Venezia Restaurant

This is in our opinion the second best restaurant in Sidari (Kohe-noor slightly shades it). Excellent value for money, very friendly and good staff. Food is of a very high standard the best italian i have had for a long time! Make sure you go at least twice as there is so much to choose from!

I had read so many recommendations for this Italian restuarant I had to try it and it did not disappoint. The four of us all had different dishes ranging from various Pizzas to an assortment of spaghetti. Were very much impressed. The Calzone is so good I had it twice.(Not on the same night). The staff are friendly and will vary dishes to suit taste.I would say that the reputation of the restuarant is now so good that if you don't go early you have to queue. Also service suffers a bit when it gets busy.

Had fantastic meal in May and I promised George that I would put a comment on here, as I said the food was "orgasmic" and he said in all the 25 years he has been in the restaurant, nobody has ever said that to him before in describing the food. There you are George, sorry it is late, but I did promise I would send this.

Would recommend the food, I had super pizza and my husband had a delicious duck dish, the best meal of the holiday.

What a surprise......everybody rates it excellent. The best Italian food I've had in a long time.

Exceptional value and friendly staff make Venezia THE best restaurant in Sidari in my opinion. We got our picture taken with the staff on our last night, they were almost as sad that we were going home as we were!

We only discovered this place on our second last night, which was a pity. The food and service was excellent, but I could not believe the prices, they must be the cheapest in Sidari, especially for Italian food. A must for anybody who is visiting Sidari, this is probably one of the best places to eat.

One of the if not the best place to eat in Sidari.Venezia is great.The food and the service is excellent.The staff are warm and friendly,especially george.I recommend visiting Venezia when you go to sidari.I went 3 times

We loved this restuartant!!!! I wished that we'd gone there the first night to have had time to go back a few more times. Recommend the tortellini a la gorgonziola. Waiter service was brilliant. Definatly recommend it for an excellent night, miles better than everywhere else!

Laurence, venezia is at the end of the the town. If u are at the main crossroads on the street where mcdonalds is (lookin at mcd's wen its at ur righthand side, ohlala on ur left)... go up that road towards the wee petrol station on the right hand side, go on up that road, past the t&b, and legends apartments, it is then on up a wee bit on ur right hand side and there is a supermarket across the road thats down in a dip. Hope u find it, if not give me an email!!! Tell me uncle George I said hello!!! xx

What do you all think of my Uncle George's beard?? or as you would all know him as- "Big George" Im not fussed!!! I told him that!! The food is always great there. I've known George all my life and what I like about him is that he is what he is and if you dont like it- lump it!! Whem he comes to Ireland to visit us he is still the same person he is in Sidari. The reason Im saying this is because George is family and I read someone's comment on Venezia and they said George was a sad sod and for those of you who have met my uncle, you don't believe that do you??
Anyway, hope you all liked George's, i'll email him and tell him to come on this site and read your lovely comments and maybe leave a message!!

Great Food - Try the pizzas and home made lasagne. The service was good and the staff very friendly - recommended!!!

Excellent value and the staff are great - we received a very warm welcome each time we ate here, and the staff always had time for a laugh.

I recommend the seafood pasta!

our party ate there most nites food was incredible. exspecially the pizzas. waiters were absolutly stunning friendy very polite spoke perfect engish. they seemed to like our scottish slang. big hello to the sexy waiter georgio. thanks for the life time supply of bacon love & kisses michelle

good food and service lovely restaurant and a fair price for such a good night. the location is a bit far from the main centre but worth the walk

another eatery that has benifited from a great layout , the place used to be called the "new diamond" but since reopening as venizia it has aquired 2 great advantages, the classy terrace all the way to the road, and a realy good menue, oh go on then george as well,he makes the place buzz, but for god sake dont tell him or we will never live it down ,,,,,highly recomended

This is our favourite of all restaurants in Sidari. "Big George" the waiter used to be at "Diamonds" before it folded a few years ago, and we followed him!! We've holidayed every year in Sidari since 1986 (!!) and eat frequently at Venezia. Needless to say, we now know most of the waiters. The food is excellent - there's a long list of pizzas, all made there and then, as well as a good choice of Greek dishes - do try the prawns - spicy and delicious. Because of its popularity, it's sometimes difficult to get a table. Do what the Greeks do, though - eat late. They don't turn a hair at customers as late as midnight!! If you do speak to Big George, mention "Moussias" ("The Beard") - he'll know who you mean.......
