Resorts on Corfu

I am one of those who return numerous times to Agios Georgios. I do not entirely agree with an earlier review. Agreed there is no vigorous nightlife and young clubbers would be bored, but there are at least 20 tavernas or restaurants which are ample for most people.

The sandy beach is really good and one of the best in Corfu.
We ourselves never sit around a pool or on the beach all day although many visitors find the resort ideal to just "chill out" from a hectic lifestyle. The area is excellent for walking and is attractive by still being local Greek and not being commercialised.

Roll on next year.

I've just this minute got back from St George North. And stayed in Costas Golden Beach Hotel.
This Hotel is exactly what it says in the brochure. The manager Dimitrios, his family, and staff are the nicest, most genuine people you can ever wish to meet.
I'm only 25, and wanted a quiet peaceful holiday. the beach was great, and if you want excitement the staff are more than happy to entertain. The local tavernas are Typically Greek. If you want noise and the Clubbing enviroment, stay away.
I Would Highly Recomend This Hotel And Resort To ALL.
TRY IT, YOU WILL LIKE IT.
