Koulouris Beach Aparthotel

 only 2 days to go and were on away to sunny kavos and can,t wait and looking 4 ward to seein mary and co  see any1 who will be there from 1st to 9th safe flight

I cannot get over some of the comments that have been posted  as I have stayed in this hotel many times and are going back at the beginning of next month to see the staff and enjoy a relaxing atmosphere round the pool. It will be the third time in as many years that I have been to this hotel and when my partner saw the hotel when we were last in Kavos he said it would be the ideal place to base our holiday from and to enjoy a quiet night if we fancied. Not only that I found Mary and her staff polite and did there best to help you if you had a problem. I hope people who are thinking of staying in this apartment whilst in Kavos look at all the good comments this hotel has and not just the bad ones.

hi there were 10 of us irish girls who stayed with mary,tom and the very special andreas (mario ooh ooh) we had an absolute ball in corfu. even though we had a group of about 6 arrogant p***ks staying in the apartments the same time as us who thought they really were something special they were absolute dummies!! we erected a tricolour and hope it's still there as we were the only ones who were not represented by a flag for our country.  if your irish and over in theses apartments please feel free to take the flag down to sign it but make sure it goes back up!!  we hope when you go u have as gd a time we did enjoy tahnk you anreas for really looking after us your a real star ooh ooh!!

just to say been reading all the comments and i have to say that we had a gr8 time in kavos and this hotel was fanbloodytastic so those who s**g it off well you just really don,t no a gd thing mary and team make you feel at home at all times .going bk 4th sept can,t wait not sure wot the weather will be like also anybody going between now and then try the crazy speed boat it was brill bit of advice dont take to much cause drowned rat well it says it all book up with ozzy john on the beach and for the sexy dognuts christos is funny man and has the time of day for all us brits so return the niceness he has 1 last thing try plesures bar (just b4 the barn ) the owners are cool and the bar staff well go and see you will always remember them overall hotel, kavos EXCELLENT .

we loved kavos!!  koulouris beach was the best location and full of young, hot, ginger people!  were def coming back next year, big up the club sandwhich!!

eidelweiss and rolling stones were the best places to be!!

pleeeeeeeease let us back for free next week!!

just found this web site and its wot iv been looking for me & my partner went to this hotel in may 06 stayed 2 wks and had a great time 1st off all mary made our holiday the best and off course tom and the rest of the staff  there could not be 1 thing bad to say about it .tom if you read this can u tell ur mum we,v been trying to contact her since we left june 5th on the hotel web site and not had any luck .could you tell her we are coming back sept and am looking 4ward to seeing her big hugs ..sam & rob ( pete,s son )

well looks like you may have had a re vamp over the end of season. My RING WORM marks are all gone now and can hardly see them, no thanks to you dirty people. i still stand by my comments you hotel should be wripped down and start a new with new managers etc. this is the worst hotel you can stay in during september n october DONT BOOK AFTER SEPTEMBER the hotel shoulsd only be opened for the main seasons. Best holiday ever! 6 of us scottish girl went to kavos and stayed in Koulouris beach and we had such an amzing time The staff are great and let u do whatever you want....thanx Mary and Tom! Its not that far from the strip and the 24 hour bar is great we met loadz of amazing people! How u doing Birmingham Boys?! And the 16 Manchester lads..... And Tom and Chris! Not forgetting Prit Aart and Wally hehe! Nothing bad to say about this place. Definately go back soon  love from the Edinburgh girls x

Fear not people this place is spot on 
At first we were put off as our rooms were quite basic (although alot are like penthouses)
The staff are great, thanks Mary, TomKoul and Luigi if thats your name ?? although Tom got me twice with an electric shock pen

16 of us stayed for a week and caused absolute havok. the staff were fine though and just let us get on with it.

The pool area and bar are good during the day and has tunes blastin, right on the beach aswell so its cool.
The walk to the strip is only 5-10 mins so its not too bad. once your there its pumpin

overall a good place to stay, would defo go back again

I would like to start by thanking Mr Cheesestring for his comments. They are much appreciated. Now if I may I would like to express my sincere thanks to Tom and his hot mum Mary who did everything in their capability for us. They are truly Kings among men.

Many bridges have been built between friends at the Koulouris Beach Apartments and I for one am delighted to have participated in such extreme friendship building on the journey we call 'life'. I would like to say a special hello to the Newport girls from Newport as they were quite hot. Especially the hanging one. She was stunning and smeeled really good.

Just remember, believe in yourself, say your prayers and wonderful things can happen.

Osum pool, jucuzzi, bar - think the prices on lettuces cld come down a bit by my next arrrival time but apart from that what a feelin when your teeth are on the ceiling. Id recomend the tom special drink after about 10 of em u find u cnt even feel your own face (Heaven). Not got 1 bad thing 2 say bout the place, best holiday ev@!! Take me back

Hey all, 12 rugby lads coming to kavos on the 30th of june for a week! Second time we have been to kavos and it is quality, any ladies want to meet up for a few drinks??

