Michelangelo Village

Our family have stayed here on 4 occassions in the large 2 storey apts

This was the best holiday! I  took my aunt, who has never been abroad before and every waiter, barman and receptionist and even lady from the shop remembered her when I took her back in two years later! Restaurant brilliant and very well priced, room was very clean and was cleaned daily, fresh sheets every 3 days and fresh towels every other day. Pools were very clean, and bar staff were lush!!!!!! And was obviously sad to come home!!!!! Well its that good and everyone is that friendly, that I am a University Student Midwife and I am going back next year, year after and until I get bored or service changes, so if it changes next year there will be comment but cant see it changing!

19.6.06. Just back from a week at Michaelangelo. Clean enough although never saw the pool being cleaned! No need to be up before 8.30 for sunbeds.

Had a great 2 weeks from 24.6.05-8.7.05.  The studio apartment was compact, but they do vary in size.  Linen and towels changed twice weekly and maid is in most day s to tidy up beds and clean, but not Sunday.  The complex is brilliant and everyone is so friendly.  The supermarket is very well stocked and Jenny who is on the checkout is the owner.  She is very nice. If you want air conditioning then you will pay about 80 euros for this and your safe deposit, but it is worth it.

It was very very very very ccccoooooooolllllllll, the bar staff were so cool, and one of the bar men was very very very fit haha

We were there 2nd week in october 2003. Nice apartments, but really need bathroom cleaned daily as its a shower tray and this means floor gets wet & also the toilet bins have to lie unemptied for two days per week as maid service is only 5 times.

Great views and stony beach (take velcro sandals for swimming walking) less than 5 mins away. Kassiopi is lovely at night & recommend Spyros (next to hotel) or Strofilia (main street) or Kyma (overlooking harbour & Albania)for Greek food. Little Italy (left at main square) for gourmet Italian food.

Weather was very variable & the village was in wind-down mode at this time of year but prices were being reduced as a result!

We went to Michaelangelo Apartments in July 2003 and it was amazing, a short walk to a pebbly beach or a hop on a moped away to any beautiful beach on the island, perfect for couples who want a quiet holiday sightseeing or lazing by the pool/beach. Food it fantastic and cheap(£18 for a meal for 2 with nice wine), Greek night at the Hotel is excellent £17 each for a sample of Greek food and Greek dancing, a def fun night! It was sooo good, we are going again in May :o)

I went to michelangelo village in the last 2 weeks of July. It was extremly hot and the complex was very clean. Angelo behind the bar was very frienldly along with Emillios and Vaslai. I loved my holiday right until the minute i left and have allready booked to go back again next year. The beach is a bit pebbly but the sea is really nice. The greek night on the complex is well worth going to as you have alot of fun. There is supermarket is on the complex and there is another just as your going into the village. Kassiopi center is a 5 minute walk were you will find a good selection of resturants, bars, clubs and shops. There a lots of boat trips leaving from the habour and pleanty of day trips to the aquapark and Albania. They are all reasonably priced too. I cant wait till next year counting down the days all ready.

Five of us girls went to Kassiopi in August for 2 weeks and had a great time. We stayed at Michaelangelo which was a great location for both Avlaki beach and Kassiopi centre. The rooms were cleaned a couple of times a week (although not regularly)and there was the odd 'leaky shower' problem, but nothing to make us say that we wouldnt return. The staff were very friendly, particularly Emelios and Vasili, who put a lot of effort into entertaining and looking after the guests. Posted by Liz, Lynn, Helena, Helen and Lucy.

Stayed at MIchaelangelo in August.Had to pay for sun loungers, travel cots toilet paper etc etc. Many complaints in hotel this year.Cleaner/owner came in twice in the two weeks that we were there.Some guests were cleaning the bathrooms themselves! I was annoyed that you had top pay 56 euros for a travel cot and that you had to pay 27 euros to keep your room on for six further hours on your last day. we had to be out of the room at 12 our flight home was at 5 the following morning. We did book a shower room at half hour slots for 6 euros; they do not supply towels! Thanks to cosmic travel;they lent us a travel cot and we booked many trips with them. Kasioppi was lovely.

Hi,we're getting married at the end of sept and our honeymoons booked for the first 2 weeks of Oct. Could anyone inform us what the weather will be like by then? And also if the resort has started to close down for the end of season?

we have stayed at michelangelo for the past 5 years and love it .it is short walk down to the harbour but a long drag up again .the staff are very friendly and the supermarket is well stocked .there is plenty to do and the bar staff are VERY friendly and helpful.you can get a bus to all the nearest resorts .if you fancy an english sunday dinner try mickeys just up the road .also the little taverna beside michelangelo do a good meal .say hi to jenny in the shop for me .also emelio.billy.and angelo in the bar.you can also get a meal in the resort restaurant and tell emelio ronnie sent you .plenty of boat trips .greek nights .disc,s and a trip to corfu is worth while .but search around for the best price.dont book from the rep until u have looked about as there is plenty of other places cheaper .have a lovely holiday .

We went to Kassiopi for the first time this year and loved it! Stayed at Katia beach which is round the corner from Michaelangello. The shop is well stocked and the staff are lovel, they can't do enough for you. Plenty to do in Kassiopi. By day, hire a car (from Cosmic Travel) and explore the island, visit Aqualand or Corfu town, take one of the boat trips from the harbour, drive to Paleocastritsa and take a boat trip in the caves, go to Sandy Beach. LOADS. By night, take the boat trip to Corfu town, visit one of the MANY EXCELLENT restaurants in Kassiopi, have a couple of drinks in every bar and I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time.

i am going to kassiopi in september and staying in michaelangelo, could you give me info on kassiopi-things to do and see?

as u can see we have been a lot i dont know about life saving maybe the big hotels have them (there are not many) but there are quite a lot of english work in bars .so give it a try

have been to michelangelo the last four years and are going back this year again so can see we love it. the staff are friendly and helpful and there is now a supermarket on site this year .it can be hot and have to hire a fan but that is not a problem .ronnie

excellent holiday, better than we could have imagined. Friendly bar and restaurant staff, food available all day. Plenty for kids and teenagers. Hardly ever saw my 15 year old daughter, she found many friends her own age and kassioppi town was safe for her to go at night. choice of three pools and kids pool also. appartment was very clean. we went in august 2001 and weather was scorching hot, we had to hire a fan for our appartment - this is a must. supermarket was a short stroll away, the proprieter will change travellers cheques for you, he is very obliging. waterpark worth a visit, we intend to go again either later this year or next. ten out of 10.
