people just go on holiday to find things to complain about and then go home and make crap up.  If anyone does want any help or advice as to where to go and what to see in Corfu or where the best places to stay are just leave a message on here and Im leave a reply.  If anyone is going to the Stema this year please say hello to the gang and tell them Ill see them in September

I get married in February and this is the reason I am not going back - how can I forget you four you got two of my guests absolutely S>_t faced and made them stay out until about five in the morning.  You are the four girls that came back in the Sept or Oct, am I right?  Its hard enough when you are a rep to remember all guests that you get,  but you do remember the really nice ones - Rachel and Chris from Wales, Lorraine and Charlie from Scotland and loads more,  then there are the party ones namely you four and then there are the nasty complainers who seem to think they are the only family there and the world revolves around them, and I had quite a few of them.  Are you going back this?

St Peters is the next village along and it is exactly the same beach.  If you want a good beach hire a car and go to santa barbara beach it is the best beach on the south of the island, i know this as i used to be a rep there and on our day off we would all go to this beach.  I would highly recommend that you get a car off your rep too and not off one of the little shops as they dont give you proper insurance for either cars or mopeds, and believe me people can not drive over there and if someone crashes into you your rep cant fight off the owner of the car co. and your holiday insurance doesnt cover it (ha ha sorry those of you from last year ha ha ha) GET A CAR AND GO TO SANTA BARBARA.

Also if you are going with Freestyle I highly recommend going to the Cabaret night it is fun and hilarious, Theos Boat BBQ is by far the best and Theo Alex and Theos son are all mad and up for a laugh.  Get to know the reps too Jon and Pops are great and there is a new girl there this year, and if you get to meet Sean then you will have a blast.  The apartments are basic but its just to put your head down for the night, but definitely go to the meeting and find out all there is to know about it.  The reps are there to give you a good time and The majority of the people will have one.  HAVE FUN!!!

Ha, I dont know about that, anyone that has them apartments have a pretty easy job as you said they do generate no problems.  Hope all is ok with you and life in Corfu.  I'll e-mail you and ask you all the gossip from the island as Matt and me miss it loads , but now I'm working as cabin crew it isn't that bad.