Hi people no photos yet im afraid.  As for clubs i think most were open and a handful were still adding a last lick of paint.  Oh and its of any interest to anyone we reckoned the number of girls quite easily outweighed the number of guys on holiday but that of course was only our week!

PS weather was hot hot hot.....till the last day...we got to the airport and it rained!!

Dont worry people, we just got back and the place was fine.  Just dont go expecting it to be like our UK hotels.  They are very basic but they are clean and the location is excellent.  It really is right on the beach.  You can pick up your pool sun lounger and walk ooohh about 10 seconds and  your feet are on the sand!  the sea is of course tons better than your weston super mare.  the beach is not the best on the island as there are apparantly some superb ones elsewhere but these are fine for playin around or sunbathing on still.  DEFINATELY take or buy a torch for walking back at night on the beach.  we just got one out there for 3 euros, job done.

Just like to say that i visited this hotel whilst staying in Kavos in July 03. The reason u had such a s**t time is cos u went in the low season where the  number of holiday makers coming to Kavos is slowing up and the staff can obviously not be bothered to to clean up because they no hardly ne1 will be coming. The night I visited this hotel we had to walk along the beach. It wasnt that bad, yes we had one plank to walk across but if u say that u cant see the TINY streams and sunbeds u must be freakin blind!!! When i reached the hotel, everything seemed clean, the bar was still open and at least 20 ppl were sitting round getting the craic and enjoying a drink. The room was basic, which is expected of Greek hotels, the beds were low to the ground, nut does that really matter unless u have back problems. The bathroom was small but efficient and the kitchenette was the same. As for the ringworm, u can catch that off someone else by touching them, a cat, or not drying properly. So did u ever think that one of the couple that u were friendly with gave it to you and not the hotel? Yes ur beds were damp but that was probably cos ur boyfriend swetted too much wen he slept or u didnt bother drying after pool/shower. Why dont u think about all the other contributing factors  to ur so called s**t time, before u go and ruin the reputation of this hotel!!!! Oh yeah and ur a holiday rep i read on one of the other reviews for restaurants, so are u just trying to sabotage this hotel's reputation??????????????????????????????????????????????????????

OMG!!!!! where did u hear bad reviews about this place. me and 5 of my mates were there in july 2004 and let me tell you the place was awesome!! its a family run hotel so u get a better service from the people who work their and look out for thomas. hes some laugh!! just a short walk down the beach to the strip. and is pretty quiet at night. food served all day and night and also the bar is open 24hrs also. great food btw and they do a crackin full english. would definately go back!! anyways guys just thought i would post a wee message for yeez and let yous know ur in for a good holiday at a great hotel!!!!!

O S**T!! After reading these I am cacking my pants!! I'm going away in August here for 2 whooooole weeks and i swear to God i beta not get that rashy ringworm crap! I am guna take my own bed linen thas for sure!! And whas with walking along th bloody beach! Do u rekon we're guna pul with sand aaaaaaaall up r legs .. YEA OK!

I no i have put a few comments on this  page but since i have bein home i have come out in a nasty rash, which i thought i had eaten somethin i was allergic to but after a doctors appointment the doctor told me i had caught RING WORM????. This can be caught due to DIRTY BED SHEETS, DAMP BED'S DIRTY TOWELS. It takes 14 days for this to come out so from the date i went away it would be from this hotel i cought it. We have stayed intouch with a couple we meet at the hotel and one of them have got the same as i have come out in.  I never normally moan about hotels specially when it was a cheap get away but no matter what u pay u expect some standards. As i said before in my early comments the hotel isnt up to scratch and this is proven with what two guests have come down with. My suggestion to mary is, it doesnt cost alot to make things clean a bit of powder n hot water would keep comments like this away and ur hotel would have a few good comments. im horrified with what i have come donw with and by the looks of it my arm and chest will be scared so no matter what, i will still have Koulouris Beach  on me.  THANK YOU MARY AND YOUR TEAM FOR THE SCARES YOU HAVE LEFT ME YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ME AND MY BOYFRIEND ARE GOING TO THIS HOTEL IN TWO WEEKS BUT LOOKING AT THE COMMENTS O IT I'M A BIT WORRIED CAN ANYONE TELL ME A LITTLE BIT MORE?

10 of us stayed at these apartments on 8th augst for two weeks this year thot kavos was really good but walkin along that beach every nyte is a nightmare !!!! we had sand everywere quite far from the strip which is really annoyin but at least it was quiet at night.  The apartment we had was very basic but we did have a shower hook at least but we did only get one toilet roll and are sheets an towels werent changed till day 9 ! all the boys lived in the 3 bed studios they are rather cramped to say the least esp the bathroom but didnt think it mattered much to them.  overall aparments arent to bad had a few bad experiences on arrival but were sorted out quickly

11 Geordies were there from 25th july til 8th August! this place was mint, would recommend it to anyone. fair enough the rooms weren't the best; 5 boys in a room the size of an average lounge with ladders for stairs, but what do you expect when you come on holiday to a place like kavos. it's all good fun!! Tomas is a legend, Puste malaka, however he is the slowest barman in the world. bit of advice, don't go on the boats in the middle of the night, some of the boys got a shotgun pulled on them. Also don't argue with the greeks on the penalty shoot-out things, 2 of the boys got battered and needed stitches. but what more do you expect from geordies on holiday! overall the hotel is good for what it is, a place to chill by the pool, sleep and have breakfast. if you want to ask out email jonny.rees4@btinternet.com

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Koulouris sept 2004, we had a brilliant time. The apartments are basic and clean, standard for Kavos, we had towels which in some apartments you do not get.

