Very small but clean, 24 hour open air bar (Hence:forget sleeping before 7.00am)
the hotel looked nice from the outside, but when we opened the appartment doors we had a shock, the room was a s**t hole, nearly everything in the room was damaged or broken in some way. the hotel attempt to charge people for damages and keep the money instead of fixing the problem. the staff appear friendly and helpful till a problem occurs, one member of our party came back to the room one afternoon to discover the cleaners had spilt bleech all over an expensive t-shirt, when approached the receptionist told us to return in one hour to speak to the manager, when we returned he spoke to us in english, once we started discussing the problem he suddenly could not speak english (convient)w**ker....... although we saw other groups being charged for damages we managed avoid charges
accomodation was really nice we managed to get a studio apartment for me and my 5 friends the location was a bit far out from the centre of town but the walks into town were surely memorable. We also found that the owner tried to charge us for damages to the room which we hadn't done, but when i spoke to him in greek he seemed to change his tune about the 500 euros he was trying to charge us for a ripped mattress.
very good, I recomend!
Me and my friend stayed at Oula, and i must say i was impressed. Had heard stories of staff trying to make money out of people - but none of them tried anything at all.
The two main reps Dan and Cheryl are fantastic (cheryl, you are a sex goddess)
If i hadn't have gone i wouldn't have met the girl of my dreams - Patricia.
I have stayed in Oula Maisonnettes before and would like any details about the possibility of booking direct with the accommodation, or any way to contact them. Please help if you can. Thanks.
On arrival myself and my party were very pleased with the accomodation it seemed very clean, peaceful etc. However the owner of this place is making a nice little earner out of charging people for damages that are nothing to do with you. On arrival i heard stories from other people staying here of how they had to pay as much as £300 for damages which they had not done. The manager tried this with us and when we challenged him threw us out of the accomodation- whilst packing our bags we the cleaners arrived to inspect our rooms where no damages could be found. One member of our party caught one of the cleaners trying to pull off the wardrobe door and consequently charge us for the damage!!! The Olympic Reps were also a waste of time and did not help us in any way! We stayed in corfu a total of 2 days which was plenty long enough in such surroundings, we were all very glad to get home- i will never go to greece again!!!
i stayed here from june 7th with my boyfriend it wasnt to close to the nightlife aprox ten min walk to the centre it was a friendly run place i might even be going back next year great holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
