could somebody help me in finding the web site or address for MATOULAMatuola appts. were excellent ,always cleaned except sundays, the pool area is also great always enough loungers and umbrellas a bit disappointing is their was no entertainment and absolutely none for the kids the rep. for this hotel was basically non-existant did not inter-act with kids and was just their for a few minutes and gone.Thankfully met up with some lovely people,Sandra and George, and our son made some friends.
We go here all the time and the blocks are all quite and cool at night .try the hydropolis park 10 mnis for the matoula.top of the road and turn left )great day out
I am staying this year at Matoula appts. have read so many good comments am greatly reassured, we have a son of 6yrs. so looking forward to the pool area can you recommend any particular block as he likes to sleep quite early ,so away from the noise?
thank's

really nice place went there twice last year goin there again june 1st for two weeks
hi cheryl,
We used to always stay at the Matoula, and last went 6 years ago, we moved out to Acharavi in 2001 and worked in Whispers. We are going back again this year, end of June, can anyone tell me if Spiros is the bloke who used to run Whispers or not?. Cant wait to go back. Love the place so much
We've been many times to Acharavi, and to many different apartments, and stayed at Matoula three times. We found the Matoula some of the best in Acharavi.
One of our favourite bars was Woody's, who is no longer there, but is run by Woody's family, Agkis and Rena. You must try Sunday lunch! Mind the step! (family joke)

dont really need air con, the rooms stay quite cool. i dont remember exactly about the reception, i know it wasnt open on sundays so make sure you change money and get stuff out before sunday for sunday. safe didnt cost to much, but worth it anyway because best to keep important things safe
We stayed at the Matoula the first two weeks in July and had a fantastic time. The kids (10,8&6) made some great friends and loved Spyros, many a time he gave them free drinks or a game of pool, the man is great!! We did have a few thunderstorms on a night and one day it wasnt great, rain etc. We have been to Greece many times and found this really unusuall, but having come back and spoken to people this is quite common apparantly! All in All we had a brilliant holiday and wouldn't hesitate in going back.
hi. we got back from our 2nd stay at matoula on monday. It was an ace
holiday, weather was a bit rubbish on the second week with storms and
clouds. Hasn't changed much since 2002 when we were last there but the
place is still imaculatly clean!
The only negative - the mosqitoes!!! no amount of repellent seemsed to keep them at bay!
chloe
heyhey everyone
corfu here we come!!!!! weve been for 5 years on the trot and every year it gets better and better. wem going for 3 weeks this time becuse its just so good! me and ma mate nearly ended crying whe we has to go and were 16 . cant wait till greek night, it has to be on of the best nights out in corfu (especially wid da chep booze enit ellie) . anyone whos says they done like it well obviously they ent got taste becuz you dont get out much hehe. spiros is a legend and he best be there this year becuz " omg we lobe ya " lol . cant wait this type next week we'll be at the delight of corfu airpot . but its worth it. the drinks am on ellie hehe.!!!!For our first Family Holiday abroad, the matoula Apts had everything we needed. The Apts were immaculate and the daily maid service made us feel like we were really on holiday.
The best place to go for bars/clubs is Sidari about 10miles away from Acharavi, taxi's are cheap hope this helps!
