Has anyone any first hand experience of staying at Kosmar's Perros Apartments or Lena Sudios in Sidari? I would appreciate good and bad reviews.Thankyou.

Can anyone give me any advise on:-
1.local transport in Sidari. -Taxis, buses, bicycle hire etc.
2.Traditional Greek restaurants in Sidari.
3.Best supermarkets to purchase "in-house" food and drink!!

How suitable is this resort for people with walking difficulties?
Can anyone recommend an accomodation that is suitable for some one using a wheelchair. Thankyou.

Just returned from 2 weeks holiday in Sidari.
Brilliant location, really peaceful but beware of the OWNER, MOZZIES and other NASTY BITING INSECTS due to all the smelly and stangnant ditches in the surrounding area. Everyone at the studios suffered with nasty bites. Such a shame because the resort has everything you need. Good local supermarkets, bars and tavernas.
Studios OK but in our opinion very, very basic compared to other Kosmar properties we have stayed in for the same price.We have been on many Kosmar holidays in different Greek Islands over the past ten years but this accomodation left a lot to be desired.
We were NOT at all impressed by the attitude of the owner who only is interested in one thing -MONEY - the money he can take off the guests sooner than providing the basic requirments for two people and how he could make them more comfortable in the accomodation by ensuring that the accomodation is properly equipped for the arrival of the guests, providing sufficient linen (towels), changing the linen more often than once a week, making sure there are no obstacles to fall over on the pathway leading up to the accomodation, providing sink plugs that were missing, rectifying faulty lighting on the outside stairway etc. etc.
If you DO choose to stay in these Studios, make sure you take your own large bath towels with you as only small hand towels are provided and be prepared to provide your own toilet rolls. If you have any problems with the accomodation, see the Kosmar rep. Don't even consider asking the owner for anything as all you will get from him is verbal abuse.
P.S. Alexis Pool studios and Perros studios are really good.
"The Family" taverna served the best traditional food in the resort. Lovely staff and an excellent chef and manager.
The "Mythos Bar" is a great place to be entertained by Spiros, Georgie and Nicos. Superb roast lamb and piglet cooked on a spit.

Exchange rate very good at the moment.(4th - 18th June 2004) We used "Nationwide" Debit cards at the ATMs (hole-in-the-wall) and recieved between 1.49€ and 1.51€ to the £ without any tranaction fees.

How pleased I am to see a comment from obviously an intelligent person with high standards and expects good quality accomodation when they go on holiday.
It seems that some holiday makers are prepared to accept far lower standards than us. I think that we are entitled to make our comments or critisisms on this property and resort as that was the intention of this web site!!
