We went to Oasis quite a few times during our stay in Sidari. The food is good and the service is excellent. There was a good selection of Greek food, pizza-type menus and international food (Sunday roast, lamb chops, chips, etc.) We would recommend it. One point though, we went there in June and there were a lot of birds nests above the terrace where we were sitting, and lots of babies just hatched. So beware!
we have just come back from the stema. they are very spacious and are in an excellent location, being in a quiet lane just minutes from the beach. however, there is air conditioning but hot water is very spa**e. indeed, one day we had no water at all, but i understand this is a common problem in greece. they should have ensured a good hot water system instead of the air conditioning. they are not cleaned every day and the sheets don't fit the beds. the pool is excellent, there are plenty of sunbeds. they are building a third block by the looks of things. oh, and you only get one toilet roll provided. once you have finished that, you have to buy your own!
it was quiet when we were there but i should imagine it is quite noisy in july and august. owners friendly. pool bar excellent with good food.
This is a good bar. They have a good selection of films. Bit of noise from the traffic outside though.
Worst thing is the seating is rather old and tatty. Could do with a makeover.
We stayed there in September 2003. The pool was finished then. They did not appear to be building another one but there would be plenty of room between the blocks for another pool to be built. They were building a third apartment block but not another pool, at least not when we were there. The pool there is is very nice indeed, plenty of sunbeds around it. I would imagine it would be very busy in July, it was relatively quiet when we went in September. I would definitely recommend these apartments, but be aware of the lack of hot water in your apartment. You have to keep the tap or shower turned on for about 5 minutes before the hot water comes through. This is such a waste of water, when supposedly there is a shortage.
Has anyone stayed at the Michelangelo Apartments in Kassiopi? I'm just wondering whether to book them. They are in the Portland brochure. I want to go in September. If anyone knows what they are like, I would be interested in knowing.
Many thanks.
Has anyone been to the Michelangelo apartments in Kassiopi. They are in the Portland brochure. I don't know if they are new, but I can't seem to find any information on them on this website.
I think I have seen it in one of the Thomson brochures, but I'm not sure which one and also in the Panorama brochure.
