hi, ive just read all the comments on katerina studios and i just booked to go there yesterday wiv my cousin.  i was wondering if anybody could help us out and tel us were to go for the good nitelife. email me plz on xxleyleybabeyxx1989xx@hotmail.com

MY BOYFRIEND AND HIS MATES WENT TO THESE APARTMENTS AT THE END OF JUNE AND ALL THEIR MONEY WAS STOLEN OUT OF THEIR ROOM ON THE SECOND NIGHT. EVERYTHING WAS LOCKED STILL WHEN THEY CAME BACK TO THE ROOM, SO ALL IM SAYING IS I WOULDNT TRUST THE PPL THAT WORK HERE... THE MANAGER WASNT INTERESTED AND ADVISED THEM NOT TO TELL THE POLICE AS THEY WOULD DO THEM FOR WASTING POLICE TIME!!!!!!

I spent 2 weeks at the Katerina Studios with 5 mates and the owner, Nick, tried his best to ruin our holiday. He tried to charge us 50 euros for 'broken glasses' when we hadn't even used them, never mind broken them.  If you are going to this hotel I would strongly advise you to avoid Nick and his father at all costs.  He tried on several occasions to come up with charges like this one, and tried to turn the other guests against us. According to our rep he just doesn't like groups of lads on holiday.
Apart from the staff, the hotel is okay, but still a good 20 minute walk from Kavos. For a couple or a family looking for a relaxing holiday this holiday would be suitable, but for anyone else I would suggest looking elsewhere.

We are just back from Kavos and it was the worst holiday either of us have ever been on. Our room in the Katerina apartments was broken into on our first night there!! Whoever broke in, managed to break in through the front window, our room was on the second floor so whoever it was managed to jump out the back window onto the porch below. everything was stolen, cash, passporsts, mobile phones, even some clothes. The rep was useless as were the owners of the place and the police. The Katerina does not offer safety deposit boxes so if you are planning on going there i would seriously advise you not too.We just arrived home on the 31st July after having to sort out an  emergency passport which costs 80 euros each.We are still waiting to hear back from our insurance company and im in the middle of writing a strongly worded letter of complaint to our tour operators, Libra Holidays. 10/6/06  To keep it as brief as pos, Katerina, st peters, Kavos, Libra holidays, 15mins walk to town. The reps are useless and the apartments are very dirty, they will only change the towels and beding once unless you 'tip' the owner. 1 loo roll, to many incects (really bad), the bedding wasnt even fresh for us (some realy bad stains) the pool is ok but not much sunbathing area. Try the Captains apartments instead, its 50m closer to the center same price, bigger pool very clean and no bugs!!!. We flew in the early hours of the morning and were made to leave at Katerina at 12 noon. you can stay for a extra 8 hours for 20 euro or (as we did) try the captains apartment for 20 euro all day and night.

I don't know what has happened here in previous years but I have not long been back from 2 weeks holiday staying at Katerina and it could not have been any nicer!

About a year ago me and two of my friends went to stop at the KATERINA STUDIOS in the centre of kavos. The apartment was not up too a great deal very basic.On the last night of our holiday we went out for a few drinks, upon arival back to the apartment we found the door was open and all our suitcases and everything else had been STOLEN. Our tour operator was GOLDEN SUN and we found them very unhelpful, they did not do anything towards helping us after our belongings had gone missing. Also be warned about the school next door the kids are quite noisy in the morning. 

well me and my mate are going to this hotel in july and im afraid incase the hotel is filthy. I dont really want to be walking to far to the nightlife either but when ive looked at the comments some say its close and some say its far away... can someone tell me if this hotel is filthy or not?

ive booked the katerina studios in kavos nr the lefkimi hotel (tour op goldensun) ive noticed lots
of people getting the katerina in st peters (tour op libra) mixed up with my one ive booked so i cant seem to get any proper info on the one in kavos. can u help?

BOOKED TO GO TO KATERINA STUDIOS IN SEPTEMBER WITH 3 FRIENDS (BOOKED THROUGH LIBRA),
CAN SOMEONE CONFIRM HOW FAR THE STUDIOS ARE OUT OF KAVOS, THE BROCHURE STATES IT IS 1KM AWAY.
ARE THERE ANY SHOPS, PUBS OR RESTAURANTS CLOSE TO THE STUDIOS? ANY INFORMATION GRATEFUL!!!!!

have you got any GOOD pictures of Katerina studios? there seems to be only one on the whole internet and its not too clear. can we contact any of the people who made comments about these apartments because they had such different views!!!? please reply asap because its gonna help us to decide whether to book or not! thanks xxx

i had already booked my holiday before i read the above comment and was really put off when i read it. they were either oldies or staying in a different hotel. you do not have to walk up a long unlit road or get a taxi back from the clubs. far from it, the apartments are bang in the middle of the strip set back about 15 metres. any one who goes to kavos is there for the clubs so when i say quietness is below par, that's a good thing!!! these apartments have easy access to all the main clubs, shops, bars, rstaurants and beach. The apartments themselves are basic but who cares all u need is a bed and a bathroom. the kitchen is overly simple but if u are eating out every night like us then that really doesn't matter. do expect to pay a charge for the fans of ten euros each, but do pay it or u will never get to sleep!!!

As the above comment says, do watch out for nikos - idiot - we didnt have the same problem with him but he did try and charge us 80 euros for a new matress as one had got wet. he demanded the money up front but u must wait until the res come and check out the damage. as it happened we didnt have to pay cos as we told him all along there was ntohing wrong with the god damn matress. this just added comedy value to the holiday!!! along with the butch cleaner!!!

we have just got back a few days ago and miss the place like mad, make sure you visit buzz bar and future and have a great time as we did. final shout to the devon gals espesh meesh who is one beautiful lady. oh and ants? this is greece, stay at home or dont leave food lying around - simple.

Went to this place in Sep 2002 and My god if you wanna be in a very quiet area then go to this appartment!! We were conned totally we were told that this appartment was near Kavos town, mmmmm yeah right, it was at least 10mins taxi drive down a LONG DARK SCAREY road, so if you blew ya money in the night us 2girlies had to walk on our own!!! The appartments well we had the bottom floor and it was so DAMP, the owner NICOS was horrible always moaning about something and when we asked for help he wasnt interested the rooms up above us were leaking into our rooms, we had red ants everywhere! The pool was nice but Nicos in his bar would always stare at us, I recommend the boattrip to the BLUE LAGOON, saw dolphins and gotta gr8 tan that was the best bit of the hols, but hated going to our room!!! Our room didnt ONCE get cleaned!!
