Mythos

Thanks Spiros , George and Nikos for making the last two weeks a laugh. As usual the food was excellent and you guys can cheer anyone up.All those nights talking football and never once did you mention Olympiakos holding the record for the heaviest defeat in the Champions League , 7-0 to Juventus but now you've got Lua Lua from Pompey I'm sure you will improve! Cheers for all the lifts home Spiros , don't know if I could have made some nights.

This is a lovely place to go to. I had jacket potatoe with cheese and beans and something else but i can not remember what i had with it. But this place is GOOD for the money

Can only echo the comments people have made about this place. Truely superb. We ate there about 5 times and tried a different dish everytime. The boys work extreamly hard and deserve everytrhing they get. Places like this make your holiday special! We wrote on the wall (near to the toilets) just to let them know how much we loved this place. EVERYONE visiting Sidari MUST go here. Doug, Julieanne, Donna & Frazier

Only ate here once but that's because we didn't hear about it till midway through our second week. This place has to serve the largest portions ever.....when our order came out on two dustbin lids(), I thought it must be a set meal for a different table. 

ANYBODY READING THE PREVIOUS COMMENTS TAKE NOTE: THE FOOD AT MYTHOS IS STILL THE BEST IN SIDARI   LENA IS A WONDERFUL COOK AND IF ANYTHING ,THE PORTIONS ARE EVEN BIGGER THAN LAST YEAR. MY ADVICE ,GET YOURSELF DOWN TO THE RESTAURANT,YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED, THE BOYS ARE DOING A GREAT JOB. . wow what great food just got back friday and have to say this food was fantastic.the starter mussel saganaki try it ,main meal mousaka spot on topped of with toffe marshmallow ice cream for two with a bottle of wine 30 euros were talking world class food here with world class portions only fools walk past this place by the way george,spiros the photos will follow soon thanks again

We will be out  very  soon and we will be having our first meal at Mythos and many more in our 2 weeks.
We have been going to Mythos since it first opened and it is first class, food amazing and service excellent. Highly  recommended and the best in Sidari

We have just returned from Sidari, staying at the Louisa in Canal D'Amour - I had read about the mythos taverna on this internet site and couldn't remember where it was.

we have been coming to sidari for years now but this year was the first that we ate at the mythos restaurant and we absoluttely loved it1

This is one of the best restaurants in CORFU, never mind Sidari, the 3 brothers do a brilliant job and the food is extra special.

Had two meals here during our two week stay both excellent.  highly recommend theBeef Stiffado the best I have ever had  also the lamb off the spit. Also the waiter bought my husband two red wines to sample before he made his choice.

WE  WENT ON HOLIDAY TO SIDARI  ON THE 22/05/2005, WE HAD ONLY BEEN MARRIED FOR ONE DAY, WE  HAD BEEN TOLD ABOUT MYTHOS, BY MANY PEOPLE, FOR ITS GOOD FOOD AND GREAT COMPANY FROM SPIROS, GEORGE & NIKOS,WELL THEY DIDN`T DISAPOINT, WE WENT IN ON NIGHT ONE, AND THAT WAS IT, WE SPENT THE FULL 2 WEEKS THERE THE FOOD WAS EXCELLENT,  ECPECIALLY SPIROS`S MUMS CHICKEN PICKED OUR OWN THAT DAY IT WAS ON OUR PLATES  THAT EVENING,IT WAS TOP DRAWER. THE LADS WERE TOP, WE HAD SOME GOOD LAUGHS AND MANY LATE  NIGHTS,THE CARLING & VODKA WAS FLOWING VERY WELL FOR ME AND CATHERINE WHICH LEFT US  MOST NIGHTS, WE COULDN`T HAVE PICKED A BETTER PLACE FOR OUR HONEYMOON, WITHOUT THE LADS, I DONT THINK WE WOULD OF ENJOYED IY AS MUCH, WE HAVE ALREADY BEEN BACK IN SEPT 2005, AND WE ARE GOING BACK IN 2006,

we visited mythos in july '05 on about the 4th night of a 2 wk stay.how i wish we hadn't wasted all that time.spiros is a host like no other, along with his brothers nikos & george they provide an excellent night out. fab food, good humour,excellent food ( especially lamb kleftico ). they also do a desert called the calorie counter thats worth a try just to see if you can get to the bottom of the bowl. if you're going to sidari any time soon make sure you give it a try & see if you get hooked like we did.

what a mad resurant i loved it.... my bro was vvvv ill one day and the older bro... sorry 4 got ur name!! offered to take my bro bk to the apts which i thought was amazingly lovely we have been c*min 2 sidari 4/5 yrs and love it even more so we love u all at mythos and guess what boys.... natalie will b back this summer!! with out the parents again tho this yr they buyin house in bulgaria ready to sell up and move to greece!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im movin 2 sidari in july nxt yr so with out fail il b in most nites for my tea!!! every meal was amazingly big and moreish

excellent food and excellent drink if you don't want drambuie(ha ha). george is the best barman in sidari when he smiles. nikos is our little angel and we look on him as our little brother . there is no-one that can look after you better than spiros. if you have not been to this restraunt/bar i must ask why not?. this has become our second home and this place gives you the true meaning of greek hospitality.see you in june lads, love nicky&mommaxx

The food was great, The staff were lovely.  It was the best place to eat in all of Sidari.

