St George Sth

i have booked palm beach st george corfu, with thomas cook for july/august 2003. could anybody tell me any details on this hotel and resort as i have read bad comments from people who stayed at this hotel last year.

the beach was great our hotel was clean and tidy and everyone was very helpfull

we had agreat time

excellant place for a relaxing holiday good mixture of bars and tavernas locals very friendly a holiday from heaven

Has anyone stayed at the Likithos Apartments in St Georges please? They are new apartments which should have been finished this year. Any comments about them or the area would be much appreciated.

can anyone tell me what the Palm beach Hotel in St george is like? im set to got in a week and as bookin on the internet cannot find much information about it.

Can I just start by saying this site is brilliant! We travelled to Zante (Sandy Maria in Tsilivi)last yr and loved it, we found this site brilliant for feedback when we asked for help - well done! We are travelling to Corfu (St George)July this yr and I just wondered are there many appartments in this area of the island? The resort sounds great, I see from the two ladies comments b4 me, they stayed at the Blue Sea appartments. Did you see the Blue Diamond appartments by any chance? last yr was soooooo good 4 sunbeds(loads of em!!+no hoggers!!), peace, shops, restaurants e.t.c e.t.c, I'd really like this year to be similar.Any help would be great thanks,(email is luphillips69@hotmail.com)

I agree with Liz's comments. If you're after a nice relaxing holiday, just enjoying the sun, the beach and spending your evenings eating lovely food and watching the sun go down...this is the place to be. Not for hard and fast clubbers. The locals are lovely and try the food and cocktails at the Blue Sea apartments, the best! You may even see the local ladies walking past early afternoon with their donkey's loaded up with firewood - very Greek.

If your looking for a quietish base for your holiday this is it. You can find enough entertainment if you look for it and plenty of good restaurants, excellent beaches, clear blue sea, and the locals are lovely people.
