We found how to get back to these studio apartments by e-mailing Travelwithfriends or Castaway Travel to give its other name. Sue Tsirigoti was most helpful and we had a great holiday at the Yiannoula again. We now are having our holidays in the Kostas Apartment which is organised by Sue. We are independant travellers so love this arrangement. We book the apartment we want, book a flight and when we arrive there is a lovely welcome pack in the apartment. The familt are on site and they are great. We would not have it any other way. Peter Pan says so.
We have stayed at the Yianoulla studos 3 times in the last 18 months so you will understand our need to know if any other holiday company have taken over bookings for these studios. We want to holiday there every June and are desperate for information. The nabes of the owners are Blachos but that is all I know. We wouls appresiate any info.
we was there for final euro 2004 exelent taught the brits how to celebrate without trouble clean rooms great location frendly owners top quality cheap holiday well done goldensun!
We arrived about 4.a.m. on the 11th May 2004 and was horified to find cobwebs covered all over the wooden base of the beds one end to the other. Both my sister and I have a phobia of spiders and it took us both an hour to clean both beds before we could sleep in them. In general the whole room needed a thorough clean. We chose Acharavi because we were informed it was quiet, not so. Every night about 3.am dogs barking which set off the dog barking below our studio. During the day it was like a building site, with drilling and hammering going on most of the day. We wont be booking with Golden Sun again.
Studio was basic and you had to supply your own toilet paper. Towels were changed every three days. Not enough cutlery and had to go out and buy some.
Great view of our local Zanzibar if staying at the back
