Just got back from Kassiopi and had great time.!The Angeliki are no longer with a UK operator. They are now with a Serbian comp.We were in the Sirioti appts but used the Angeliki daily.Still great place round pool area.!Same faces there from last year who had to stay elsewhere but preferred the Angeliki still.!People who had been put in the Phillipos did n't like it very busy and noisy pool and would come here instead. No problem with sunbeds no matter what time of day.
Have just arrived back from staying at the Philippos apts. These apts are in a central location and are basic but clean. Fairly quiet at the moment, but was informed that they get quite rowdy in July/August! If you have young children, make sure that you have not been allocated a duplex apt, as they have a open spiral staircase that can be quite dangerous.
Booked 2 wks in the Angelika 15/8 got call from Direct Holidays saying they have pulled out of the Angelika - have put us up in the Phillipos. Does anyone know who is now booking with the Angelika. Very annoyed with Direct Holidays as they have had our money since last September. CAN ANYONE LET ME KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE ANGELIKA APPTS.
3rd time we've stayed here - returned 30/8. Disappointed with ground floor 2 bed apartment - no privacy, concrete mixing at 8am first week right outside door. Think it's bad that you don't know what apartment you've booked till you get there - would definitely not want to end up in that apartment again!
However, pool, bar food, etc., good as ever and location couldn't be bettered - 5 minutes from the beach, Janis Restaurant and Illusions Bar!
Stayed 2 weeks 2nd aug.Pleasantly surprised with appt.2 bed appt for 5.2 showers and toilets and we had shower curtains which some people did'nt.!!!Great pool area and bar for drinks and snacks.!!Very reasonable cheaper than Solaris opp.Very central for everything.!!Can`t wait to return!!Bad photo in direct brochure.!!
WE'RE ALSO STAYING AT ANGELIKA IN 2 BED APARTMENT.DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON THESE APPTS GOOD OR BAD?? THANKS.
Stayed at Angelitsa Complex in July 2001 - the tour operator was Olympus. The apartments were fine but not the cleanest. You basically had to clean the apartment yourself. But, it's a great pool for familes and kids, nice and friendly owners with a good, reasonably priced bar. Very central but still quiet. The one bedroom apartments which are supposed to sleep 3 is a bit of a joke really. There were two single beds in the bedroom and a very small folding bed (only suitable for a child really) in the kitchen which was so small that when you unfold it and lie on it you end up with your head right beneath the sink and the cooker! But we still enjoyed our holiday as the location and pool made up for it. I have heard that Direct Holidays have taken this over and they apartments have been refurbished.
Are these appts. in Direct brochure as Angelika appts?Trying to find info on them. Thanks
Hi I'm going to the Angeliki aparts next June I was wondering what the cooking facilities consisted off is there a kettle or toaster or are you better off eating out.Is it a shower or bath/shower over. Any other info greatfully recieved. thanks
i have stayed in the Angelitsa/Angeliki apartments 5 times and we love them! the pool bar is very quiet and does gorgeous milkshakes and the food is good! the staff are very friendly and the pool area is also good - with an adult and baby pool. highly recommended!
basic greek apts with very good pool area suitable for families. Studios are advertised for 2/3 persons, but are definately not suitable for 3 beds!! They are situated down the small lane behind Jasmines and are 2 mins from the square.