Thanks Chris, I used to live in Sidari and have never seen it. Needed to find out what the restaurant next to churchills was aswell. Do you know at all?Will definately try here when I return. Its good to read what the tourists say about Sidari.

When you leave Canal De Amour walk straight over the bridge (passing Loxides, Blondy's) and keep walking till you get to the T-junction by the Three Little Pigs and Siesta. Turn right and walk up about 50-75 yards. Mythos is on your left just past Alkion Sidari Hotel. Give our regards to the brothers and make sure you haven't eaten all day!

can anybody please tell me where this restuarant is? is it near churchills in canal d'amour? 

Where do we start.... we tried this place out at the end of our first week - we returned five times in our last seven nights! What a brilliant restaurant. It's very difficult to find any faults as, in our view, there aren't any.

We ate in Mythos restaurant nearly every night of our 2week stay in Sidari.  The prices were very reasonable, every meal we had was lovely including greek dishes, english dishes and steak and the service was excellent!  The Rikos brothers who run the restaurant - Spiros, George and Nikos were great and went out of their way to help everyone, answering any questions you had and recommending dishes on the menu.  Would definately recommend a visit as the food was possibly the best we've ever had and everyone is made to feel very welcome.  Hoping to visit again soon!  (Hello to little Dimitris!)

My Wife,son & myself have being going to Mythos for the past 6 years so we have seen this place expand. We always go the latter part of September, early October. The restaurant was originally owned by Minos and his wife Marinella and was exceptional.Last year was the first time that we came into contact with Spiros, George & Nicos and what a pleasure that was.We eat at their place every night for two weeks and went through to Menu from Fish to Greek Dishes and never got bored.Always have the house wine which is great white, red or rosa
it is all great and very cheap.
We are gooing again this year and cannot wait to see the boys again.

hello the rikos brothers, we never ate in this resturant we just drank at the bar, i must say the cocktails are fantastic and cheap. i promise next time i come il eat some food at this resturant as the smell is mouthwatering. nicos your such a nice boy and genna really likes you, you just need to trust her more, your one of the nicest greek boys to talk too and your english is good aswell. george your so fit:-) thanks for your chat mora mou. see you soon love gem, gen and hel

We went to Mythos on five occasions in our 2 week stay in Sidari. Firstly, the Rikos' are the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. Spiros, George, and Nicos (not forgetting little Dimitris!) made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. This made our holiday very special - thanks guys!!
Secondly, the food was out of this world!! Quite easily the best food i have experienced, and for the price, this has to be the best value for money in any place i have been before.
Every time there was a great atmosphere at Mythos, really warm and friendly. Any questions we had regarding the menu were answered in great detail by Spiros (especially inmportant as my girlfriend is vegitarian)and this was much appriciated.
My personal favourite from the menu was the Kleftiko. Exquisite is an understatement! It was presented in a parcel of pastry rather than foil making it stand out from other places we had been to and it tasted fantastic! Also tried the beef Stamna which again was lovely.
I cant speak highly enough of Mythos and all being well, will try and book Sidari next year.
Anyone who loves good food, Mythos is a must!

Nicos was so sweet, exspeshly wid his groove t-shirt on(I am nicos i am a bad boy). George his bro was nice as well, but he was the real bad boy!! i agree wid allie do not enter after 4, wid kids !!!!! want a gd chat then nicos is the person 2 go 2, with him noing little english he is so sweet trying his best to get the words out!! Go and find out for you'r self!!

I loved this place it was great....me and my cousin would go here after we had bin out drinking all night at about 4 when it was quiet and we wuold talk with Nicos and George, and when they where tired and wanted to close they didn't complain they would letus stay until what ever time we wanted!! But i advise you not to take your kids in there after 4....

We visited mythos several times Spiros, Georgis and Nikos gave us a great time. I felt I had knowm them for years, and I had only just met them. The food and hospitality you receive is great, and after your meal you can sit and watch a film and drink all night, definately a place to visit for a good night.

Very helpful staff. Very good food. We asked questions about the Mezes that we ordered and were treated to a short lesson in greek cuisine. Every time we walked past, we were recognised and given a friendly 'Yasas'.

Wasn't that impressed with portion size as was pretty stingy compared to other meals we had, service very friendly and overall quite cheap but glad we had starters and mains or we would have still been hungry.

Nice setting out of town but wouldn't rush to go back.

Very, very good meal. Stuffed pepper and meatballs for starter were excellent, with equally good stamna veal and moussaka as mains. Couldn't fault the meal. "on the house" melon - freebies are thin on the ground in Sidari - followed by liqueur coffee (when they remembered how to make them).

Second visit grilled feta and vine leaves were excellent, thought the stamna not as good, pastitsada was very spicy by nice. Quiet that night, so the staff were more attentive than on our first visit.

Still our favourite of the holiday.

Situated on the left hand side on the peroulades road just past the 3 pigs T junction the decor falls quite a long way behind the Ritz but the food, the welcome, the service and the price makes this restaurant for us the best in Sidari. Like all good chefs the one at Mythos only uses the very best ingrediants and the result is fantastic food served to people who seem to return time and time again. Excellent Excellent Excellent
