we didn't actually stay at the calypso apartments but we met up with some girls who were staying there and so were up there nearly every day. the apartments we saw were really clean and nicely looked after. the toilets especially were very nice and had good showers. the pool was also spot on and has a bar right next to it with a nice lady working behind it. one thing that was not even bad but funny really was that the owner lived right opposite these girl's apartments. whenever they played music he would always start shouting greek babble which was dead funny to watch. so just call him grandpap's (we named him that) and tell him to naff off.

i had already booked my holiday before i read the above comment and was really put off when i read it. they were either oldies or staying in a different hotel. you do not have to walk up a long unlit road or get a taxi back from the clubs. far from it, the apartments are bang in the middle of the strip set back about 15 metres. any one who goes to kavos is there for the clubs so when i say quietness is below par, that's a good thing!!! these apartments have easy access to all the main clubs, shops, bars, rstaurants and beach. The apartments themselves are basic but who cares all u need is a bed and a bathroom. the kitchen is overly simple but if u are eating out every night like us then that really doesn't matter. do expect to pay a charge for the fans of ten euros each, but do pay it or u will never get to sleep!!!

As the above comment says, do watch out for nikos - idiot - we didnt have the same problem with him but he did try and charge us 80 euros for a new matress as one had got wet. he demanded the money up front but u must wait until the res come and check out the damage. as it happened we didnt have to pay cos as we told him all along there was ntohing wrong with the god damn matress. this just added comedy value to the holiday!!! along with the butch cleaner!!!

we have just got back a few days ago and miss the place like mad, make sure you visit buzz bar and future and have a great time as we did. final shout to the devon gals espesh meesh who is one beautiful lady. oh and ants? this is greece, stay at home or dont leave food lying around - simple.

yeah come on stacy, me n u girl!!! this place was mint, the music rocked and the people flood out onto the streets to party. u can make the tables yours like me n youg danny boy did. just jump up on em n dance ur heart out to some wicked tunes and mixes. look aout for a jump around (house of pain) remix with some busta rhymes thing thrown in there - wicked!!!