Mary the owner, is a bit mad but the place, in general is spot on.

how can u lot on ere say this hotel was whack me n two of my mate stayed ther from 27th june till the 4th july  we had an upstairs and everting we then went on to sum next apartements on the strip mary and tom bless him wer gr8 hosts and the pool was nice as any other unfortunalty on the 2end nite we got late night swimming barred due to too much noise!! ha ha c*m we were in kavos!! out to eric tom pete tucker ed(hope ya legs fully healed!) kev amy and last but not least the crazy as f**k northerner malc would love to c ya all again o and how can i forget kieron!! u prob still out there bruv i wish id stayed with ya but would defo go back to this hotel again and for all the extra people in this world it took bout 7 minutes tops to get to the strip walking along the beach n if ya walked about another ten then ud end up at altlantis dam sum people r sooo laxy it wernt no 15-20 minute walk please !! just watch out for the sewer in the dark ha ha (tucker)!!!!!

in relation to the comment below...if you feel that koulouris beach is a nice hotel..get checked out because if you class it as nice i dread to think of your p**vious holidays!!!

me and my boyfriend 22 and 25 went to kavos last year on a last minute deal. all we had seen was pictures of the pool so we literally just had to wait until we got there to see what it was like. we arrived about 5 in the morning and were dropped off from our coach and left by the side of a road with another 3 couples. the rep told us to wait and someone would be there to pick us up soon. sure enough someone came to pick us up in a minibus and we were driven along a dirttrack for about 5 minutes till we got to the apartments. as it was dark it was hard to see the surrounding place and we were shown straight to our rooms which in the still of the night looked very basic and drab. HOWEVER when we woke up the sun was shining and we began to see koulouris beach for what it was. the rooms were clean and tidy and had everything you need two beds a wardrobe, sink, fridge two small electric cooking rings and a separate en suite bathroom. (there is no shower hook to hang the shower on so you have to have a shower whilst holding it!)
when we left the rooms to take a look round the resort we found that we were right on the beach and if you took a left and walked straight across the beach for 5 minutes that took you straight into the resort so there wasnt any need to go out the front along the dirttrack. only thing with walking along the beach was if you got dressed up in the night you had to take your shoes off and de-sand yourself before you hit the resort centre! you can get a full english for 3 euros in nearly every bar and restaurant. the place on the corner opposite the barn was our favourite. desperados tex mex on the main strip is a fantastic place to eat it specialises in grills, ribs and chicken with a mexican feel if you fancy something different to the usual!
Koulouris beach turned out to be in a really good location and the people who owned it were lovely. as it is slightly setback from the centre it is also quiet so you can get some peace if the hustle and bustle of kavos gets too much!

  My boyfriend and i stayed at koulouris beach from the 4th july - 18th july.  We were both very disgusted with the accommodation, for many reasons.

1) the hotel is a 20 minute walk from the resort, ALONG DARK LANES OR A DARK BEACH!!!!

2) thier idea of "BED AND BREAKFAST" is cold stale toast.

3) hot water is only avalible from 9:30-12:30 and 6:00 - 9:00pm

4) room was of poor standard patio doors did not lock, glass was missing from the bathroom window, kettle was melted and unfit to use. Complaints were maid to staff but nothing seemed to be done regarding the situation.

 

SO ANYBODY WHO LIKES TO SHOWER THRU OUT THE DAY , WELL THIS IS NOT FOR YOU, HAVING COLD SHOWERS ALSO CAUSED ME TO DEVELOPE A THROAT INFECTION , AND MY PARTNER DEVELOPED HEAT RASH.

 

 GIRLS...DONT BOTHER DRESSING UP OR TAKING HIGH HEELS AS YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WALK 20 MINUTES ON THE BEACH OR DIRTY STONY DARK LANES INORDER TO GET IN TO KAVOS.

 

BOOKING BED AND BREAKFAST IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!

 

UR TRAVEL AGENT WILL TELL YOU THAT THE HOTEL IS A 5 MINUTE WALK IN TO TOWN ..... THATS A LOAD OF CRAP IGNORE THEM ITS A 20 MINUTE WALK!!!!

 

I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.. WE WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT OR STAY THERE EVER AGAIN .

Apartments are class- wud well recomend them. staff also brill esp Nikos who has the lovly job of mindin the 24hr bar- saviour!!! Mary the owner is class 2. friendliest appartments ive ever stayed in and ive been on girlie hols for the last 5 years. already pricing next year.
