Dont worry people, we just got back and the place was fine. Just dont go expecting it to be like our UK hotels. They are very basic but they are clean and the location is excellent. It really is right on the beach. You can pick up your pool sun lounger and walk ooohh about 10 seconds and your feet are on the sand! the sea is of course tons better than your weston super mare. the beach is not the best on the island as there are apparantly some superb ones elsewhere but these are fine for playin around or sunbathing on still. DEFINATELY take or buy a torch for walking back at night on the beach. we just got one out there for 3 euros, job done.

It was pretty quiet last week to be honest. Still plenty of pubs and clubs opening up for the season but not overly busy with people. Loadsa nice places to eat. We recommend the Blue Dolphin (9 euro 3 course meal, lovely steak) but tons else to choose from. DONT book the boat trips with the reps if you want to save money book one in one of the shops. About 15 euro cheaper! Average pint about 3 euros. Various 2 for 1 on other stuff.

DO NOT befriend any of the stray dogs. They will then be yours for the whole holiday and even wait outside your room when you get home! They are fine with women but not keen on men i think due to the occasional local who sadly mistreats them. There seem to be about 4 or 5 in the town and you will soon see them. They are harmless. Just leave them be.

ummmm i think thats it. I too had read some bad reviews before i went but after seeing it first hand i am glad i chose to ignore them. Nice place, nice people.

Hi people no photos yet im afraid. As for clubs i think most were open and a handful were still adding a last lick of paint. Oh and its of any interest to anyone we reckoned the number of girls quite easily outweighed the number of guys on holiday but that of course was only our week!

I dont want to over sell the place as obviously everybody has a different standard but at the end of the day your gonna be by the pool, the beach or in the bars and thay are all good! Best bar = Eidelweis, cheap drinks and DJ's a good laugh.

PS weather was hot hot hot.....till the last day...we got to the airport and it rained!!
