We're just back from Corfu Sea Gardens. It was so great that we didnt want to leave. The apartments themselves were comfortable. The rexeptionists were helpful but we didnt like Heidi, she was really annoying and unhelpful. All the staff employed are relatively friendly but none as much as the entertainment team. They were brill. The shows they put on were amazing. Two thumbs up to Jane who oraganised the shows. Helan, Darren and Alan have great singing voices and Emma and Natalie and Jane are superb dancers. The best of them all though has to be Alan Wood, he is really funny and makes your time there fun for everyone. The restaurant served lovely food at good prices and the waiters are friendly too. Paula at the pool bar rocks, she's really friendly and always up for a chat. Kavos itself wasnt a very nice place to visit but Aspro Kavos is very peaceful. The Thomson reps are great at accomidating all your holiday needs, and are really friendly too. Two thumbs up for Laurie and Chris(when we left he had hurt his foot, i hope he feels better). I would definately reccomend this holiday to all my friends and would definately go again. Me and my friends especially loved the entertainers cartoon heroes song and dance and the mimic man(absolute musts if you want a laugh).
We are just back from Sea Gardens it was great the entertainment was great and all the staff were very help fully. Would well recommend it for single, couples or familys very clean rooms and the hotel area is keep very well lovely gardens, pool and bar. Thanks to you all for a great holiday. Only one complaint lack of public transport.
The Northampton Lads spent a week at Sea Gardens and had a wicked time. The entertainment team were absolute legends and they made our stay quality. cheers to darren emma and nat for that. also Paula behind the bar is quality. she is a star especially with all the different kind of shots and cocktails she made up for us!!! She should get a massive pay rise!!!!
the resort was awesome but the only downside was when youre staggering back to your room at 6 in the morning the security guard isnt to impressesd!!!!haha!!!!
Cheers guys
Ginge and the rest of the Northampton boys
just returned back from these apartments after reading comments was dreading going but really pleased we did. entertainment was really good and staff were very friendly aspecially paula from pool bar, and animation team emma and natalie. Heidi and Barbara were very friendly at reception desk aspro kavos is very different from kavos and is very suitable for children as we took 3 children aged 7, 3 and 1 accomodation was good.
Just returned back 05 may 04. Excellent time had especially the kids, aged 3 & 1. The place as a whole was great, pools, bars, rooms, grounds. What made the holiday for us was the excellent entertainment team of Darren, Natalie & Emma great with us even better with the kids. Who can forget the touring entertainers as well, so proffesional, Jane, Maria and the wonderful voice of the lovely Helen. The staff at the complex were so friendly and helpful, especially Paula. The reps were always on hand at their set times if needed. Definately return here again 10/10

Does anyone have any pictures of this resort
Thank heavens we only paid £99 for this "holiday" - not a place I would recommend to anyone - only thing going for it was the huge swimming pool and the children's pool and the two bedroomed apartment.
Towels and bed linen were not changed the week we were there. Reps non existent - my two year old daughter trod on a tack by the pool and the hotel did not even have an accident book - we were told to contact the rep - she was probably holidaying somewhere else!!
Would definitely not visit here again under any circumstances even if it were offered free
Myself, husband and 14 year old daughter holidayed here for one week on August 11-18 2003. This 'so-called' last minute booking cost us £960.00 - a waste in my opinion. While I couldn't fault the cleanliness, it was basically like a butlin's holiday camp - great for noisy families but not so for the teenager or for adults who wanted to enjoy greek culture. Kavos itself was a **** hole with all manner of disgusting things left on the beach from the night before! There was nothing 'Greek' about the place - believe me, if you want a relaxing holiday PLEASE set your sites on the upper end of the island - this end is Blackpool and Skegness all rolled into one! The only consolation for me was that 'Paula' at the bar was a breath of fresh air who I could talk to about my disappointment, and I did manage to find somewhere that did greek salad and stifado! I have seen Corfu at its most beautiful when I holidayed in Sidari, Roda, Paleo, etc. Kavos i'm afraid is the ugliest area of corfu so beware!
just back from the sea gardens great holiday for adults and kids could not complain about hotel or entertainment both excellent just listen to aqua's cartoon superheroes before you go!!!!
pool was massive, accomodation was great, safebox is free but no fans in rooms and late bookout fee was 42euros.
reps wot reps they where crap!!!!!!
airtours are pulling out of this hotel and it is in the thomsons 2004 summer book.
would love to go again.
we liked it
what the hotel is like and what there is to do there!!
First day back at work (20.05.03) following a week at this location.
To start I think everybody should be warned of the endless coach trip that awaits your arrival in Corfu. We left Gatwick at 11.00 p.m. and had a good flight, touching down around 4:00 local time. After seeking out the airtours rep we were directed to the transfer coach. I couldnt understand how a journey of 49km could take 2 hours!
To add insult to injury we arrived at one hotel in Kavos to 'drop off' some others on the coach. The rep was as good as a chocolate fireguard, after arguing with the driver and phoning the manager to let these new arrivals into the hotel another hour had passed. During this time I asked the driver 'how far to Sea Gardens? he said 5 mins on the bus 10 if you are walking.
If I had known the way I would have walked. That rep did nothing for us!
I agree with everything Emma has said above, but suggest you avoid the airtours reps as well
After driving through Kavos at 6.00 a.m I wasn’t looking forward to getting to our apartments but when we arrived I was really pleased, it was definitely the best place in the area.
The swimming pool is a good size and nice and clean. The beach is a bit of a let down because it’s so small but it’s better than nothing. The pool bar was a bit overpriced for drinks, but the snacks weren’t too bad. Our apartment was quite big for two of us, it had another bedroom and toilet on a gallery upstairs. It was very clean and the maids tidied up after us every day! The balcony was quite big too.
The walk into Kavos wasn’t too far, but it was really hot in the afternoons. The taxis were quite expensive and the bus service was non-existent. I wouldn’t recommend walking back late at night though, it was pitch black.
Kavos itself wasn’t too bad, probably because it was the beginning of the season. I wouldn’t go there in the summer months and I wouldn’t stay in the centre of Kavos. The Sea Gardens are in the perfect spot. Kavos is mainly a strip of bars, clubs and restaurants with tacky gifts shops thrown in. It’s good for young people and couples but definitely not families with children after about 10 p.m. It was mainly large groups of men who had started drinking in the afternoons.
A lot of people mentioned the sewer smells, it didn’t bother us too much probably because there weren’t a huge amount of people using it, but we did get a whiff now and then. Not very nice.
We went on the boat trip which is advertised by the reps as the Pirates Adventure. It was a good day out with a beach bbq and swimming in a blue lagoon. As long as you don’t mind your bikini top whipped off by Captain Theo. We also went on a boat shopping trip to Corfu Town but it took a while to get there, there was only three hours to shop and eat and it was late back. No one really bought anything and I definitely wouldn’t bother again.
The best bits about the holiday were the hot weather, plenty of places to eat and drink, lively nights, nice apartments and friendly people. The downside to it all was the smell, and the larger louts. I would definitely come back but I would only stay at these apartments.
What brilliant apartments. We arrived very early last Monday morning and after a few hours sleep, the view from our balcony really set us up for a great holiday. The apartments are located right on the coast. They are kept extremely clean and the facilities are brilliant.
Just a short walk in Kavos itself to enjoy all its varied bars and restaurants whether it's for a quiet meal or a lovely night out.
Im going to the corfu sea gardens in Aspro kavos in July have you got any info on the area and the hotel???
