We got dropped off at stupid o clock in the morning and it was a little daunting to be dropped off and have to walk down this dingy little lane but all this changed the next day when i got up - little did i know that this was gonna feel more like a home to me than you could possibly ever imagine. The weather was so beautiful for mid september. We had 2 days of little rain and then it was never cold. Back to the apartments- Me and my bloke stayed in number 11 and my mate and her fella stayed in 14 i swear to god they are so nice for 2 star perfectly clean. the only bad thing is seperate beds if your going wit your fella but then sometimes its a bonus lol!!! One thing you will find hard is sticking your toilet roll in the bin-this takes some getting used to but after 2 weeks there you do get used to it.

![]() What a wonderful place to spend your holiday, the staff are great, friendly, helpful, they will go out of their way to make your time there fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble. If you want a card reading done Tracey is fabulous Lynn, Ann,Dimitri, and Rocky are all equally as wonderful. We went early May and Kavos was very quiet but would imagine it to be a very lively resort in high season, but the Sunrise offers a quiet retreat but still plenty of laughs and hospitality. The rooms are very clean and substantial, the maid cleans them and provides clean linen every day. The pool is one of the best I have ever seen anywhere in Europe. Yes if you are looking for a first class, value for money holiday, then I would recommend the SUNRISE APARTMENTS to anyone.

We arrived at Sunrise in Cavos, warly May and stayed for a week. And what can I say?! What a wanderful surprise. Sunrise is absolutely lovely. The apartment was clean and much better than we expected. The pool was gorgeous, the food was very reasonabely priced, the staff definitely made it though. They are so helpful, Anne, Lynn, Tracey, everyone was so lovely. Cavos itself, obviosly is the party town of the island, so is a bit of a dump. You have to hire a car / quads and explore the island, cause it so beauiful and it's loads of fun. We found loads of gorgeous beaches, and lovely villages, serving wanderful greek food.
But staying at Sunrise really made it, the cleaner was great, she always made sure our apartment was clean and tidy. The only thing i would say though- is birng your own toilet roll.
Will definitely be going back to Sunrise. Enjoy!
![]() PS. Of course there are mozzies....just like in any hot country! Pop down to the local super market and buy a plug liquid thing for a few Euros, they keep it burning for the whole week, it kept them away, we only got bitten the lats night when we went out Quad biking.
And we did have an ironing board- but then who wants ot iron on holiday!?!??!

My and my friend have just got back from Kavos. Arrived there at 4am and our room was occupied by someone else. Waited an hour without a rep for the owner to open another room for us.
Got bitten by mozzies that night.
No toilet roll all week.
The rooms weren't cleaned once whilst we were there.
Took them 2 days to provide an ironing board.
No air conditioning.
Pool and bar area very clean and not too noisy.
Taxi's code 6-7 euros (£4.50 approx) per ride. This soon adds up over the week believe me.
Kavos was quiet in general this week, shouldn't have been, no reason but that the resort is dying. Spoke to several shop owners and they say the same.
Go somewhere else, Laganas Zante was twice as good as this place. Trust me.
Any info just email me.
Hope this helps.

Oh my god, what a great place to stay!
If you like it to be quiet in the day and chill be the pool then this is the place to be. Great staff, especially Lin, Tracy and Demitri. This is my third time staying at Sunrise, wouldn't stay anywhere else, check out the barbeque if you get time. The pool is extremely clean, so were the rooms, you've got all you need in one place. If the shop isn't open, then there's another one a 10 minute walk down the road, but it's still worth staying here. It's about a 20 minute walk into Kavos depending on how hot it is!! A taxi is only 6 euros into Kavos if you don't want to walk. Wouldn't recommend to families with young children as there isn't much for them to do except swim!! Food is great and real value for money, the beach is right next to the pool area and what a view!! Cracking place, definately be back soon ![]() ![]()

Sunrise apartments are the best! The people there are the friendliest Ive met, Lynne, Tracey, Dimitri and Ann. When you arrive the rooms are usually ready for you, if not then take a stoll into the bar and have a Woo Woo (cranberry juice, vodka coctail) and chill by the pool. Its more like a small community rather then an Apartment block, the people that were there when we were are all amazing!! The food is excellent, Tracey cooks with her heart and you can really tell! Also if you want a peek at what your future holds she is a very (very) accurate tarot reader. Dimitri if the funiest man alive! And Lynne is a sweetheart who will look after you. The apartments are a 25 minute walk on the roads to Kavos or a 5 minute walk on the beach, its far enough out that there is hardly any noise which makes it great for families and couples. Its also close enough to the nightlife for folk of all ages. If you fancy a real traditional Greek meal though take a half hour walk into Lefkimmie (spelt wrong).I would give this place 15 out of 10 and recommend it to anyone and everyone...its safe, clean, friendly, compact, and easy to travel to and from!!
