Good luck and enjoy your stay, although I have heard that Kavos 2009 is very quiet. The poor £ to Euro exchange rate will probably hurt Kavos and many other resorts this year.

You have picked excellent accomodation in the Chandris. The rooms are fairly basic but serve their purpose. Try to avoid those facing the mini-strip. Whilst quieter than the main strip, you may get a rude awakening from the delivery vans, buses and the refuse collectors.  The Chandris has its own supermarket which makes buying your own food easy. However, even though you may have bought your food at the Chandris, you can only consume food or drink bought from the bar at poolside.

The beaches are reasonable, although certain sections get clogged up with washed up seaweed.

Just go and enjoy Kavos!

We went to the Chandris from 2-9th Sept 2008. The pool is always immaculately clean and tidy, the pool bar is great with decent food and a pool table. The rooms are very basic so I wouldn't go aiming to cook anything in the rooms, I think the limit would be a pasta in sauce!! Our room was incredibly small but we weren't bothered because we weren't in it much but it was a bit cheeky to try and charge us 45 euros for the air conditioning for the week - the same as they charged for a room double the size for three people (only 2 of us!). And you can't keep the air conditioning on while you aren't in the room as it is activated by your room key! The room was constantly boiling and we had the most pointless balcony ever (right next to the hallway with no view of anything!!) but at least it was away from the heat! Free safety deposit boxes a plus though.

Overall a great place to go!

Hey all we got bk from kavos 2 wks ago it was the best holiday ever! had hangovers most days but jst chilled by the pool at the chandris and sweat it out  .the  chandris was a gd place 2 stay and every1 tht stayed there were friendly and a laugh, the reps made it a great 2 wks for us specially leggie!  my fave bar was defo buzz, all the others were gd 2 but tht was the best! kavos is defo the place 2 be and i will be booking for july/august 2008 at end of the month. noticed a few fimiliar faces here on this so if any1 wants 2 get in touch my msn is Reidie16@hotmail.com see u next year hopfully!

hiya me again, just thought i would let you know kavos was great and havent even been back a week yet and we are already booking up for next year at the end of the month. we met loads of great people and the hotel was great. watch out kavos 2008

Hey! Me and my best friend got back from Kavos yesterday,we stayed at Chandris apartments! Weve had the best time of our lives,the P.R from 42nd st is soooo Hot, girls,get dwn there he's amazing! Snobs,Buzz and Rocky's are the place to be! Go out at about 11.30,den come back at 5.30 dat way you would of had a great night,but not be too tired that you waste the day! But most importantly use my motto,your out there for a good time, not a long time!! Oohh I miss it! See you next year Chandris!! xxx 

hiya got back from kavos this morning! stayed at the chandris apartments n i had the best holiday of my life! 5 of us went for a week and it woz mental!! the apartments were better than we thought they woz gonna be n the staff were really friendly n nice. stayed round the pool most days coz half of the time we cudnt move any further!!

Hey got back from Kavos a couple of days ago! Was a really good laugh and the apartments were pretty good with a nice pool! It seemed to us that Kavos was only half busy during the night and if you stayed out til the early hours of the mornin the strip and bars were bare!! Where as other destinations it was buzzing all night long!!

Alrite. Just got back from Kavos. Went with ten friends and stayed at the Chandris. The Chandris is ok. Nothing special but its clean and the barmen Graham is brilliant. Ask for the Chandris special and keep off the local beer. You'll understand what I mean if you drink it all day. Don't expect to get up the next.

Looks like there will be a lot of girls at Chandris this summer, there is ten of us going on the 2nd July too! I've heard lots of things about Kavos, good and bad, but it's booked now so hopefully we will just make the most of it and party. See you all there!
