this is my familys second time in sidari on 2nd time arriving back we stayed at other end off strip so we ate at a few different restaurants we noticed the oasis restaurant seemed quite cheap on the boards there was 6 of us and all ordered starters saganaki well ive never witnessed anything like it was presented to us as melted cheese which wasnt cooked we then had our mains and again horrified to c wot was produced my pork was hot on the outside ice cold on the inside it was totally disturbing to have this served to yourself the waiters are so ignorant they dont listen to wot u r ordering and as for the owner say no more there was another family who were having the same problems as us with there food and the boss approached there table and totally lost the plot with the family banging his fist on there table shouting at them poor kids were terrified he is an animal i would not and i mean recommend this place to anyone ive travelled greek islands and always loved the people and hospitality but that animal needs to learn the meaning off the word respect if you want a good restaurant try salt and pepper near to the supermarket stay away from the OASIS
We ended up eating at the Oasis for most of our holiday. The food was beautiful and the waiters were brilliant, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. They even saved our 20th anniversary from being a total disaster! On Sundays they do Greek dancing etc, this is not to be missed in fact we did it twice, loads of fun! We will be going back to Sidari next year and we will definately be eating there, can't wait to have the stuffed peppers and the peppered steak...delicious!
we ate at the oasis on the 12th of october this year, we must have been there too early, the meal was hurridly prepared and looked like the waited cooked it himself as no other staff was there.
The food here was lovely and the waiting staff were friendly and attentive
Oasis is certainly the best restaurant in Sidari located towards the upper end of the main road, past the service station. We tried many restaurants during our stay and returned the Oasis on our last night as it was our favourite restauant both for food and service and apparently the waiter is eye candy so my partner tells me..lol
The Oasis bar was where we ate most times, it offers a great menu, not expensive either, Gregory is the owner. The Sifado was my favourite, this is large pieces of beef in a thick red wine gravy with whole small onions that melt in your mouth and served with potatoes. The local wine there is nice too, it tended to be light and refreshing to taste and I never had a hangover with it.. Couldn't recommend this taverna enough. It is situated in the quiet end of Sidari on the main road.
My husband and I went there on our first night and we were really impressed! Kleftiko is really good there. Staff were very friendly and we thought the prices were OK too. Try it, we recommend it.
This is the best resaurant in sidari. The food was excellent, the waiters were friendly and the prices were very very reasonable. They have a childrens menu too. Myself, my friend and my daughter went there most nights and had 2 starters, main course each and desserts plus carafs of wine and it never came to more the 42 euros. The feta cheese on their greek sald is to die for, just melts in your mouth. The kleftiko is fantastic and so are the stuffed peppers. Do go there if you get chance. It's on the way to the BP garage.
The food and service were excellent throughout the holiday - we ate here more times than at any other restaurant. Prices were very reasonable and there was a good veggie selection. We would definitely recommend it!
Just come back after having a super week. Ate 3 times at the Oasis. There Greek Nite is fanstantic and alot of fun. The food and service is excellent. Well recommended.
We went to Oasis quite a few times during our stay in Sidari. The food is good and the service is excellent. There was a good selection of Greek food, pizza-type menus and international food (Sunday roast, lamb chops, chips, etc.) We would recommend it. One point though, we went there in June and there were a lot of birds nests above the terrace where we were sitting, and lots of babies just hatched. So beware!
